Was in the area so we picked this cute little spot. Hometown feels and nostalgic vibes. Our server was nice. Service was quick. Food was nothing gourmet but definitely comforting. LOVE that they call it Taylor Ham! #TeamTaylorHam. My friend got the chicken tenders (which were actually 2 chicken cutlets) and onion rings. And I got a grilled cheese with tomato and onion rings. Originally wanted fried shrimp and onion rings but they didn't have it "til tomorrow". Prices were FANTASTIC! Food was ok. Place was clean. But the BEST part? The cook! SO! MUCH!! SASS!!! He made my day! Til tomorrow!

PROS: This is a quaint diner that I found on Yelp. the staff is very nice, including the waitress Abby (or Abbie). the food was great and SUPER fast. it's a family business which generates a lot of locals to come in and the menu had a strong variety at good prices CONS: The parking lot is tiny and they only have a one person bathroom. Inside it isn't as spacious as other diners and its also easy to miss while driving by OVERALL: If I lived in the area I would always come here. But if you're new to this diner, those are some things to be aware of

This is a perfect little local diner. Service is so friendly and food delicious. We walked in, with my family of five, close to closing time but we're still warmly welcomed. This isn't a typical diner. There are four small tables in front, seating two people each, and about 6 stools at the counter. It's kind of a cross between a deli/very small diner. The owner let us know his pancakes and burgers are the best so of course we ordered them. He wasn't lying about the pancakes. They were fluffy and delicious. My husband and son enjoyed their burgers. My other son devoured his sunny side up eggs. The owner made us feel like we were regulars there which is why I'm giving Abbie's five stars. This kind of service is extremely rare these days and it was a very pleasant surprise. Now if only I could move Abbie's closer to my home :)

Nice service, friendly people good food - that's just this place is about. Small cozy seating and surprisingly I liked sitting by the window watching people go about their lives. But that's just weird me :) I'd definitely go back again for those challah french toasts

LOVE This place! If I lived around here I would be a regular for sure! It was full but man did the food come out fast. I was very impressed. Everything was delicious and tasted home made. The staff made me feel at home and like I was already a regular. I fell in love with this little diner. PS: must order the pancakes

Hands down best pancakes I've ever had. Short stack is 2 pancakes-perfect size. Bacon was done just as I asked.

THE FOOD ----------------…read more+ Italian Omelette - Good portion omelette and well-cooked with portobello mushrooms, sausage, peppers and onions spread throughout. Some home fries were on the burnt side though, which made half of the home fries enjoyable and the other half not so much. + Italian Spaghetti with Meat Sauce - Relatively simple dish shared by our kids, but there was lots of tasty meat sauce on top and all around on the spaghetti. = Crab Cake Benedict - Was OK. Had good flavor, but one egg was runny and one was not. Typically, I would pop the eggs for the yolk to run out on the home fries, but one egg was well done. Like the Italian Omelette, some of the home fries were on the burnt side, so had to navigate through the good and not so good pieces. THE SERVICE ------------------- + Were greeted at the entrance by a nice gentlemen who took down our name and informed us of the wait. = Waiter was friendly, but we didn't see him much for most of our meal, other than when the food came and when he handed us the bill. He never checked in on us during our meal. + Food came out very fast, which is typically the case for diners. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------- + Typical diner layout with lots of booths and tables inside. = Decor inside was nothing astonishing, but it was decent for a diner and, like I said earlier, typical. = Tight private parking lot in the back. It's one way traffic, so it can get tricky if crowded, which was the case on the Sunday we were here. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Even though it was very busy on a random August Sunday morning, it was only a 10 minute wait at 11:45, so it wasn't bad at all.

Our server Francisco was not a talkative man, but he got the job done. We got chicken fingers for the kids immediately upon sitting down, and Francisco had them out quite quickly, which we appreciated. They also arrived on a bed of lettuce, for aesthetics. My wife and I also shared a buffalo chicken wrap, and a caesar salad with grilled chicken added. The former was not great, as it was more tomato than chicken, and desperately in need of some bleu cheese dressing. I would've taken ranch even. The salad however, hit the spot, and the massive amount of actually well seasoned and cooked grilled chicken was much appreciated. Just so you know, pay at the cash register by the door. Francisco never came back for my credit card.

Not enough words can describe the amazing food here…read more I didn't know what to expect when stumbling into Country MKT diner, and you shouldn't too. Take those expectations and throw them out the window, and open your taste buds and mind to new flavors to homemade dishes that will blow you away. I heavily recommend the mozzarella sticks which are more like bricks of cheese dipped in seasoned coatings that will make other mozzarella sticks think of a new name when these melt in your mouth and pull apart perfectly. The homerun of a sandwich is the Bun Jovi which is a honey Sriracha chicken schnitzel slathered with swiss cheese, pickles, pastrami, and coleslaw. And this dream of a sandwich delivers. The blue seating booths make the diner fun , with high backs they provide comfort and some privacy to your conversations. We arrived a little after 9pm. The service of the young server was perfect. He was prompt, polite and attentive to our needs. The food was as good as you can get at a highway diner. We got what we expected and enjoyed it. Desert, however, is another story. D is allergic to anything that contains caffeine. That means no coffee, tea, certain pain medications and NO CHOCOLATE. She asked me to go to the display counter and see what kind of cheesecake there was. There were many different kinds: mango, orange, caramel, banana and more. Unfortunately, this diner's idea of garnishing a desert is with a creme topping loaded with CHOCOLATE STICKS, CHIPS, AND COOKIES! (see attached photo) EVEN THE DESERT LABLED VANILLA CAKE WAS FESTOONED WITH CHOCOLATE HOO-HAH! When I mentioned this to the management, I was told, "Well, we have rice pudding and baklava." No matter how I worded it, he just couldn't seem to comprehend that a good 90+% of his deserts had chocolate which was discriminatory against people who are allergic to chocolate. I even tried to put it in another reality for him. I asked if their baker made anything with peanut or peanut butter. He replied in the affirmative. I asked if they had a special preparation area so that there were safe deserts for a child with a peanut allergy. He didn't seem to understand the premise. So, if you, or your child have ANY food allergies, I strongly suggest that you avoid the Suburban Diner at all costs. We will be doing so in the future.
