They will shut off your lanes at 11:30pm without warning but will turn them back on if you call them on the pink phone or walk up and ask. 2. Our group of 4, two adults and two teens, was able to get two games in. Our hour ran out with just three frames left but Digger was nice enough to let us finish out. There wasn't a wait but the space did have a few additional families come in while we were there so business seemed pretty steady. We took advantage of the bar and reasonably priced beer and liquor. They have daily specials on various bottled beer as advertised throughout the bowling alley. They also have a great bowling deal on Thursday's for $5 for all you can bowl from 4-6 including shoes! The selection of beat up plastic house balls were about what you'd expect from a family bowling alley, and had fun designs on them. The oil was almost non existent on the right side of the lane, and patchy during most of the run. I switched to lefty, and had a better time. It's almost impossible to get consistent throws given the condition of the lane, but it was still fun just crashing pins for an hour. If you want better seafood, go to Holy Crab. If you want a significantly better bowling experience, absolutely go to Potter's Alley. But, if you have an hour to kill, and feel like knocking a few pins down during lunch, Uncle Buck's seems okay. The reason that we were not able to order food was the owner had shut down the grill for anyone coming in to make food for his child's party. Or, we could have been told upon arriving. Long story short, we had a 4 hour party that we could not eat at, as the policy of this establishment is to not allow outside food.
