Pretty standard sports bar experience. The interior is filled with multiple TV's playing various sports. The staff were super friendly and accommodating but it was a little on the slower side despite not being all that busy. My family split the poutine which was actually really good, although my experience with poutine is somewhat limited. Both my wife and I had their wings and there were definitely pros and cons. The wings are incredibly crispy but not dry; and the only disappointing part was their dry rub. I chose the salt and vinegar, roasted garlic and red pepper, and scorching. Scorching was the best and just the right amount of heat. The other 2 really didn't stand out and felt like I was just eating a normal chicken wing. Honestly the standout was their drinks. We like to stop in here when we are in town. This time we had our pup with us , I did look to see if they allowed dogs on the patio it said yes. To make sure we called Abbey Road the gentleman who answered said yes but only on the patio. Awesome! When we arrived we were notified that no dogs were allowed, not happy since I made sure they did prior to making arrangements. Our friends got a table on the patio. while I made sure our pup was comfortable In our hotel room. We were enjoying the patio when some other patrons came out and started smoking just off from us. i asked the waitress why and she informed us that they allow smoking but just in that area. maybe the smoking laws have changed? From the outside I really wasn't sure what to expect as the place looked small, but stepped inside and wow! A huge place with a long bar, stool seating, and lots of booths to chose what you like. The first night we went was a major ufc fight which we didn't know so kinda on us as the service was a bit slow but completely understandable. Place was packed but still got a seat right away which was great. Next time I went was for the Canucks playoffs. They have a GIANT projector screen to watch the game, along with like 50 more tvs so you never miss a moment of the game. The nachos are huge and really good, same with the wings. Drinks are a good price too. I've seen online that their patio is very nice as well so have to try that in the summertime. It's independently own which is awesome, and met the owner briefly. Came here for some drinks and bar food. We waited about 5 minutes (in that time a server told us someone would be coming to seat us soon) and another server eventually came and told us there would be a 20-30 minute wait for a table OR we could sit at the bar. The place was 3/4 empty so we were.. confused about that. She explained that there were only 3 servers working. Baffling because it was a long weekend night BUT she wasn't lying at all, there were literally only 3 servers working and they were non-stop. Our server/bartender took our drink and food orders right away. There were 7 of us and all our food came out at different times. The food was pretty decent. I could see this being a good place to go if a hockey game is on. The service was welcoming and very friendly but it bothered me a bit that the staff couldn't chill for even a minute because they were so busy. ABSOLUTELY HATED this place the first time I went. I ordered a flavorless salad and a mojito that had no mint. Or lime. It was literally soda and I think peppermint schnapps. I was brutal. And the servers are.. on the less conservative side. Having said that, I've figured out how to enjoy my visits there. Stick to beer and pub food. My boyfriend always gets mexican and he doesn't mind it. But they have almost 20 beers on tap! Including some unique and imported ones. And the beer prices are amazing - even with out a special! Now I love going here to watch a game :) Just stick to the beers and you're good! Wish she servers were a tad less skanky though. read more

This was a pretty nice place. I could lower the rating as the service was more like a 2.5-3, but I liked the atmosphere and taste of the wings. Suprising there wasnt a wait all, maybe because its in Canada but if this place was in the US there would be a long wait. The wings had a very good taste. There also was a great selection of wings. The selection of beers was a disappointment as they label themselves as a taphouse. I dont care if its in Canada, but BUD IS NEVER an import. I just thought that was funny when I saw that. Also inregards to the wings heat level, HOT was very very doable. Infact it was so mild I thought I could do the outrageous level. UHM its 100% hotter. I ate 3 wings out of 9!. An hour later my tongue is still burning. I am afraid of whats going to happen when I have to use the toilet. Customer service could be a little better. I was there for about 1.5 hours and only ordered 3 different types of wings. Also it seemed like they dont have set waiters/waitresses as I had 3 different ones helping me throughout the night. Again...is the beer cold? Yes. Beer was cold. My burger and salad were great. The chairs at the tables were very comfortable. Lots of TVs and the wait staff very cheerful and quick. My favourite local haunt for hot wings - nice happy hour with decent prices albeit ending a little early. As with lots of places in town it has a reputation but we eat here regularly and have not seen any sketchy activity. UPDATE: After repeated bad visits this place is no longer on our list. They changed their food, service is OK, their seats are now covered in duct tape... Sorry to say this place has fallen off track. Reduced from 4 stars to 2. Prices bumped up but everything else has gone down hill. read more

Service absolutely sucks. At about 10:15 on a Friday night I arrived tired and hungry after a 14-hour day with the promise of more long hours the following day. I was seated immediately (there were perhaps 20 people in the place) and after a few minutes ordered a beer. Then the waiting began. No fewer than three miniskirted waitresses strolled right past me and the menus, none of them showing the least amount of curiosity or incentive. After 20 minutes of being ignored I got up to leave, and THAT"s when they chased me down in the parking lot to pay for my beer. But I had to wait some more while Miss Miniskirt fetched the credit card machine from the back of the restaurant and mumbled something that might have been an apology. OK, waitresses, listen up: The faster the service, the better the tips. GET IT? The best part about this place is the music videos being shown, which is hardly a reason to ever go back. read more

Best place in town to watch a Canucks game. Came here with a few friends to watch the game, the other night. On what is possibly the biggest screen I have ever seen. Thing is from the roof to the floor, absolutely stunning picture quality as well. I was completely blown away. It also happened to be wing night, and I have got to say, this place has got the best wings in town, bar none. The four of us must've had at least 10 pounds of wings!! Service was great, especially considering how busy they were that night. And best of all was the beer prices, I was drinking pints of guinness for under five bucks, which is insane. I don't think they had a single beer over five bucks now that I think about it. Will DEFINITELY be coming back for more!! read more

Food was good but took SO LONG to get to us, and our server didn't seem to want to connect with us at all. We went to abby road on a sunday and sat down and waited about 5 minutes and received no service then decided to move to the less busy section where the waitress came up and rushed us to order and pretty much stated that she had the whole restaurant to herself so decide on what you want because she did not have time to deal with us. It was the blonde waitress with pink ends and she was extremely rude. So we left and cancelled our order because we felt unwanted. Came in at 9:00 after a long, hot day working on a race car at Mission Raceway. There was a copy of the menu in the elevator of the motel I was staying at next door and being tired and hungry, I quickly showered and came in to grab a bite. I first noticed the place is more of a sports bar than a restaurant, with too many televisions to count and the volume cranked way too loud for the light crowd there that night. There was no hostess to greet me at the door, so I took a few steps in to look for someone to ask where to sit. A guy came over and said sit wherever I wanted, so I found a booth as far away from the loud tv's as I could. I sat there for several minutes, noticing the majority of the waitresses were quite attractive, all wearing tight, black outfits that showed plenty of skin (not that there is anything wrong with that!). Finally, a very attractive Asian waitress came with a menu and took my order for ice water with lemon. It was close to 15 minutes before she came back with my water and took my dinner order, 8oz. sirloin steak, roasted potatoes and vegetables. After another 20 minutes my food finally came, it was okay, nothing outstanding or that I haven't made myself on my Treager. My waitress disappeared for another 10-15 minutes before finally stopping to ask how everything was, I asked her for a side of bbq sauce, as they do not have A1 orI Heinz 57 steak sauce, she said no problem...I never got it. After another 10 minutes, she asked if I was ready for my check, which took another 10 minutes or so to get. It was for $18, I gave her a $50 and she asked if I wanted change back! A $30 tip for crappy service and so-so food? I wanted to say "unless you are planning on coming back to my room and blow me, hell yes I want my change!" Overall, not a good experience, will not eat there on my future visits to Abbotsford. read more

Great place for wings night, they have a great selection of flavors. My favorite is hot/honey garlic. They have great drinks specials as well. I usually just go for wings, but looking at their menu they have quite a few options that I will hopefully try in the future. The service could use some work though. read more
