So Aaru's was decent pan-Indian/pan-Asian food. We have been trying to only use places that are takeout/delivery/curbside only, however Aaru is seating people outside and inside as well. We called and they said that they would do curbside, so we decided to order. NOTE: while they will take your credit card on the phone, for some inexplicable reason they still want you to sign the form when they bring the food to your car. That sort of defeats the purpose of curbside, but we signed. Anyway... Since this was out first meal with them we decided to try a lot of things: Gobi Manchurian, Steamed Veggie Momo, Chicken 65, Onion Bhajiya, Chicken Tikka Masala, Paneer Palak, Chili and Garlic Naan, and Tandoori Roti. They also have a free dessert special, so they added rice pudding. The food was just OK. The Gobi Manchurian was a new cauliflower dish, and we did enjoy it. The veggie Momo were cold dumplings that lacked flavor and, candidly, tasted like they were pre-packaged, frozen dumplings. The dipping sauce, however, was quite good. The Chicken 65 was wetter than we are used to and tasted OK. The onion bhajiya was more like a fried onion pancake than the fried chunks of onion that we are used to.The Tikka Masala and Paneer Palak were both quite good, although the paneer was a little too dry. The Chili and Garlic Naan was fantastic but the roti was just OK. And the free rice pudding was simply terrible: it was far too wet, with too little rice, and lacked flavor (we did not eat it). So, on balance, they were OK. And the fact that they will do curbside was a nice plus during these coronavirus times. read more

Terrific. If you want a abundance of pretty good quality Indian food then this is the place for you. Price was fair for the buffet (15$), customer service was spot on, never once had to ask for a refill, and the ambience was very homey and sublime. I was born and raised in London with some of the most amazing Indian restaurants and this one is the closest I have found that is absolutely on par in the entire state of Florida! Saw this restaurant while driving and turned around when I saw Indo-Chinese food sign. My wife and I ordered 3 of our favorite dishes on the menu....gobi Manchurian, hot and sour soup, and Szechwan egg noodle. You could tell all three dishes were being made fresh did not come out instantly. All three dishes were perfect in taste and texture. I highly recommend the gobi Manchurian. read more

I came in after the lunch rush and was concerned that I was the only one here. The nice lady explained that they were so crowded from 11:30 -1:00. Let me tell you, my taste buds are happy. I don't know the names of everything that I had but literally every item was bursting with flavor. Some were spicy and I was happy about that! The vegetable curry was great. Amazing! First of all, what drew me to Aaru's was the multi cuisine menu and found that picking something was the hardest part of the experience. It's such a diverse menu of Indian, Thai, Indi-Mex, and Indochinese...you can't go wrong with all of those spices. I also can't think of another restaurant in town with this sort of menu. Due to covid there is no buffet however for about $12 they will serve you unlimited portions on a silver platter! I think the special switches up but you can see from the picture it's a lot of food and even includes dessert. My chicken curry was delicious and when I asked if vegetables were served with it I was told "no, but we can add them for you"! And they sure did add some delicious veggies at no extra cost. The space is quite small inside with only a few tables but beautifully decorated. The outdoor patio offers additional seating and distancing in covid times. Although my review is based upon one visit and we plan to go back to try more of the menu, I believe the customer service, unique menu offerings, and taste of the food was spectacular enough to give 5 stars from the start. Very disappointed. The food was bland and the portions where small for the price. Not worth the money we paid.

The food taste like processed food. But the reason I'm writing this review is because I spent $19 for a shrimp curry dish that ended up with a container full of curry gravy and only about 6 small overcooked shrimp and two small slices of bell-pepper. It was easy to tell the Naan was frozen and came straight from freezer aisle of the local grocer. I want be going back. They claim to be Indo-Asian but it seems more like over priced processed food you can easily do at home. read more

Just tried this place out. We were very impressed! They took over the space after Mayuri's left, and they completely renovated the inside and added more outdoor seating. We went on a Sunday for lunch. They have a buffet, but you can also order off the menu. The buffet was really good (i.e. tasty food, lots of vegetarian and meat options, clean, not spicy, etc.).
