    Chocolate Sorbet (Dairy-Free)
    Mia T.

On a busy street in Southwedge, so there's only parallel parking available. Small shop with excellent small batch ice cream. I tried the chocolate sorbet which was so decadent and rich, highly recommend if you're a chocolate fan. I would definitely come again to try the other flavors

Stoped by for some ice cream to end out my Friday night! The location is right off the Main Street so parking can sometimes be a little variable but is usually pretty easy to find. Walked into the store front which is pretty small so if you have a large group probably going to be a tight fit! Their menu isn't too large which I like as it makes the decision easier and suggests quality over quantity. They do offer taste spoons which is nice (they also use metal spoons for this which we love - go sustainability) I personally ordered the truffle chunk ice cream, it was rich and had really large chunks in it which to me makes for the best ice cream The price for a kiddie is $3, small is $5, and large is $7 which is a little expensive but I don't mind supporting a local business!

The ice cream was so good!! I got the s'mores and the chocolate sorbet. Both of them were winners! The staff were both very nice, especially when I took a peek into their chocolate store too & the guy working gave great suggestions. We came at a busy time for the ice cream so it was a bit crowded since it's such a small space. It's well worth it though!

The only complaint I have is the place is waaayy too small but otherwise, super cute, friendly staff and the carrot cake ice cream was actually some of the best ice cream I ever had before (waffle cones made in house)

Really good ice cream with very unique flavors. They focus on quality over quantity, and it shows. Tip: check new flavors on their instagram because they frequently run unique flavors for a short time, such as collaborations during local festivals.

Lavender lemongrass and funnel cake ($4 for two flavors)

Finally made it here! I've been excited to try their unique flavors for so long. There were six flavors to choose from when we went, I think. I couldn't settle on just one (of course) so I went with lavender lemongrass and funnel cake ($4 for two flavors, I think a "small", but my friend had one flavor and that was $3 so I'm not sure). It was a good amount of (homemade) ice cream for the price and bonus points for the bamboo spoon! I loooooved the lavender lemongrass and thought the funnel cake was just okay, but I'm not a huge funnel cake fan to start with and the chunks were kinda big. A waffle cone was pretty standard at $1 extra and you could smell/see (the waffle irons all lined up) how fresh they are! Toppings are also $1 each which is a little steep but they have some unique ones. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors!

This was our second visit here. The first time, we had the best chocolate ice cream ever. Today, only a non dairy version was available, so we passed. Expect a small selection of flavors (6-8). We had truffle ice cream which only had a minimum of ice cream in order to hold together the almond, pistachios, and actual smashed up chocolate truffles (they have a chocolate store next door). While I love nuts in my ice cream, there was too little ice cream and too much space taken up by truffles, delicious as they were. Small shop, with room only for a few folks to eat their ice cream inside. Plan on taking it to go.

Dual-purpose spot-- part ice cream shop, part chocolate store! Featuring just a few flavors due to their small-batch creation, everything is made to perfection. The location is really fun too, there's a lot to do nearby so it's nice to start a night out here, or end!

This place is sooooo good. They cycle through flavors. I tried the Coconut Passionfruit with Truffle chunks in sweet cream and the carrot cake. I know, wildly different flavors but both were delicious!!! The shop itself is pretty tiny, but there is a nice outdoors area a couple of doors down that you can enjoy your ice cream at. The staff is wearing masks, there is hand sanitizer, and they have distance between where the kiosk is and where you pay. There is plenty of street parking available on the road. I definitely recommend coming here, we loved the ice cream!!

A rotating slate of lovely flavors in this cute shop

The best chocolate sorbet in the world is right here in Rochester, and I am so glad that I found this place!

The shop itself is charming, and the outdoor seating is even better -- picnic tables, comfy chairs, and a glowing fire pit that makes the whole space feel cozy and inviting, especially on a summer evening. Inside, they offer some truly amazing treats. The flavors are bright, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical ice cream shop. Staff were friendly on both of our visits and helped guide us through the options. We haven't yet been able to try their signature rolled ice cream -- once due to an anti‑griddle issue, and once because they were out of a specific cream needed -- but fear not, there were plenty of other excellent choices. Some in our group went with classic scoops, but we opted for the Ice Cream Nachos, which turned out to be outstanding. You choose your scoops, and they're served over delicate, crisp pizzelles and drizzled with sauces. We picked Cinnamon Roll and Banana Cream Pie scoops, both bursting with flavor and leaving us simply smiling. The finishing drizzle of pancake syrup tied everything together beautifully. Service was extremely friendly and prompt, and the outdoor seating made the experience feel relaxed and fun. This review reflects two separate visits, both of which were excellent. Frost & Foundry has quickly become our new favorite ice cream shop, and we'll definitely keep coming back -- hopefully soon enough to finally try that elusive rolled ice cream too.

The owner scooped up our treats himself and was so friendly and chatty. We had a big group- we have seven kids- but he was quick and efficient. The real star, though, was the ice cream. Everyone was thrilled with their choices and practically licked the dish. I had the peanut butter chip yogurt and it was divine.
