I've probably been here three or four times at this point and I've got to say, this place is phenomenal. You can never go wrong with a sandwich, and Uber Brunch really delivers. It's a small establishment, but their menu is fairly expansive and they can pretty much make up any sandwich you think of. I freaking love sandwiches, wraps and paninis, so this is my go-to when the crave hits. They also serve breakfast, which I have yet to try, and offer muffins and pastries all day long.

This seems to be a solid brunch/lunch spot, and it is 30 seconds from work for me, priced well, and they are very friendly I had a chicken fajita wrap, it had caramelized onions, grilled chicken, cheese and avocado. First off there was plenty of avocado in it, which a lot of places might skimp on, and the avocado was fresh, along with the rest of the ingredients in the wrap. They also pressed the sandwich, which melted the cheese and added a nice crunch to the sandwich exterior. The breakfast sounds pretty good too, need to try it next time.

Saw this new place and I had to stop by since they have a big sign about EMPANADAS!! I'm eating the Ham & Pepper Jack cheese RIGHT NOW..,mmmmmm! Gobbled that up. Now I'm trying a Baked Chipotle Chicken one fresh out of the back...and...OMG..soooo good, nice zing to it. They've got my endorsement!

Absolutely lives up to the hype!…read more The pastrami is insanely tender like melt in your mouth kind of good. The sandwich is definitely messy, but that's how you know it's done right when its packed and stacked with meat! Even with a line out the door, the guys behind the counter cutting the meat are friendly and keep things moving. They even hand out samples while you wait, which makes the whole experience feel welcoming (and honestly makes the wait easier).

The fries are steak fries, which I don't typically love but it worked well as a vehicle for the pastrami. The corned beef is a bit dry. We had some pierogies but these were superrrr oily. We also ordered a matzoh ball soup because I've never had it before. But the second I saw them microwave it in a plastic container, I knew I had made a mistake. It was basically just a matzoh ball in very salty chicken bouillon water. I'm sad that was my first matzoh ball soup experience but am not deterred from finding a real one elsewhere. Based on my previous visit and this one, it seems like you should just stick to a classic pastrami sandwich. It's big enough to share between two people. Next time, I'd like to dine in and eat it fresh. The sandwiches also come with a bunch of pickles, which was nice. Tip #1 - there is a parking lot but because there are so many stores and it's next to Bratek Deli, it's a nightmare. It did also happen to be Good Friday, so maybe that made it worse? I don't remember it being that bad the first time around. Tip #2 - I called ahead to place my order but still had to wait 15 minutes extra after the quoted time. They prioritize walk-in customers, so you might as well just order in store.

We ordered the meatball sandwich, the eggplant parmesan sandwich, and the chicken and rice soup. The sandwiches were incredibly tasty, with an excellent marinara sauce and great mouth feel. The bread also was amazing - I think it may have been an Aversa seeded roll. The sandwiches were huge servings, and we packed half to go. It was a cold, rainy day, so we also craved warm soup. The chicken and rice soup was probably the best I have ever had - it had a golden hue, flavorful and clear broth, and perfectly cooked rice and carrots, with just the right amount of tender white meat chicken. That soup was so delicious that we ordered another serving to go. Nick's strikes us as a family business, where they take great pride in their homemade recipes and treat everyone like family. The guy who took our order, brought our food, and interacted with us was so friendly, genuinely kind, and helpful. We also noticed that he was equally friendly to all customers. This is a terrific sandwich shop. Highly recommend.

I liked the skirt steak sandwich the best, it's not cheap but the ingredients are high quality so it's worth it as a treat. They also have beautiful garden seating. I ordered Turkish coffee, fresh grapefruit juice, Gurmanski dorucak, mini burek with spinach and cheese, and fruit cake. I love Turkish coffee and this was very good. The juice was tart and delicious. The breakfast platter was a showstopper. Two fried eggs, tomato, feta, two meat patties, and homemade bread. The flavors of the meat blew my mind. Who knew that Croatians make the most delicious burgers. This is a hearty and fantastic dish. Also, the burek was flaky and light and not very mini. I took home the cake and enjoyed it later. Light, delicate and not overly sweet, this was a star. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you should stop in for any meal. Seating is first-come, first-served, and guests are placed based on availability, which keeps things fair and efficient even during busy times. The tables for two are intimate and cozy, perfect for conversation, though they can become a bit tight when ordering several dishes at once. That said, the staff was attentive and checked in often enough to clear plates and make room, which made the experience much more comfortable. The dessert menu is separate, allowing guests to enjoy their meal at an unhurried pace before deciding on something sweet. Their beverage offerings are thoughtfully presented. Herbal tea options include green tea, chamomile, and English tea (Stash), and the tea is served in a container that provides two full servings. The cappuccino is well made and served with a sugar crystal stick, adding a distinct old-world charm that enhances the café's European feel. I regret not asking for an additional order of Turkish coffee so that's a regret . What we ordered: * Greek Salad - $18.50 * Cappuccino - $6.80 * Herbal Tea - $6.00 * Uštipci - $17.25 * Musaka - $22.95 * Šnicla (Cutlet Sandwich) - $20.75 * 2 Diet Cokes - $8.00 The musaka is a baked dish and does take about 25 minutes to prepare, as it's made fresh with baked eggs, seasoned beef, and sliced potatoes layered on top. The wait is well worth it, resulting in a hearty, comforting dish that tastes authentically homemade. The Šnicla (cutlet sandwich) arrived beautifully presented on a wooden board, adding a rustic, elevated touch that matched the restaurant's aesthetic. Mom felt it lacked in seasoning but she Didnt leave any crumbs . The Uštipci were a standout--served with feta and honey, generously portioned, and so plentiful that we happily took some home. We were too full for dessert this time, but it's absolutely on the list for a return visit. Due to winter weather, we couldn't explore the back of the restaurant, but even from the main dining area, the decor is undeniably charming and full of character. Overall, Cafe Bubamara offers authentic flavors, generous portions, attentive service, and a cozy, old-world atmosphere that makes it a place worth revisiting.
