Good sundaes. Fast service, nice outdoor patio. Classic custards and sundaes. Large menu, pies, cakes, pints, flurries, splits, milkshakes, floats, novelties.

Best frozen custard I've had in a long time. I wish there were more flavors but very delicious nonetheless.

I got the chocolate almond in the cup and there's plenty of almond pieces in it which was one of the today's flavors. And I asked for small. But after I got mine I noticed there's a trick in their menu which is the first one is small the second one is medium and then the third one which you would assume it's going to be something even bigger but then it's actually kid size. so basically what they listed on the wall is small medium and then kid but the kid is actually the smallest cup. So the kid size is 3.90 while the small is 4.40 which actually gives you almost double the amount that you get for kid. So I think overall small is really good for its value for the amount you get. But if you're thinking about just getting a small treat then maybe just read the menu a bit carefully unlike what I did lol

If you like frozen custard Abbott's is truly the best. Abbott's first started in Rochester/Charlotte area on the end of Lake Avenue when everybody would go to the beach. More so it started long before my parents were born. Later on they had a second location across from the airport where people would order the custard and watch the planes take off. I believe the first location started in 1926, The second although I don't know I would guess in the late 50s. This specific location in Henrietta is new to me, but not the decadent flavor. Abbott's now has gone franchise, but, and I mean this strongly the flavor has not changed a bit. It is every bit as good as it was when I was a little child. They have added lots of new choices over the last 40 years but I almost always go Chocolate Almond Custard or Vanilla Custard or when I go crazy Half-and-Half.

Most Rochesterarians know about Abbott's frozen custard that makes a sweet summertime snack. They are a locally based company and offer a unique perspective on ice cream. This location just opened up next to LA Fitness (maybe a trap for the weak willed after working out) and has a fresh, warm feeling interior with a small seating area. While most Abbots locations shut down for the winter, the new Henrietta store is open year round. Custard isn't the only thing on the menu...they bring their A-game with ice cream sandwiches, flurries, pies, and frozen cakes. Prices are just below or in line with Coldstone, but I feel better about supporting a local company and getting a better taste (see what I did there?) of the wonderful Rochester area. If you haven't had their custard and you're reading this, now is the time to go (unless they're closed of course!).

It was not bad but I don't see what's so special about it. Creamier than soft serve ice cream or yogurt. Otherwise just ok.

The vanilla custard was way too soft and immediately dripping all over the place. Very disappointing.

Today we decided to get our favorite ice cream because we were having a tough day and thought it would be nice to treat ourselves. Usually, the strawberry sensation is paired with Tahitian vanilla. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that it had been replaced with raspberry. I realized after I had already poured it because the color looked different. I thought, "Well, it's too late now, let me try it," but unfortunately I didn't like the combination. I went to the front and spoke to the gentleman who said he was the owner. I calmly explained what happened and asked what I should do. Without hesitation, and with a very unpleasant look on his face, he replied, "What do you want me to do about it?" I again explained that I had simply overlooked the flavor change, but he rudely responded that it was "right there" and continued by saying, "We don't waste food around here." At that point, I decided to walk away and remove myself from the situation. I dumped the ice cream because I wasn't going to pay for something that was an honest mistake and that I didn't enjoy. When we finished and went to check out with a very kind young employee, the owner came out from the back, saw the ice cream I had dumped, and attempted to charge me for it. I politely replied that I would not be paying for that. His response was simply that we could leave. I have never had an issue like this at the Webster location. This owner should consider taking a class on customer service or even anger management. There were many ways this situation could have been handled calmly and respectfully, but instead it was met with unnecessary hostility. It was a very bad look for what is supposed to be a "family business."

A very solid froyo place…read more It seems to be popular to a wide range of locals, for anything from date night, to family night, to post-awards and event celebrations. This is your typical self-serve froyo place, for those of you who prefer frozen yogurt and toppings over ice cream. They also carry Perry's brand ice creams if you prefer that. The cashier was nice, although the self-serve setup lends to very little human interaction. They have ample outdoor seating out front, which is nice, although the ambience is a shopping strip parking lot so nothing too fancy. Other notable details: they do have a rewards program.

Both flavors were incredible: super creamy and rich. My friend got chocolate almond fudge, and that was just as good. We also grabbed some baked treats to go (brownie, whoopie pie, and muffins), and everything tasted amazing. Other than sweet treats, they also have coffees and teas on their menu, and a bunch of different dairy products. It feels cozy, local, and authentic - like everything is fresh or straight from the farm. It's actually part of a long-standing local farm operation, which makes the experience feel even more genuine. I also loved that they support other local businesses and sell products from them, it adds to that community feel. Overall, this place is more than just an ice cream stop, it's a whole experience. Definitely coming back.
