Awesome Indian Cuisine that seemed to be authentic! There was only one server as it was before closing but he was attentive even though serving a few other tables. I had the Naan Garlic Bread, Sour soup and Vegetable Curry- portions are large (hello, leftovers!) and if you like sweet tea you must try it bc it's flavored w Nutmeg and Cardamon. Casual but delicious... would recommend. Cheers!

Weird colored, soggy, nasty plain naan

Been ordering takeout here for years and loving it but wow this last meal was sooo bad. One of our entrees was the wrong item and soggy, the other two entrees were so salty we couldn't eat them. And the naan was broken up, a weird color and tasted like fish Very upsetting since this has long been one of our favorite restaurants. Something has gone terribly wrong here.

I knew i should of left when i walked in and told him I would like to dine in . He told me to have a seat . No menu , no customers service whatsoever. I love Indian food . I originally wanted to try the Lunch platter but he made it seem like I was not welcome. I was hungry and really want to give this place a try . I got there at 1:35 . They close at 2:30 . It actually hard for me to go sometimes, I live 1 hr & 30 minutes away , in school and working mom of two . This was a waste of money especially I am a great cook ! This was too sweet had no kick , I asked for Medium . I wish i could give. It a zero star ,than you have to pay for Naan . That probably the only thing that taste good and have any type of kick . My sauce was thick and clumpy . My chicken had no flavor either also look under cook . Pray i don't get food poisoned. I am breastfeeding. I hope he isn't the owner because i own a business and im also come from an ethnic Asian background. Just very disappointed. I will only be going to one Indian place in tally from now on .

Chicken Tikka Masala filled with oil and old chicken. Nasty.

Completely shocked at how bad this place was. To go order ended up being a disaster. Chicken tikka masala was filled with oil and the chicken was inedible and hard as a rock. Also tasted old. The shrimp 65... no comment. It was completely bland and disgusting. Not even a real Indian dish. Someone needs to shut this place down!

My wife and I recently visited Aaru's for dinner. The menu is extensive and overwhelming featuring multiple pages of Indian, Indochinese, and Thai dishes. I decided on the Garlic Naan and Lamb Curry. The naan was thin, lightly crisp and nicely garlicky. The curry was creamy, flavorful, lightly spicy and full of tender lamb. The side of soft savory rice nicely soaked up the curry. Overall, Aaru's is a nice stop for good quality Indian food.

First time visiting this wonderful and delicious restaurant ! Hidden gem! The atmosphere is chill and cool, but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they're doing and what they're talking about. You can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Went there celebrating a friend's birthday and were treated like royalty! The food is very very tasty! Everything we tried was delicious! Garlic naan, Tandoon Momo, Butter chicken, curry chicken, the sizzling Aaru's Mixed Grill, chicken 65 rolls, onion kulcha , the goat Dolsa was huuge! and so many more that I cant remember! Will definitely come back to tey more delicious goodies! Complements to the chef!

Hands down the best Indian restaurant in town. Friendly staff, great service and amazing food. Willburn was a great server and provided excellent recommendations for our party. It's hard to believe you're in north Florida because I am consistently impressed by the food and the experience. If you've never been, you need to go! My personal favorite is the Lamb Korma, but I'm sure you'll find something here you love.

Daily lunch buffet is served individually on large steel trays with many small dishes called Thalia. Could barely finish it. Tasty.

The dining area is not very spacious, but is intimate, which I really like. We enjoyed the background music, which was along the lines of smooth jazz. Our server was super nice and explained in great detail, the specials for the day. We started the meal with several appetizers: Spring Rolls, Fried Calamari, and Crab Cheese Wontons. We enjoyed the appetizers along with the sauces (except for the peanut sauce, which I didn't care for). For our entrees, we choose from the Specials menu, which was written on a board for all to see. I ordered the Red Snapper, which was fried and topped with carrots, baby tomatoes, onions, pineapple and cilantro. Had I been listening as I should, I would have asked to not include the pineapples or the loads of cilantro. The dish came with a side of rice. My husband ordered the ribs and chicken entree with noodles. He said the ribs were good; they were so tender that they slide off the bone. Both entrees were tasty; in my case, a quick fix was to push the cilantro and the pineapples to the side and enjoy my fish with just the veggies. To add to our dining experience, the chef and/or owner came out ask if we were enjoying our meal; love the special touch. We finished the meal with an order of ice cream that we shared. I am usually fine with just plain vanilla ice cream, but what we ordered was different and quite delicious. The ice cream is "home-made" and comes in exotic flavors. We choose the mango tea ice cream; it was mouthwatering! Overall, we had an enjoyable dinner and plan to return to sample other menu items. Note, if paying with a card, there is a fee (no fee with cash).

I would pass on the fried rice next time as $20 for a half a take out container of rice is very high. The white rice was perfect. I found it a little weird that whole baby carrots are in the dishes. I wish the portion size was larger for the price. The portions are the size people should eat, but at around $25 for an entree, you kind of hope you have some leftovers. We finished everything in one setting and would have eaten more if it was available. The decor in dining room is interesting. I don't love the chair covers. The service is great. The server explained all of the specials when I dined in. When I called to order, the lady on the phone was able to help me decide on what to order. I would like to make this a regular place for us, but with a price tag of $110 for a family of 4 (no drinks since it was take out), it will stay a special occasion restaurant. There is a 4% charge if you use a credit card. The prices also seem to change frequently from the menu.

My wife and I were in the mood for authentic Thai food and decided to check out Bahn Thai. Based on…read morepictures and reviews, it looked like that's what we were going to get. We were sadly mistaken... Our first warning sign should have been when our waitress was taking our order. They were out of the Masaman double beef curry. When my wife ordered an alternate item, our waitress would say they were out of it. They were out of or not serving about half of the items on the menu. This was sort of acceptable, as our waitress mentioned that they were going to close for a month starting the next day. Fine, we were already seated and might as well try other dishes. We ended up ordering beef pad Thai and Panang curry with beef. 30 minutes go by and we still haven't gotten our entrees. Meanwhile, there was a party of 3 next to us that came in shortly after us. They had already received their food. An hour goes by and still nothing. Meanwhile, the party of 3 had already finished their food and we're getting the bill. I went up to the waitress to check on the status of our food. She went to the back and came out shortly and actually said, "I can't really talk to them back there, but they look like they're plating your food now, so probably about 5 more minutes". I was very confused. Why can't you talk to the cooks in the back? Oh well, 5 more minutes we waited, then 10 minutes. Finally, we were starving and decided to walk out, letting our waitress know to cancel our orders. She replied, saying she would let the cooks know. This is the first time I've ever walked out of a restaurant. It was a pity, as I was really craving that Pad Thai. I was baffled that the party next to us, as well as other parties were receiving their food before us, though I did notice most dishes that were coming out were soups. I'm not sure if the cooking staff had issues with other food. A point to note, most patrons who were getting their food before us were white, while my wife and I are Asian. I'm not accusing them of being prejudice or racist. This is simply an observation we made. Needless to say, I won't be coming back. The hunt goes on for a Thai restaurant in Tallahassee.

The covered concert space across from this restaurant hasn't seen any performances in ages. Dreamland BBQ that abutted the venue has come and gone and Lemongrass has changed owners. What the original owners probably had hoped would be a destination dining spot has become a hidden restaurant down inside the old mall footprint. You have to know it's in there, that you can drive into that center of everything and that there are parking spaces down in there. I suppose they get some business from people going to the nail spa or the cut and shave shop nearby. I think I saw a fitness center there too. Oh yeah, with the demise of the original vision for The Center of Tallahassee, it now has a bunch of State of Florida employees as a captive audience for lunch. The original Lemongrass was Thai and Vietnamese food. With the new owners there is now a separate Indian food menu as well. I remember enjoying the Thai dishes in the past and the Indian dish I chose this time was tasty. I asked for medium spice level and I have to give them credit for actually spicing it. So many seem afraid to actually make a dish spicy. I ordered a Mango Lassi after the spice level started to build in my mouth and on my tongue so I could mitigate the burn a little bit. Milk products never fail me. The service was laconic. The one waiter seemed more interested in what was on his phone. He had trouble understanding my English and I had trouble understanding his English so I was pleased that I got what I ordered. The food came out in good time but I wouldn't count on much attention being paid after you get your food. The restaurant is showing wear and tear. Vinyl baseboards are missing or drooping. Booths are comfortable but worn. In summation, the food is fine but there's not much going on that would get me to come back. Kind of a shame. That whole area down in the center of The Center of Tallahassee had such promise.
