An excellent choice for home improvement. We had a bathroom remodel that was ten years in the making. We had done all the rest of the work in the house and the bathroom was the last. Since I had three joint removals done we felt we needed to farm this out. We interview four separate contractors for the job and chose Premier Home Improvements LLC as the one to go forward with the contract. What had impressed us the most was their approach to managing the project. It was a project manager's approach. Everything was laid out, in writing, as to what were their responsibilities and what were our's. What we had to supply and when it was to be there for our side. What they would do at each stage of the project, demolition, plumbing, electrical, walls,. tiling, and so forth was documented and we had to sign off on it. That helped us to make the decision. What earned them the five stars was the quality of experts they brought in to perform the work. Craftspeople all. If an issue was discovered they just did not bill ahead with what they thought should be done but they involved us and asked our opinion on how to handle something. I can think of only one thing that I was able to provide a solution for that they had not thought of. All in all we were very thankful for the company as a whole during these trying times (COVID-19) and I am certain that even if we were not battling a pandemic they would have shown the same level of care, commitment, and professionalism Well done Premier Home Improvements! read more

We met with 6 contractors before we chose Premier for a bathroom renovation, and so happy we did. Our timeline was extremely short, due to my husband having surgery. Submitted my online inquiry on 7/1, met with Vince on 7/3, signed the contract on 7/4, demo started on 7/8, and project completed on 7/23 (which was the day of the surgery). These guys were AMAZING! They were so understanding and respectful of our situation, while the rep from ReBath pratically laughed in my face, saying that my budget and timeline were impossible. He also went as far as saying that any contractor who says they could do the job was most likely not good. Well, not only did Premier prove him wrong ... we're so happy with the crew and results that we will be hiring them for our kitchen renovation. I had Premier Home Improvements do 2 bathrooms , kitchen and dining room remodel. I worked as a Carpenter for over 25 years and have been a Home Inspector for almost 16 years. I would not recommend them if they were the last Contractor on earth. One of their subcontractor workers as they sub all their work out left a water bottle filled with urine in my basement sink. The work they did was very sub par. I told Vince the manager that I wanted to speak with the owner of Premier and he stated that the owner was in Florida. The owner didn't have the decency to call me. I have my own Home Inspection business and will always be in contact for clients. Please do your research before you hire Premier. Vince the manager had an excuse for everything . Too many errors were done at my home remodeling project by Premier which could have been easily avoided. The shower heads in the 2 bathrooms were installed at different heights. I found leaks under the bathroom sinks which was all new plumbing. The Plumber should have been more vigilant. The owner of Premier stated the work done at my home was professional. A professional would have no leaks whatsoever with the plumbing. There is no excuse for brand new plumbing to be leaking whatsoever. There was a total of 3 days where not anyone showed up at my home. I wasn't notified that they wouldn't be there. The owner of Premier didn't have the decency to call me. After spending at least $75,000.00 in renovations I thought I would be extremely happy with the finished product and I'm not. I highly recommend any person thinking of hiring Premier to do some research beforehand. The so called manager Vince Chenzo or Larocco was sued in the past by previous customers. Vince Chenzo (aka Vince LaRocca) is currently being sued by Lisa Madigan for consumer fraud. http://www.illinoisattorneygeneral.gov/pressroom/2017_08/20170825.html. Look up Katlia construction. That was the company that he used to own that has gone out of business and is currently part of the same law suit. Before Katlia, Vince had to pay $10k in fines with his other company A1 construction Chicagoland inc for similar issues. This is his M.O. Please consider these factors when looking to hire any company Vince is associated with. Vince has filed for bankruptcy as a way of getting out of paying his victims any ruling from court. It's all public record and available for you to see. Vince and his new company continue to delete my review and say I am a scam and not a real reviewer, or they don't know who Vince LaRocca is (it is no coincidence that the owner of the new company shares his last name...think about it). Update: This is not a scam. I am a real person who was a customer of Vince LaRocca's (Chenzo) and Katlia construction. Not a scam. I am a real person who was taken advantage of by Vince. My bathroom remodel project, which should have taken 10 days to complete was incomplete after nearly 5 months before I decided I could no longer work with Vince and his company. He makes excuses and avoids communication. He will take your money. New update: Now they're saying they don't know who Vinnie is. Too bad for them I've done my research so you don't have to. We recently had a complete bathroom remodel performed by Premier Home Improvement LLC. It was an excellent experience working with this company and we would highly recommend them for any home improvement project. This was a first time bathroom remodel for us and we wanted a company we could trust to do quality work and to have good communication with us throughout the project. Premier met the criteria from beginning to end. Our bathroom remodel included removing a bathtub and replacing it with a built-in walk-in shower. Everything else was updated (cabinets, toilet, counters, faucets, lighting). Vince, was our project manager and he guided us throughout the project with the bathroom design/costs, permit acquisition, material purchases and the coordination of the contractors (demolition, drywall, tiling, plumbing, electrical, quartz countertops and custom shower door). Anytime, I texted Vince with a question, he would immediately respond the same day. The workers were all very professional and great craftsmen. Randy built us the perfect shower seat! Every work crew took great pride in their work and always thoroughly cleaned up when they were done working each day. Once the project started, they sealed off areas of our home and covered our carpet. Their workers were very professional and did their best to not disturb us while we did e-learning/worked from home. We had our main bathroom completely gutted to the studs and redone by Premier in Sept 2023. They made the shopping process for materials I would have to pick very easy by taking me shopping and having me take pictures of the sku and product for everything I picked. They then sent me a list of exactly how much of each product I needed to purchase. This was tremendously helpful and reduced anxiety as I wouldn't have had a clue! The GC doing the bathroom was very knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, and communicative. He would explain to me every morning what the goal was and at the end of every day he showed me what was done and what they would do tomorrow. My only compliant would be timeliness as I never knew when people would show up each day, or when they would say, it wasn't at that time and not always advised when they were running late for long periods. This was difficult for me because I work from home full time. Other issues were resolved quickly and efficiently. Overall, I am more than happy with the service provided and especially the finished product. I finally have my dream bathroom! read more

I called Premier earlier this year to get an estimate for a bathroom remodel, but it was clear from the very begginning they were more concerned about me keeping the appointment rather than them showing up at an agreed time. They wanted my cell # but would only commit to an hour window time for sales to show up. Turns out Sales was late anyway, "supposedly traffic was a mess!!" Then have Sales does their ibnspection for estimate, he says he needs to run the numbers with his boss & make another in person appointment to gave me the estimate. I told the guy my schedule is busy & could he just call me with the estimate. Said it's not their policy but her would make this one exception. We recently had Premier Home Improvements complete a remodel of our hall bath. This included replacing a tub with a fully tiled shower, new tile floor, and painting/patching the walls. They were extremely professional, detail oriented and wore masks the entire time they were in our home. We recently purchased a home that was built in the 1950s with a recreation room that was still in its original state. This room with a very outdated aesthetic was desperately in need of an update, and we began the process of contacting numerous contractors for estimates to renovate the space. From the planning stage, Premier Home Improvements stood out from other contractors because of how professional and meticulous they were in presenting their proposal. We received a through and transparent explanation regarding their process and the estimated cost. They carefully took notes on the vision we had for the updated room and made sure to incorporate specific modifications we requested into the blueprint. Once the work began, we consistently received updates regarding the progress of the project and clear explanations on why certain issues with the original construction (things that were hidden behind the walls) needed to be addressed now. The project manager also responded to any concerns we had with the work in progress and made sure that they were addressed by the crew. Even when there was an unforeseen situation with a glass window sustaining a crack at some point during the renovation, Premier made sure that it was replaced with a brand new window before all of the work was completed.
