One family size and one large pizza, 8 piece chicken with spuds. Spuds were akin to cardboard and the chicken was way over cooked. Could not eat either. Pizzas were cold and hard. After all these years being a customer my whole family were very let down and on top of it all it was my 8 year olds birthday. VERY expensive. Scratch another Roseburg restaurant. read more

Abby's is once more a local company. I have noticed an improvement since it was returned to local ownership. To me it seems everything is better. The quality of the food is better and the service is better. We have been eating Abby's pizza since it was opened by Abby and Skinny in 1964. Right now I think it is as good as it's ever been and I am happy about that. If you haven't had Abby's in a while I recommend you try it again. It reminds me of the good old days. read more

I placed an order online, it was easy to do so and I love that there was an option to pay cash for carry out. My confirmation said it would be ready in 20 minutes, and when I arrived, the pizza was just coming out of the oven. As you can see, it looked delicious and it was! I ordered from abbys on diamond lake and my pizza was burned,when I called them it was a battle to get it replaced.

what happened to Abby's quality? I just had chicken and spuds delivered and it was awful. everything was chewy and tasted like old grease. I don't normally complain but it's been the last three times I've had bad food from there. I was hoping my timing was bad and it was just bad luck that I got bad food but 3 strikes and your out. bummer, because they used to be my favorite for pizza and chicken and spuds. very sad to see their downhill slide read more

Ordered through Door dash, really good thin crust pizza ( sauce was delicious) I also ordered a small spuds omg!! Crissspy I love it!! I will definitely order the next time I'm in roseburg. Love Abby's Pizza! Been visiting this chain since I was a kid. My parents would take my sister and I to a location in Oregon City every Friday night. We loved watching them make the pizzas through the huge glass windows. Great memories! Unfortunately that location closed years ago, but whenever I see an Abby's Pizza while traveling, I always stop in! My husband and I called for delivery while passing through town on a road trip returning from the Redwoods. I called my order in because I wasn't sure if they had a minimum for delivery. The lady told me $20. There was only 2 of us, so I hoped our small two topping pizza would qualify. She accepted it since it was close enough with the $3 delivery fee. It was a total of $16, with a $5 tip to the delivery driver. We were over the moon for the motel room delivery and the always delicious pizza! They also supplied us with paper plates, napkins, dipping sauce, red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese! What awesome service! We were extremely happy with the service and quality of food. Super greasy food. So if you want to clean your bowels, this is the place to go. When my family and I went the place was super filthy, bathroom was super smelly, toilet paper all over the floor. Service was just ok. Definitely has changed in 20 years for the worst. read more

Fun for kids as they can watch the pizza getting made with the unique layout they have - centralized cooking area with glass windows. The pizza is always spot on! Hard to go wrong with any of the following: Spuds - Thick slices of Idaho potatoes. Good enough to be a meal themselves. Now featuring Original, Cajun and Parmesan flavorings! - You have to go with the large order, they are really addicting! Also, dip them in salsa for the best experience. Abby's Special - Stacks of warm salami, Hormel pepperoni, beef and sausage smothered with olives, mushrooms and another layer of 100% real cheese - Obviously the only way to order this is without the mushrooms. Hard to beat the traditional Abby's Special. Taco Especialé - Beef or Chicken - Packed with your choice of beef or chicken and onions, olives, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and lettuce. An amazing taco on a pizza you won't forget. I'm guessing it would be good with chicken, but honestly have only had it with the beef. I've tried to mimic this one over the years (and have come close) - but nothing beats the fresh warmth of the pizza and hot ingredients with the added cool taco toppings to finish it off (lettuce and tomato). Absolutely Ridiculous! I called the Diamond Lake location to order delivery, and they told me that I cannot order from them as I am in the Stephens locations area. So I called Stephens, and they tell me I am in the Diamond Lake stores area. I live right off of Winchester street, but neither store will come here. I used to work for this company at Diamond Lake, and I know for a fact where the stores delivery areas are. NEVER AGAIN! read more

This place just dropped way down on my list because they've eliminated their salad bar. That was the best lunch value in town. They also don't have Wi-Fi, which means if I want to come in here on my lunch break I can't keep up with work while I'm here. One employee I talked to blamed it on covid, but I don't believe that. You can't get covid from Wi-Fi. read more

Mediocre pizza..not at all worth the money...domino's is better, Old soul is so far top notch

There are a lot of these around (35) the area, but none of them are really near me, so when I was driving up I-5 yesterday, I took advantage of seeing one of their locations, and stopping in for a take-out pie for my ride. Can't really say what town it was in, Southern Oregon somewhere, just off the Interstate, and it was lunchtime, they were doing a fairly brisk business, two women behind the counter, seemed to be a little overtaxed work wise, but nonplussed all the same. They took my order with a good attitude, and were kind enough to caution me the cooking time might be a little longer than usual, which was fine with me. They had a salad bar, but I was surprised at their not being a lunch buffet, so popular with so many of the pizza chains these days. The salad bar has the usual assortment of items we have grown used to seeing at pizzerias. I generally don't like pizza buffets, the last one I was at, every single pie seemed to have pineapple on it - not a favorite topping of mine. I went with a medium thin crust Ultimate Meat, which includes Italian Sausage, Linguica, Pepperoni, Canadian Style Bacon, and extra cheese. After the required amount of prep and cooking time (no idea how long, I was doing a crossword puzzle), they called my name, and off I went. It's a good pie, better than most chains, and Abby's are more than generous with toppings. The pie is thin enough to have a bit of "New York hang", but no "slide" which is a good thing (when you pick up a piece, the toppings don't end up on your plate. There was plenty left by the time I reached home, and Mrs. Burgerdogboy pronounced it great, and she usually doesn't care about pizza one way or another. I asked her what she liked, and I saw her scanning her brain for the word - she said "the dust". I said "cornmeal?" "No, the meat crumbs - debris!" (Debris is a New Orleans food term.). What she was saying, between the toppings is there is a lot of small crumb bonus meat, which she liked. Abby's sauce is a bit sweet than most, but all in all, this pie is a winner. $20 for the medium. I would add the joint to my regular circuit if the closest one wasn't 50 miles away. Their menu is online, but their website is not nearly as good as their pizza. They are also on FB, but apparently not Twitter. read more

I had to visit the area over 6 days spanning Labor Day weekend. I was staying by Umpqua. I Found the Sullivan location serves one of, if not, the best breakfast in the Umpqua region. I had breakfast there twice and would have more days if they weren't forced to be closed because of no available employees. Outstanding traditional breakfast. I ate at the Roseburg location 3 times for dinner. One time with a small Abbey's special pizza, which was very good combined with a crispy Caesar salad. The next 2 times were the broasted chicken. Awesome, and also very good! I ordered extra crispy tators and loved every bite. I ate very well and also enjoyed it as you can tell. The employees were magnificent. Every wish fulfilled. The chef on my first night was also a big Pink Floyd fan. That garnered me extra goodies! And very importantly is they also have very cold good beer! read more

For me, the best pizza ever!! Original crust is my favorite. Great toppings, all the standards. They sell spuds which the kids and wife love, but give me the pizza! And have a buffet at times. I run a residence with 12 occupants. We decided to order pizza for delivery. We usually go through another pizza company because they have pretty good pizza with a great price and quick delivery. This time we decided on Abby's Pizza, I ordered online. I requested the crust to be well done; but not burnt. I was surprised that our order was over $60!! That is about $20 over what we normally pay with the other pizza place and we have less pizza!!!!!! It took around a hour and 15 minutes for the delivery. When I opened the boxes (of 3 pizzas) I discovered the bottoms of all 3 pizzas were burnt black and none of my residents would eat it. I was out the $, the food and patience with Abby's!! read more

We stopped in for a bite due to a recommendation. I have to say the food was great!! Fresh salad bar options and clean. Many options for building a salad. Loved the freshness. Friendly staff was all around wonderful. We ordered to go for our long drive and there was a delay. Chelsey handled the issue very quickly and we were very happy with her attentiveness to our satisfaction. The Sicilian pizza was amazing. I was very disappointed with our visit to this Abby's pizza location. We have been here once before and I didn't remember it being this bad! The salad bar was okay. Seemed clean and well stocked. (Although a man right before us took so much chopped eggs he spilled them all over the counter and floor.) but the pizza we ordered was gross! It had paper-thin hard pepperoni, on a greasy thin pizza. Our 4 year old granddaughter wouldn't even eat it! The plates looked like they borrowed them from a kids kitchen play set, and the fork was dirty. Don't think I want to come back next time we visit roseburg. If I remember the one in Winston was better. Maybe we will give that location another try. read more

I've certainly had better....and, yes I've had worse. But, I can say it was convenient cuz they delivered it to the hotel we were staying at. The white sauce on the sicilian was minimal, and their pizza crust was thick as advertised but not very tasty. But, then again ... what do you expect for "fast food" pizza. read more

Even though I gave the Diamond Lake location 5-stars, I am giving this one 4. The Stephens location is often dirtier (not gross by any means) and it seems to always take longer. This may be due to the fact that they are busier at this location. The rest of my review is pretty much the same: I have eaten at Abby's at least once a year for the past 30 years. It's a treat I always look forward too - especially if I time it right for the Smoked Pepperoni special. They have great crust, Pepperoni that's made just for them, good sauce and cheese coverage/ratio. Abby's are usually clean and very child friendly. The staff has always been nice too. And while I've heard people complain that they are expensive, I say they are not. They are a few steps above the chain places. Abby's offers coupons and specials galore, and the price per person is pretty darn cheap. They've got some great fried potatoes too! -- My standard rating disclaimer: I rate places as compared to other similar places. In other words a hot dog cart or taco stand can easily be five-stars when compared to other carts and stands. read more
