It's a tragedy that it's not more popular and beloved with the kids of the region. A lot of people go to the Perry's places because those people are suckers for brand names and don't understand the concept of homemade and local ice cream. Anyone can sell buckets of Perry's. The woman at Cruiser's was telling me how, because they cost a few cents more than the Perry's places (because they make all their own sh** and don't even make much of a profit on it), people complain about the prices. Some in our group went with classic scoops, but we opted for the Ice Cream Nachos, which turned out to be outstanding. You choose your scoops, and they're served over delicate, crisp pizzelles and drizzled with sauces.
