I really enjoy getting my nails done here whenever I'm in town. I usually go first thing when they open and am always able to get right in for an appointment. They keep it super clean in here! That's probably my favorite part. Everyone who has done my manis and pedis has always done a quality job. They seem to last a good amount of time. The massage chairs are lovely. I don't love places with TVs and especially any news channels but I get that lots of people do enjoy that so I just close my eyes, relax and enjoy the treatment. They push for cash pay (like most southern CA nail businesses) and will charge minimum $2 or 3.5% for using a card. The prices seem pretty reasonable to me for where they're located - $40 pedicure with callous removal, scrub, and 8 min massage. Thank you so much! I have been going to this nail salon for about a year, some technicians are good, most are so so, a few are bad. I only get regular nail polish (lacquer) not dip, acrylic nails, or anything fancy. Because I only ever get the basic service, most of the technicians act annoyed to have to do my nails. I understand that a $20 service pays less than a $75 service, and therefore earns a smaller tip, but don't offer it if you do want to do it! They are always in a rush to finish my nails and get me out, I know they treat me differently than people who get expensive treatments because some of my friends and neighbors use this salon too. I was unhappy, but willing to be treated like a second class citizen at the salon until my most recent visit, which will be the last time I ever go to My Nail Lounge. As usual, the technician wasn't happy to have to do my nails so she rushed through as quickly as she could. She didn't want to bother to push my cuticles back, that would require soaking my hands for a few minutes, then pushing the cuticles back with a stick. So since she wanted to be finished with my manicure, she used her Dremel to grind my cuticles off! One NEVER uses a Dremel on a bare nail, it is only used in a salon to grind down the dip polish. In addition one NEVER uses a Dremel to remove cuticle or any skin at all. It was pure laziness on her part and perhaps a little spite too. I could have gotten a really nasty infection from her little stunt, so I assume she was acting out of spite in addition to laziness. If you are planning on getting a very expensive service, my understanding from my friends is that some of the technicians do a good job because they want a big tip. There are some who do a lousy job no matter what because they don't have the proper skills according to my friends so look at examples of their work. If you are only thinking of getting regular nail polish (lacquer) applied, do not go to this salon. You will be treated like you are a piece of dirt on someone's shoe if you're lucky, and if you're not lucky they will directly touch your finger nails with a drill that should NEVER BE ALLOWED TO DIRECTLY TOUCH A NAIL OR SKIN. It doesn't matter whose fault it was, if your nail smudges while they're still painting your nails you will get a nasty look and they will do a really lousy job of fixing the smudged nail, all the while muttering under their breath. Honestly, when I do my own manicure at home I don't get any smudges, when I get my nails done at My Nail Lounge I always walk out with at least one nail that is so totally smudged it ought to be redone. Again, why would anyone pay to be treated with contempt? I don't know, and that's why I'm done with My Nail Lounge. Edited to add: I forgot to mention that last Halloween I had my technician add some holiday nail art stickers. I will honestly say that a five year old without eyesight would have done a MUCH neater job. The woman didn't do what I asked, which stickers on which nails, plus she tore one of the stickers as she applied it, so that became an abstract black blob on my nail. She also applied them wrong so the polish she had already applied got extremely smudged up. They should have paid me for the fiasco the technician created on my nails! I wish I still had photos, you'd be dying of laughter! read more

Came in for 2 pedicures!! Not to busy but my artist seemed like she had a lot on her mind or maybe she was just having an off day. I mean it happens so I was understanding. The pedicure chair wasn't working so I ended up getting a nice shower as the water sprayed right all over me.... I wasn't in anything fancy so I laughed it off but they definitely need to address that situation. I got a gel pedicure and didn't realize until I got home there was polish all over my skin which is such a pet peeve of mine. So I spent the evening fixing the pedicure I paid $48. On my big toes, the polish is all bumpy so I put a decal over it since I'm leaving on vacation today and yea that sucks! On a positive note..... I will say, VY was amazing! She did a great job on my sons pedicure and I was jealous I didn't get her! If you want a pedicure I would personally book with VY! She was extremely friendly, she helped me clean up the pool of water I was left sitting in, she did a great thorough job on my son. Her massage was relaxing and she went above and beyond to try to apologize for the inconvenience the lady doing my pedicure had left me in. I understand we have bad days but I feel management or someone should have stepped in and addressed how my lady was messing up. She didn't shower me once, but twice. All of my items got wet but luckily I literally had my old Tory Burch slides and just leggings on so I dried off pretty quickly in the car. About 3 weeks ago I tried this place and had a fill that I thought was really well done for a good price, it was $40 for the fill. Today I went tfor another fill and had a completely different experience. First of all, I called and made an appointment at 2:30pm, I showed up on time and they saw me after 3:10. I was not in a rush, I so I patiently waited without complaint. After my fill was complete, a different lady came to check me out and said that it would be $50. I informed them of how my last fill was $40 and wondered why the price had gone up, since I did the exact same service as last time. They said the price was always $50, I then showed them the picture of the their prices, which they don't have posted and mentioned how it said it was $38 on the pricing. They changed their story and said it's $50 because I had dip or hard gel on from last time so they charge extra to take that off. I told them the last time I had my nails done I had it done here, and that I just had a gel fill. They just looked at me and stopped taking. I ended up paying the price, but said I would not be coming back. Too bad, because I actually liked the quality of their work. But did not respect the sneaky and rude behavior I give. I've been to this salon twice. Once last in Dec 2023 and I went with my mother and we had a great experience. I got a gel mani-pedi. There were two technicians working on me and they both did a great job. I was impressed. The second time in March, I went got a dip manicure. And honestly I was disappointed all around. I asked the technician to fix a several areas that were uneven and also on my skin some but she didn't redo them but just patched it up. The manager saw and said nothing. Perhaps the technician had trouble seeing the imperfections, I don't know. I didn't have time to raise the issue again and have it redone so I paid and left. She was friendly and nice but the nail job was worse than me doing it myself! I've done non-gel manicures before and I've never had this happen. I really liked the salon after the first visit but the second visit was too bad that I'm not likely to go back again. Rating 3/5 to average out the quality of both visits. read more

I spent 23 min on the salon and the technicians were full on talking about their clients in Vietnamese: how annoying they are, how to up-charge the clients and how to trick them into more services! I'm guessing I don't look like I speak Vietnamese. I couldn't get through my services. I paid their full amount without my toes painted. Next to me was this sweet elderly woman who they had no problem taking advantage of! Saying trick her into getting the gel she doesn't know the difference. So I turned to her and told her what the techs were saying. Turned to the techs and told them I understood every word they were saying! Disgusting! I walked in for a dip mani/regular pedi. I was informed mani would be after and I agreed. As my pedi was finishing I witnessed a reviewer below who thought the fill was $40 incident. This should have been my red flag. They couldn't give exact answer and reasoning for up charge. I waited sometime for the only manicurists to finish with an other appointment. I wanted to verify my pricing after I saw what happened. Go figure mine was now $60. At this point I've been waiting so long what ever, I'm here and want my nails done. She started removing my current powder and went to start a fill in chair. I waited and waited 20 mins go by my fingers start burning. I spoke up and I started removing foils and she ran over. I was so fed up as I was almost there now for 3 hours. I said just finish removing and I'm not going to continue. She then charged me $10. They do not have their pricing straight and charge as they please. Make sure to verify before hand. I also question their sanitary practices. I saw the woman cleaning utensils in sink and drying on towel. Unfortunately this was my last straw. Sadly won't be coming back. read more

This was recommended by a friend, and I am happy to say that I am really pleased with the services I have recieved. The salon is cute and clean, with cleanliness being very important to me in a salon. Pricewise, I consider it a tad on the higher side, but for me, the cleanliness as well as the quality of the work is more important to me. And the team members have all been very kind, and the work done is always nice and consistant. Generally, I get a pedi and mani every 3-4 months, and on occasion, I will have my toes polished with gel. (I don't get any gel, acrylic or dip on my hands, so I can't evaluate those services.) They do an amazing job of transforming my hooves, lol. My manicures and pedicures have been flawless, with no issues at all. Parking is generally available, although not hugely abundant. There is an adorable little coffee shop in the same center that I also like. Conveniently located at the corner of Golfcrest and Navajo. Pro-tip...I also visited the salon after a 6 mile hike nearby and had a hot stone massage /gel pedicure, and it was the best pedicure of my life thus far! Walk ins have never been a problem for me, although I do try to call ahead. read more

During my appointment there was a lady who walked in named mila, came in speaking rude to the employees, and was very demanding. Not only did she get up during her appointment and walk out WITHOUT PAYING she started yelling at the employee, she was making threats to her as well. She was so rude and it was not necessary. I've been here 3x now. I'm not impressed. My first visit was fine, but the gal butchered the cuticles on my fingers. For my pedicure I paid for extra massage and all I received was a lotion application. There was absolutely no pressure applied. If your employees can't give a massage when you pay for "extra massage" then don't call it a massage- call it a lotion application. The second visit was great! My toes and nails were done well and the "extra massage" was AMAZING! Unfortunately I forgot to get the name of the gal who was attending to me. My last visit was super lame. I had one gal do both my pedi and mani. She was done in record time. Both my mani and pedi felt rushed. I paid for the scrub, callus remover, extra massage and nail buff. The nail buff was beautiful, all in all she did do an excellent job on my nails. The pedicure was meh. She barely scrubbed my feet with the callus remover and once again the massage was lame. I have a sore on my big toe where she roughed me up. I was out of there in 45 minutes for both my mani and pedi. It felt rushed and they weren't even busy. I have been to My Nail Lounge 2 times now. I went for the first time a few weeks ago and loved how my nails turned out! I tried a different place for my next fill (I was still trying to figure out my "go-to" spot) and they turned out horrible! I couldn't stand to look at them so I actually ended up taking a few off. My friends and I came to this place like clockwork every 2.5- 3 weeks for gel pedicures and dip nails. We literally never went elsewhere. Last weekend we booked two pedicures and three nail appointments with no problem. They made two of my friends wait over an hour for their services and were not apologetic at all. We didn't make a big deal of it bc we were together and catching up but it's a little ridiculous that even with appointments we were there for three hours. Then two of us got chrome on our nails and were so excited bc it looked amazing and fun. At $3 extra a nail you'd think it would hold up... but no. I've now been back three times to have mine fixed and they look HORRIBLE. Every time I've gone in to have them fixed they've just plastered them with more layers so they are thick and peeling. They look awful and getting anyone to care about the wait and the mess that is my nails has been atrocious. My friends are also all messed up after less than a week. Super disappointing read more

Unfortunate cause so close and convenient for me, but very disappointed with my pedicure for the second time at this salon. Uneven, didn't cut nails down at all like I asked. I dont believe she could understand what I was saying. The floor as I approached the chair was/is disgusting, unswept, nail clippings and spilled liquid on floor. I sure hope the bowl was cleaned/sanitized before I sat down. Barely touched during 'massage' and about 10 seconds of callus scrub on each foot. Poured an enormous amount of oil out of a bottle titled cuticle oil on my legs for massage vs lotion and I'm super oily after. Then the customer in front of me was told they could not charge her credit card. That she had to pay in CASH and would need to take $ out of their atm. This I believe is illegal. Thank goodness I actually had cash on me or would have had to leave without paying. I've had way better pedis at most other salons. :( read more
