DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE THEY ARE OPERATING WITHOUT A BUSINESS LICENSE. Zero stars aren't an option so they received 1. This company is unethical and are complete liars. They allowed my vehicle to get stolen while in their possession. They refused to give me insurance information. I took them to small claims court and they literally lied under oath. Told the judge they fixed my convertible top which they completely broke and produced a receipt for work they never completed. My convertible top frame is cracked due to their negligence and instead of being honest business owners they felt it was better to lie. Shameful THEY SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS!! read more

Two thumbs way up to ABC Upholstery Vacaville, CA. Shop's a little off the beaten path on the last exit out of the city (eastbound). But don't let that deter you. Upholsterer-extraordinaire Curt was my point man. He re-did the carpeting on an older SUV that I recently acquired. And also rebuilt my driver's seat that was beginning to sag badly. He's really skilled at what he does...and did I also mention fast?! He had a pretty involved job done in 1 day. They also specialize in boat and maritime-related upholstery needs. Check 'em out. I have a 2018 Ford Ext Cab. I did not buy it with leather interior but then decided to have the interior upgraded. ABC was able to upgrade the carpet to leather. Also I asked if there was some type of soft rubber flooring I could install that would allow dog hair removal easier and anti mud. They installed a nice full floor cover under entire interior. My request was to have it over original carpet, and they were still able to make it look good and fit snug. I recommend them, forgot the before pics, but posted the after. read more

ABC is going to be my go to for anything upholstery related. Brought them my sisters 1992 240sx because we had a spare top that needed to go on. Called, brought the car so they could inspect, and gave me a solid quote with a quick timeframe. Dropped off the car a day later and picked it up the following day. Top is looking good, so far we can't move the top because it needs to conform to the chassis, but its tight. Top is having a hard time moving because of the newly installed top, they recommended to leave it down for 2-3 weeks and let it stretch. Overall I'm truly happy with what I paid, best pricing I've found from San Jose through Sacramento and to find out they're local. They know what they're doing. These dudes aren't very computer savvy because they're straight up hard workers. I brought my E36 M3 for a quote for the seats and top, solid prices bit I gotta find the material since I'm running Recaros, but they said if it can be done, we can do it. I look forward to getting what I want done, definitely hit them up if you need upholstery work. read more

I barely got past go here. I called in to ask a few questions regarding a repair. They were rude, unresponsive and totally unprofessional. So I thought maybe they are busy and I should stop by. They skimmed over said someone would get back to me and of course it took 2 weeks. I was asked if I was looking to sell my car and when I said no they seemed not as interested in "helping " me.. seemed more interested in helping themselves to my vehicle. My wife and I are tall people who drive a lot for a living and have trouble fitting into standard car seats which are made to be too narrow with "side bolster pads" that cause us pain. We took our minivan to Gary at ABC and he expertly cut down the offending pads, replacing them with a softer material. Lastly he took a leather slip-on car seat cover we brought and attached it to the top of the new seat so that it basically looks like its the actual seat cover. Best and last of all - the "new" car seats he created are the most comfortable we have ever sat in - giving even, firm, support across the entire seat. I would give ABC uphostery 6 stars if I could. We are going to bring our other car in to have the same work done!!! read more

I brought my $65k high end luxury vehicle to this establishment a few weeks ago because I needed some minor interior work done... I was approached by a "man" that said "how can I help you?" HE COULD HAVE SAVED MY TIME AND HIS IF HE WERE A REAL MAN... Now after I show him the MINOR things I needed fixed... He fixed his mouth to recommend that if I wanted to save some money, I could get BLACK SPRAY PAINT for one part of a RECARO leather seat and that his "establishment" could not fix the other part... Or he would charge me $400 to fix a one inch tear in the Recaro leather if I didn't want to do the spray paint... Recap: I pulled up in 2014 $65k vehicle, maybe my skin tone said cheap, because I don't believe the vehicle did... If you have a good amount of melanin stay away from this joke of a business... read more

Kurt took the call and confidently told me he'd make me a seat for my 1981 Suzuki GS 1100 after telling him the year, make and model. I told him what I wanted and he was perfectly OK with it. I asked for diamond stitching on the seat and it cost $50 extra. He seemed to have a lot of material to choose but I just wanted black. You will benifit if you know what color already. The turnaround time on the bike seat was fast enough. 5 days. I took longer. They were cool. The seat is a solid good job. Pickup and payment went fine with Kurt. We are still getting to know one other but I am planning on bringing my next project here. They are competent and seem to have integrity. read more

Great business with super friendly owner and staff. I brought in my 1958 Edsel Pacer to have both the seats completely redone using the original and non replaceable fabrics and reproduction vinyl from SMS auto upholstery supply in Oregon. Also, the wind lacing and carpets were installed and they even corrected the unfinished Just Dashes replacement by the previous owner. Using all the new/vintage materials and some of the older vinyl that was not found, they put everything back together just like the original... perfect in every way. This is a 10 point restoration, rebuilding the seats completely from the bottom up. Their motto is if there is something that is not right, just let us know and we will correct the situation. How could you ask for anything better than that? When all done everything was completely and absolutely perfect in every way and their professionalism is right on! I went to this shop about a month and a half ago to get an estimate on my wife's car because the front passenger seat has a tear on the lower cushion. I went to this place because I've seen the reviews and they were on the positive side but of course you'll get a few bad ones. I said what the heck, you can't make everybody happy and went there anyway. I've visited other car upholstery shops and they said they couldn't find my particular leather pattern for my wife's car and I should buy the leather at the dealership and bring it back their shop to have them install it. I've never in my life heard that you can buy leather pieces from a dealership. Well I gave it a shot, gave the dealership a call and of course they don't sell pieces of leather! I would have to buy the whole lower cushion which costs $$$$. By the way, she drives a 2010 Lexus ES350. Anyways to make a very long story short I went to ABC and they looked at my car and said they can do it. They gave me an estimate and I was surprised because it was way under from what I was expecting. I was really happy with the quote and very impressed with the quality of work on the cars I've seen in there garage which were mainly "old school" cars. Well then he said, I forgot his name but seemed like a cool guy guy, told me he would give me a call within a week once he gets the part in. I've called twice already to check if the part came in. The first time he said it hasn't arrived yet which was 2 weeks after the visit and the second time was today because my wife reminded me about her torn seat getting worse and they still didn't have the part in. He mentioned it was shipping from the east. He then tells me he'll give me a call back in an hour to check on the status of my order. Well what do know, no call AGAIN! At this point I'm probably going to give up on these guys because they keep giving me the run around saying this and that. This was going to be my wife's Mother's Day present (yes it's been that long) from me but I guess I'll have to seek another option. I don't really like giving bad reviews but I felt like I had to because I've been patient way too long. It's just too bad because I wanted to have work done on my car next after they finished my wife's car and show off their craftsmanship to my friends and family but that's not going to happen anymore. For me, customer service should be a priority when it comes to running a business. You can have the best craftsmanship in the world but if your business lacks customer service, then I would rethink your whole game plan. read more
