All I can say about this little restaurant is WOW because the food is AMAZING! The restaurant itself is on the smaller side but we really liked the intimate and cozy feeling you got from inside the restaurant. Although on the small side, the restaurant was done beautifully. With all the flowers, green plants, and lights hanging from the ceiling and the oversized pink throw pillows on the table benches the restaurant gave off this charming and romantic feeling. A perfect place for a romantic date night. Our party of 4 started the evening with the falafel appetizer, the hummus tahini, and the crunchy cauliflower. I think our favorite of the appetizers was the crunchy cauliflower it was perfectly crispy and tossed in a sauce that was just a little bit sweet and everyone loved it. The hummus tahini was very good as well, but it was a bit disappointing that the hummus arrived with only 2 mini pitas on the side for the 4 of us. I think for the $17 price it should have come with enough pita bread to enjoy the appetizer without having to order 2 laffa's ($8 each) + 2 more orders of pita bread for $5 each ($43 total) which we felt was a bit $$$ for an appetizer. We ended up ordering the shawarma spiced wagyu steak for $54 with a side of couscous for $8 and the Persian braised beef short rib for $55 with a side if brussels sprouts for $8 and everything we ordered was delicious. My favorite dish was the braised beef short rib because the meat was tender, fall off the bone, and came with the most delicious pomegranate sauce that went so well with the beef. If you like a kick to your food I highly recommend ordering a side of "harif" to go with your entrees or appetizers to add a bit of spiciness to the plates and was also very good to try, For dessert we had the lemon oil cake, the baklava, pistachio ice cream, and the sticky date cake. Our family has a sweet tooth, and we could not decide on what dessert to get so we each ordered one to try. Out of the desserts, the pistachio ice cream was everyone's favorite along with the baklava. If you are a fan of lemon oil cake you will really like this one as well, it was one of the best lemon oil cakes we have ever had. We had the pleasure of having Kfir as our server for the evening, and he truly made it a wonderful dining experience. He was friendly and funny, made great recommendations, and really enjoyed spending time with his tables, chatting, and talking about the different dishes on the menu and where the restaurant came from. He truly made it a wonderful place to celebrate my mom's birthday - the service he provided was fantastic. So big THANK YOU to Kfir for the wondering evening! Overall - be prepared to spend a pretty penny as the restaurant is a bit on the pricey side. We spent close to $450 for dinner for the 4 of us (not including the tip or parking) but I must say the FOOD IS AMAZING and was worth every single penny. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. On a final note if you are planning to visit this restaurant, be prepared to get here early as it wasn't easy to find parking anywhere near the restaurant. Even on a Thursday night, it took us 45 mins to finally find parking, and it was about a 10-minute walk away from the restaurant. If you prefer not to walk or spend time searching for street parking, the restaurant offers valet parking for $25 -which is not expensive for Miami standards but was more than we wanted to pay to park the car in addition to the cost of dinner. My sister highly recommended this place so we finally stopped by for brunch on a Thursday morning. There were seats inside and outside available so we opted for outside. Space is slightly tight but nothing unbearable. For drinks I just had to try their frozen limonata as I saw so many of them getting served and looking delicious. I got it without alcohol but can imagine it would taste better with as the mint and lemon flavor was ideal for a cover up. My sister enjoyed her Abbale spritz which was berry flavored. We shared an order of roasted beets as we were still full from dinner the night prior. They were perfectly cooked with dollop of tahini and mount of fresh sprouts. My sister got their sumac chicken shashlik which was skewered chicken on a pita with fresh toppings like pickled cabbage, alfalfa sprouts, and a cucumber & tomato salad. There was also a side of fresh hummus and tahini. After much debate, I decided on the lamb kofta pita sandwiches which were served similarly as hers without the large metal skewer. But mine had a side of black tahini instead. For sauces, I preferred the hummus, then traditional tahini over the black version as I thought it was pretty bland in comparison. The chicken was charred well but I thoroughly enjoyed the lamb significantly more as it was more flavorful and moist. Overall, I had a perfect experience. Our waitress was very kind and attentive making sure to check in on us every so often. She even offed to pack a new container of tahini when I took my second half of the pita to-go. This was on my list of must try places in Miami and it did not disappoint. We were able to walk up for lunch and get a table outside under the tent covered area. I was really really excited to try this place but unfortunately the service and some dishes fell short. The service was not good . Our waitress left us alone when we first got there and was completely inattentive. There was only two other tables in the outdoor area and it was a quiet day, so really no excuse. For food, we started with the muhammara and a side of Israeli bagel. The muhammara comes with bread, but she failed to bring that out until we called her out. I have to say the muhammara was very delicious but such a small size for the price ($8 for maybe 4 bites). For this size, this is something other restaurants would give complementary. The bagel was tasty and light but again not worth the price for the size. For entrees, we got the sumac chicken shaklik, fatttoush salad with side of chicken, and the lamb kofta pita. The chicken for both entrees tasted burnt and had no flavor whatsoever. We know our chicken kabob and this was not it. The kofta on the other hand, was absolutely delicious. The toppings on the dishes just felt redundant and lacking of a burst of flavor. Price wise, the portions are extremely small for the price. The quality also falls short. The bread is just bleached flour and lacked real flavor. I would return but only for the muhammara and kofta. read more

Joined a friend group late who surprised visited for a night. My major gripe was my friends said they had to order for me ahead of time (when they ordered) and not closer to when I got there due to policy. So, my chicken entree was sitting there for a while. The odd part was: once I got there they were very friendly and asked if I wanted to order anything else, which I did. So, I'm not clear why they were a bit unforgiving with my friends initially on my entree. The food was flavorful. I tried some of my friends hummus, pita and muhammara. The starter dips had nice flavor, the pita was a bit cold by the time I got there. For my main: ROASTED CARROTS$7.00 BAKLAVA$11.00 SUMAC CHICKEN SHASHLIK (DINNER)$27.00 The carrots were cold, even though the roasted description made me think they would be hot. I wouldn't order those again. The chicken was exceptionally seasoned albeit it was waiting for me for a bit. Yes, a reorder. The baklava was as expected. I'd maybe try one of their more uniquer options next time. I also tried some of my friends strawberry lemon olive oil cake, which they loved and I also enjoyed. So, I would recommend this spot. The food was good. The place is intimate and has a some decent parking spots around if you're lucky or valet. I'm not sure why I thought taking my besties here for brunch to celebrate their wedding Anniversary would be a hit or miss even after reading all the positive reviews but the choice was nothing short of perfect. First of all let me give the well deserved flowers to Martinique, the absolute best server we've interacted with as of late. She was so welcoming, accommodating, helpful and went above and beyond to make this brunch date special for my friends and I. Won't get into details but after having a "not so positive" interaction with the host at the door and end up seating inside after I requested and outside table, Martinique turned the experience the other way around to a positive and memorable one, she is HER. So after getting comfortable outside, which is a gorgeous space with the right vibes and aesthetic, we started with some limonanas and stuck with those for the rest of the meal because talk about a refreshing drink that also packs a hell of a punch. Now we ordered a LOT of food so I'm not gonna break it all down but everything was phenomenal. Dishes that stood out and I recommmed are...crunchy cauliflower that would turn a carnivore like me, vegan. You couldn't tell me this was not chicken; The Shakshuka with ricotta cheese on top to die for; Steak and eggs that were some of the best I've tasted in a while; Grouper ceviche of the day was impeccable; Masabacha and those addictive Jerusalem bagels were perfect together and last, for dessert...Lemon-olive oil pistachio cake, pistachio ice cream and baklava with pistachio ice cream. We ended up taking some food home which my besties love to do so I was proud for picking a good restaurant that they enjoyed and loved as much as they did. Absolutely delicious! I truly can't wait until I go back to this restaurant. Came here for Valentine's Day and it was spectacular. We were greeted by the hostess who was very welcoming and greeted us with a warm smile. We were seated at our table for two outdoors. The table was beautifully decorated with flowers and a red candle.The outdoor seating area is nicely decorated, you feel like you're sitting in a garden of plants and flowers with a nice breeze. They took a Polaroid picture for the special occasion, which I personally thought was so unique. Our waitress was amazing, although the menu was pre-fixed, they were flexible and would make anything happen in order for you to have great time. For starters, we were created with champagne, crispy cauliflower and 3 different dips with pita. Every single dip was divine, so flavorful, unique and delicious. The show stopper was the crispy cauliflower, it was deep fried with cheese and tahini on the side. Which came with an Israeli white Chardonnay. For salad we had the crispy halloumi salad. Amazingly delicious. Roasted honey walnuts, kale, fried halloumi cubes with a nice vinaigrette. Fourth course a couscous shrimp paella. Which was good but not my fave. The flavor was on point. For the main we had the Bronzino with Brussels Sprouts. It left us speechless, so simple yet flavorful and fresh. It truly blew us away, this was pored with a red wine. And just when you thought it was over, the Baklava with Pistachio gelato! OMG!!! You just have to try it for yourself. The flavors and texture paired very well. The staff and the attention to detail was truly worth more than just 5 stars. They didn't miss a beat, everything was perfection. Before we left they gave us a Valentine's Day card and a goodie box filled with an assortment of cookies and brownies, which was complimentary from the restaurant. The potato chips are homemade and is a must. We got some crudo dish which was also very delicious. Their salads are so fresh and colorful, as are all their dishes. The staff was so knowledgeable of the dishes, which is tricky with all the different spices and sauces used. The restaurant was a beautiful sight, such light color and decor, but so tasteful and creative. My favorite feature is the fact that they display the spices and sauces used in a way that shows just how they are incorporated within the dish. This was my wife's and my big splurge dinner while on vacation. Sadly, it was underwhelming on all fronts. The fish with middle eastern spices was basically shashuka with a bit of preserved lemon that I could have made at home. The lamb sausage was good but the accompanying eggplant slices were dry as hockey pucks and flavorless. The octopus was executed well but it seemed mismatched with the cold tomato, olive and chickpea salad. Service was poor. Our server fawned over other tables, but forgot to check in, pour wine, etc. Maybe if you are a regular or exude wealth, you get a different vibe. The chicken shwarma platter was also so tasty and filled with different peppers, sauces, flat pita wrap, tender meat, pickled cabbage, etc. The falafel pita is also a must have. Crunchy falafel but soft on the inside in a soft pita with cucumber, pickled cabbage, and tahini. Also comes with a side of the pickled veggies. The best part of this restaurant is their dips; the hummus and babaganoush with warm pita are my favorites. The drinks are good as well, the Abbale spritz was a bit sweet so the waitress brought more Prosecco to top it off (which made it perfect- and more cudos to the service too!). Let me just start off by saying that this place is absolutely amazing. My mother and I came for Miami spice and had a great time. All of the food options sounded delicious but we decided on The fire roasted carrots, fires roasted onions tahini, and the beets for our appetizers. The onion tahini was by far my favorite it had so much flavor to it. The carrots and beets were also good. The carrots came with lemon, tahini, ras el hanout, and sumac and the beets came with toast pistachios, tahini, and sea salt. For our mains we chose the Israeli crunchy kale with chicken and the water melon feta salad. Both salads were were so flavorful and filling! The dressings were so unique. The dessert we both chose was the pistachio gelato with baklava crumbles. The gelato was really smooth and the crumbles were delicious. As a drink I ordered the Limonana which was delicious and full of fresh mint. The service here was great however once the crowd started to pick up it took quite sometime to get our bill. The decor was also really beautiful. The patio was so enchanting it almost made me want to eat out side in this Florida heat. Definitely a must if you're in the area. read more

There's so much variety to the menu that you can go heavy with a shakahuka, or light with a salad, or just have a variety of small plates. I had the Israeli crunchy kale with sumac chicken and hubby had the shakshuka - all good. The cons: Did NOT love the blonde hostess' attitude. She sat on her phone and didn't acknowledge one person walking up outside. Luckily the younger woman working and seating did her job. It was brutally hot and people were waiting...had she just looked up she could have helped multiple tables. Bad 1st impression. I get the new trend of Instagram ambience but plastic hanging flowers/plants give me the creeps because they eventually turn into dust havens and where creatures hide. Wow. Sooo good. We came on Tuesday afternoon for lunch and didn't think we would need a reservation but I would recommend one at all times! We did get in after a short wait as a party of 2. We wanted to try everything so we started with lattes, bourekas, and babka. They put a heart in my oat milk latte which is hard to do! (There is a .50 cent charge for oat milk which isn't listed on the menu.) The bourekas was nice and crispy, it had more seasoning on the inside than I remember from israel (maybe from the onions?) The babka was nice and moist and had great flavor. The server recommended the babaganoush as a starter dip and it was incredible. Only downside is it comes with a really small single pita. Definitely not enough for the dip - you can order more for $2 each. Really good pita though! For the main meal I had the chicken shashlik which is a skewer of chicken breast on a laffa bread (like a thin pita) and Israeli salads. The laffa was fresh and had great texture. The chicken was very well cooked. The Israeli salad had green pepper in it which I don't think is traditional and would prefer without it, but overall added a fresh bite to the meal. Don't forget to douse it in the tahini sauce they give you! My bf got the shakshuka with lamb and was very happy with it. It comes with a giant Jerusalem bagel (like an airier bagel).
