Frost & Foundry is a fantastic new addition to the far end of Park Avenue, tucked just beyond the main cluster of restaurants. The shop itself is charming, and the outdoor seating is even better -- picnic tables, comfy chairs, and a glowing fire pit that makes the whole space feel cozy and inviting, especially on a summer evening. Inside, they offer some truly amazing treats. The flavors are bright, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical ice cream shop. Staff were friendly on both of our visits and helped guide us through the options. We haven't yet been able to try their signature rolled ice cream -- once due to an anti‑griddle issue, and once because they were out of a specific cream needed -- but fear not, there were plenty of other excellent choices. Some in our group went with classic scoops, but we opted for the Ice Cream Nachos, which turned out to be outstanding. You choose your scoops, and they're served over delicate, crisp pizzelles and drizzled with sauces. We picked Cinnamon Roll and Banana Cream Pie scoops, both bursting with flavor and leaving us simply smiling. The finishing drizzle of pancake syrup tied everything together beautifully. Service was extremely friendly and prompt, and the outdoor seating made the experience feel relaxed and fun. This review reflects two separate visits, both of which were excellent. Frost & Foundry has quickly become our new favorite ice cream shop, and we'll definitely keep coming back -- hopefully soon enough to finally try that elusive rolled ice cream too. read more

What a fantastic find! Cutest little corner shop in a great lil neighborhood. Sweet decor, fabulous customer service. The owner scooped up our treats himself and was so friendly and chatty. We had a big group- we have seven kids- but he was quick and efficient. The real star, though, was the ice cream. Everyone was thrilled with their choices and practically licked the dish. Honestly, this place is such a vibe. The decor is so cute and the energy in here is welcoming. Service is personable and friendly; love supporting a family-owned spot like this!!! We stopped in for a sweet treat and it did not disappoint. I got the cookie dough in a cone and it was perfect. My husband got the mint chocolate in a dish, and it literally tastes exactly like a York peppermint patty, sooo good. 10/10 recommend. Definitely gonna be back! read more

Cute ice cream spot with a pop of color. Their menu is limited yet good. I sampled few of their flavors and the owner was very generous with the samples. I got the orange pineapple in a waffle cone and it was very refreshing, more like a palate cleanser. I went for another scoop a little later. This time it was blueberry cheesecake. This was good as well. Very welcoming atmosphere and they have inventive creations like nachos & rolled ice cream. Also, they don't take tips. I will be back! read more

We decided to check out this little jewel box of an ice cream shop, and I'm glad we did! The inside is beautiful, with some indoor seating, and there are plenty of outdoor tables and Adirondack chairs for those warmer days. It's a family owned business run by a husband-and-wife team. When we visited, we met the husband, who was there with an employee he seemed to be training both very friendly and welcoming. We actually found out about this place through Instagram and a local news feature, so naturally, we had to check it out. It's tucked away toward the quieter end of Park Avenue, which makes it feel even more like a hidden gem. We stopped by on a warm October weekend. I initially thought all the ice cream was house-made but turns out it's Perry's. Not a deal-breaker, but a little "meh" moment. That said, they were actually making some fresh ice cream during our visit, and the owner even brought us a sample and it was delicious! I ordered a banana split, which was made just as expected. Since it was the employee's first time making one, I didn't fuss though part of me was hoping for a few more bells and whistles (maybe I'm just spoiled by Margie's Candies back in Chicago). It could've been prettier, but it still hit the spot. Overall, the ice cream was tasty, prices were fair, and the vibe was lovely. I do wonder how they'll do during the colder months maybe a collaboration with a local small-batch ice cream maker would be fun? Street parking available. Give them a whirl 4.5 outta 5! read more

Super cute shop on the less busy part of park Ave. ice cream is creamy. There are about 10-12 flavors and many different ways to try them. We came in on a day they were giving free scoops but I would love to come back to try the ice cream nachos or one of the sundaes read more

When you walk in the door you can feel the passion and love put into this place. It was fun to feel the excitement when asked if we want to try the new items that came in! I was sold the moment I heard oat and dairy free then it came with peanut butter and cookie my husband got a waffle cone and his go to EVERY TIME cookies n cream. My man made the comment immediately about the texture and temperature of the ice cream. It was perfect. Not so cold that they can't even scoop it and not so soft that you have to eat it so fast you get brain freeze and it's all over your hands. We were lucky enough to be there while the owners and family were there. They were all enjoying as well. I really want to try the Affogato next with the espresso. As far as the location goes it's perfect on the corner of Park and Colby so it's quieter and easier parking. It's only half a mile from Jines in relativity. We will be back. Good job guys read more
