I hadn't been here since it was it was Prime Fish. Motek has now taken over the space. I've always loved their beautiful big tree outside. The happy hour is my favorite. Very good cocktails and dishes. My go tos are the salmon skewer, watermelon summer salad, beef shawarma, and Arayes. Everything always served hot and fresh. Check them out!

Wow! Came here with my mom. The food at Motek was so tasty! I loved the mix of sweet and savory in the halloumi date skewers. The hummus was also extremely good, and we liked that the bread came with scissors - that actually is the most efficient way to cut it. The warm Caesar was unreal, not like anything we thought it would be (see picture). The freshness of the food and the uniqueness of the flavors is hard to put into words. It was actually so good that we went to the Boca location the next day when we were in that part of town. The south pointe location was clean, minimalist, bright, and airy. The only thing I would say is that instead of having one super large stall in the women's bathroom, cut it into two. But that's really the only criticism I have. Our server, Marko, was friendly and efficient. We will absolutely be back!

Okay so Motek has a GREAT happy hour. But here are some things to note. 1) service was really hard to have consistently. Our server would get lost at times and we were waiting a while for some items just to be told when we asked whats going on that he was confused on our order and didnt put them in.. we were originally just asking for a refill on our drinks and ordered a happy hour plate so not sure what was confusing. 2) the pita for the happy hour dips are definitely not enough and you have to order more and pay for more to be able to actually have the whole dip with the bread, unless u wanted to just eat the dips with a spoon. As for the food, the hummus is an ok choice, but I would definitely choose the labneh marmalade over it every time. we loved it so much that we ordered a full size and it's definitely worth the shot. The chicken Shawarma pita was actually surprisingly good and it's a pretty good size for $5. The areyes burger was okay. The flavor was good however it was pretty oily and a tiny size. I will sayyy drinks were amazing for $5. I'll probably come back for happy hour, but definitely not at this location. The ambience was nice, the music was nice but pretty loud.

What an amazing place. The outside has great decor and a fun yellow car out front. We came here for happy hour between 2-5pm. The deal was for the bar and high tops and the menu was $5 per item. We sat outside at a high top and placed several items to try. It's all mezze portions so it was great for us to share. We got the Summer Salad, Salmon Skewers, Zucchini Latkes, Basket of Lollipops, Cauliflower Couscous, 1980 Ribeye pita, and Eggplant and Egg pita. Everything we got had so much flavor - it was all very delicious. Our favorites were the zucchini and ribeye pita. We also got the Rosemary Gimlet and Watermelon Cooler cocktails which were also quite good. Service was decent but the food was just so good. I wish we had more time on our trip to come back but highly recommend this place!

My friend recommended Motek to us and I'm so grateful! Fantastic atmosphere, nice music but still able to talk. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly and professional service. Our server was Jordan and he is one of the best servers we have ever had: attentive, knowledgeable, made excellent recommendations, never rushed us. We loved our dishes! Esp the heavenly Labneh yogurts with olive oil, and pillowy Turkish bread! Highly recommend!

I could not have ordered a better day for brunch at Motek. Cool breeze, bright sky and a perfect table. There are several Moteks in South Florida and our Uber brought us to South Beach via 395 but then took us north several miles to a location that exists 20+ blocks away. My guest realized and suggested we just stay there. Thank goodness I insisted we head back south. After brunch, my guest thanked me for insisting we travel back to our original destination. We sat next to the sidewalk under the big tree. Immediately inside was a bit too warm for me. There is seating toward the rear, but it was too glorious a day for that. My first time anywhere, I tend to try several dishes. Here's my take: Labneh with Olive Oil 10/10 The Labneh is sour and tangy -- certainly more flavorful than anything you can buy in a store, and the Olive Oil must have been kissed by the gods. The Mushroom Hummus was like nothing I've ever tasted. So much flavor, so bright and bold -- I've never had hummus like this! 100/10 The Laffa was made by an angel. 10/10 Crispy Cauliflower, this was the only low note of the meal. Not crispy, no flavor, I would not order this dish again. The Crispy Artichoke was another top dish! Exactly what you'd imagine in your wildest dreams. 10/10 Our main dishes came straight from our server's recommendations, the Greek Salad was a thing of beauty and my guest mentioned they'd never tasted cucumbers like those. The Arayes Burger sounded so intriguing and the server said they'd never had anything like it. Check and check made with beef and lamb inside pita . . . it was delicious. The dips/sauces added nicely to the dish. 10/10 I'm sure the food is good at the other locations in South Florida, but it's hard to beat South Beach on a beautiful February day. Can't wait to go back.

    Eggplant hummus. Really good!

Adorable restaurant in the SoFi area of South Beach! Mediterranean food that is all shareable. We were with a big group so got to sample quite a bit of the food. The lamb kabob was a standout-amazing! The eggplant hummus was also delicious. The fried artichokes were really good-the green sauce it came with was the highlight of that dish. The Greek salad was very fresh with great ingredients but it needed a little more dressing or lemon juice for some zip. Someone in the group wanted to pastrami flatbread. It was well made but wouldn't have been my choice. I would skip the chicken kabob and fried cauliflower next time and try other items. Service was friendly and attentive but it did take a while to get the check at the end. Overall I would definitely recommend and go back.

My friend and I stopped in for happy hour after an afternoon at the beach. The restaurant and outdoor patio are beautifully decorated, and we sat at a high top to take advantage of $5 watermelon coolers (tequila, ancho verde liqueur) on happy hour special. We also split 2 cold mezzes, including babaganoush (grilled eggplant, pomegranate, za'atar) and matboucha (spicy tomato dip). The pita bread was so memorable!

Motek -- where Israeli comfort food meets Miami cool. From the moment you spot the iconic yellow Fiat out front, you know you're in for something special. Bright, airy, buzzing energy, and food that hits every note. The food: Perfectly crispy falafel, silky hummus, fresh chopped salads, warm fluffy pita, and that schnitzel... golden, crunchy, and addictive. Every dish is vibrant, balanced, and full of authentic Mediterranean flavour. The vibe: Casual yet stylish, great for sharing plates, lingering lunches, or just soaking up that Tel Aviv-meets-South-Beach feel. Why it works: Fresh ingredients, bold flavours, generous portions, and consistently done right. One of those places you'll crave again before you even leave. A must-visit if you love Israeli/Mediterranean cuisine done properly.

The food was so good and portions are big. Next time id go for happy hr where they have 5 dollar ver of smaller dishes, so i could try more variety.

    BABAGANOUSH
    Frank G.

Motek is becoming my safe spot in town for Mediterranean food. I recall they started inside an old building in downtown and since then, have expanded throughout the city. As a local, their ambiance, service and consistent quality from location to location are appreciated. This last time, I was at their South Beach location and had some of my favorite dishes such as, the babaganoush, labneh za'atar and ribeye on baguette. I also tasted other new dishes to me : crispy cauliflower and the fennel and pomegranate salad. As usual, the labneh and babaganoush were outstanding. That smokiness of the babaganoush is so on fire, well done! The fennel and pomegranate salad was refreshing with the perfect acidity that rounded up all the flavors. It was indeed delicious but I think $18 is too pricey for the size and considering there is no protein in here. The ribeye in baguette which I have had before at other locations was not as great as I remembered. The coleslaw had too much dressing/liquids that dripped through the bread and made it soggy. Should the coleslaw be drier preventing the juices from getting into the bread, it would be a 10 out of 10. Flavors were spot on. Lastly, my least favorite, the crispy cauliflower. This was not crispy probably because after the deep-fry some sauce was poured on top, making the cauliflower soggy. Also it was cold, which made me believe this was made and left on the kitchen for a while before bringing it to the table. Also the batter powdery flavor was coming through. The best part was the pickled onions, it had some sort of cinnamon flavor infused and improved the cauliflower by a lot when you had with it. I had higher expectations for this dish. I will like to try it again and see if it is any different.

Wow!! The food is incredible!! Best Mediterranean I've ever had, and I am Turkish. We tried oven pastrami pita, za'a tar labneh, roasted eggplant hummus, halloumi date, and beet and arugula salad. And they were all delicious!! Anastasia was very attentive and patient, explaining the menu and answering all our questions.

    Crispy artichoke

Another fabulous meal at Motek in South Beach. We sat in the late afternoon in the courtyard under a beautiful tree and looked out on Collins. Truly a great setting, ask for the courtyard when you reserve (there are also a few tables on the street front). The star of the show was the exquisite whole grilled branzino, followed closely by two orders of the crispy artichokes (2 in each order for 4 of us). Order something like hummus to enjoy the pita, which is like eating a cloud. The lamb shawarma was tasty and a quite generous portion, and the beef kufta kebab was also delicious. Service was excellent and cheerful. (Note that happy hour (2 to 5) is only in the bar area, tho there are tables in there so it's not just sitting in the bar.)

I wasn't able to catch our server's name however they were very well knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. We decided to do several apps versus getting individual meals as this restaurants theme is to have shareable plates. So many dishes, got the French and Turkish oven pita. Both were good and had different highlights. Loved the gold scissors provided to cut strips for sharing. Classic hummus which had to have been the smoothest hummus I've ever had. Zucchini Latkes were one of my favorite along with the Cauliflower. The seasoning on this was amazing, a bit sweet, and crispy outside. Crispy artichoke I could have done without. It was kinda like eating rice paper, odd texture. Had to try the baklava for dessert along with the pistachio cheesecake and the vanilla, mango and Nutella gelato. Nutella was my favorite.
