They have no consideration and always calling for a demand payment and come to pickup appliances even when u have a disabled child sleeping and scratch ur new apartment flooring they are horrible I would recommend rent to own or other companies read more

I am really surprised with all of the bad reviews. I have had a WONDERFUL experience with Aaron's in Conroe. The are always extremely helpful and nice when I call them. When I changed sofas, they were very fast at the exchange. I have purchased a console table from them, and I am in the process of purchasing the sofa and love seat I have always wanted from them with reclining seats and charging/drink station in the middle. I would recommend them to anyone looking at either renting or rent to own any furniture or appliance. I make a weekly payment that is well within my budget. They have different payment options and good deals. read more

One Star - Terrible Experience at the Conroe, TX Store I rarely leave reviews, but my experience on March 17, 2025, at the Conroe, TX Aaron's store was so bad, I had to speak up. Sam, who says he's the manager or maybe even the general manager (not sure who he really is), has zero people skills. He talks to customers rudely and condescendingly, like he's always right and everyone else is beneath him. It's completely unprofessional and honestly, uncomfortable. Then there's Julie, who is supposed to be the sales manager, but she's clearly afraid of Sam. She outright lied just to keep him from getting mad, and that kind of behavior is not acceptable in any business. Whoever hired Sam as any kind of manager seriously needs to rethink that decision. And Julie, unfortunately, is no better because of how dishonest she is. I've already written a letter to corporate and I truly hope some changes are made soon. I have been doing business with Aaron's stores for about 40 years off and on now. Out of all the different locations and in all this time, I had never had a bad experience until Aarons Conroe! Every time I tried to deal with them, it was one issue after another. Today was the last straw! When I spoke to Blake on Tues about a new washer dryer set (ordered online stating delivered in 1-3 days after approved/ which was approved Monday night per Blake) being delivered by Sat morning at the latest, he was wishy washy about delivery and said his manager was taking his time about working logistics on maybe a Fri delivery. He would "call me back when his manager got it figured out". Then said enjoy the rest of your day which told me right there he wasn't planning on calling me back. But gave him benefit of the doubt. Sure enough not a peep. I started calling at 8:07am this morning. Reached a man at 9:35 and he said sales team would be in around 10:30ish and would tell Blake to call me. ISH! Who comes in ISH? Anyway, 11:15 still not a peep so I call back. Here it is on Fri waiting to know if the set ordered is coming today or tomorrow so I can get stuff done. Blake answers the phone. First he can't find my account. Puts me on hold to research it. Comes back and says my set was supposed to be on the truck today but they are out of stock and waiting on a confirmation for a shipment from Dallas. Don't know when that will be. I am livid! I am biting my tongue and remaining calm at this point. So I ask is there another set avail for delivery. He knew I needed the set no later than tomorrow morning. He said "I have a mixed matched pair I can get out to ya next week" I am fuming. I asked "as a loaner?" he said no, we would change it to those in the contract. Held my tongue and said no. I probably should have let him have it but ya know, trying to be a better christian and all... just said I would let him know. I called Tomball store after I calmed down and this store is AMAZING!!!! She went the extra mile and has a set being delivered as we speak!!! THAT is the Aaron's I am used to! THAT is some awesome customer service! DIRTY FURNITURE & TOXIC ENVIROMENT!!!!! As a former store manager at Aaron Rent in Miami, I relocated to Conroe and accepted a lower position to start from the bottom. However, the store was filthy and infested with roaches. The manager yelled at the crew like we were children, and they lacked the courage to stand up against him. if I could give them a negative star, I would the manager is very confrontational and a true jerk. I've never rented from errands and hopefully never have to. He showed up at a rental house that I own looking for. Somebody was rude to those people so I went to the store to find out who went out there come to find out it was him. He was rude to me at the store right off the bat, I guess he thinks everybody Hass to rent from him and he thinks he's a collection agent biggest asshole I've ever met. Well I'd like to add our VERY negative experience with this Aaron's location. The one star review is really generous and that's only because you can't leave negative stars! I do not know where they get their management from but obviously they take advanced classes on how to be rude, intimidating and argumentative. Including the day we returned our items to get away from them. The "manager" came with the crew just purely to walk around our home looking at our personal things while the other 2 guys did the work loading the truck. Then on top of being just a terrible experience up to that point the guy tried to walk out the door with OUR TV set!! BUT, this was the same guy who literally had the list of Aaron's items to be returned in his HAND before trying to steal our tv!!! When he stated "oh I thought that was ours" we were like excuse me you just had the list in your hand and verified what was being picked up. Why are you touching our personal belongings??!! I reported the incident to corporate who completely ignored me until the third complaint. Then some very shady guy who wouldn't even identify who he was called and immediately got confrontational with me and never let me speak. I finally managed to say I was at work I'll have my husband call which he did then this person whoever he was denied even contacting me ....and it was appropriately 2 minutes after I talked to the guy!! He told my husband he never spoke to me......literally just minutes later So know we're into lying as well. We still are unclear who this guy was. He refused to give his title in the company and was amazingly rude from the start. We never got to ask why that manager was even there that day when he wasn't doing anything other than looking at our personal items for I assume intimidation or why he tried to walk out with our television knowing it wasn't an Aaron's item??? I'd still love to have those questions answered but their good ol' boy club is alive and well and they've closed ranks because they know that was very wrong. When they refuse to answer a question their first defense is rude, unprofessional behavior across the board. Unless you enjoy being treated extremely badly go somewhere else. Stay away!!! I rented a used washer and dryer in November 2018. Spoke to Brandon, in October 2019 about the payoff, he stated he will check to see if he could accept $300 as a final payoff... and he wanted to know if I was coming into some extra money. He will call me back and let me know. Here we are in January 2020 and I still have not received a callback but I have received and renewal payment email. I went over his head! called Corporate, Social media and Lester Holt nighty news here I come advising people to stay away from companies like these. They're no different than insurance companies they're here to rip people off. It's obvious they don't give a damn there hasn't been not one reply on any of these complaints do your homework folks. Will never EVER go to this company again! I had problems with them from day one, my products where delivered with scratches and dented, the 10% that was supposed to be applied never was so they always tried to charge me the wrong amount and I had to fight with them every month. The topping of the cake is they started calling my Job ( almost getting me fired) because I was not even a week late but never tried to contact my husband or my home number. They are rude and ugly. The dryer that we ended up purchasing from Aaron's has NOT lived up to our expectations. The dryer will only work as intended when it is set into one dryer setting, if you attempt to use the other settings it gives out an error message. The message indicates that the air intake is blocked. We have contacted Aaron's numerous times, they've kept telling us that the issue was the hookup in the apartment complex. The apartment complex sent maintence out several times who concluded that the issue was infact with the dryer as the previous tenant never contacted the office with any issues. We'd call Aaron's back and they'd tell us nothing was wrong and that they were at a loss as to what to do. The only reason we ended up buying the washer dryer is because at this point, after paying on it for nearly 2 years to give it up now would have been wasteful.
