We've been customers of this business since 2020. That says a lot for supporting a local entity given that Covid put numerous companies out of business. Well today they just lost three regular customers based on poor attitude and price gouging. That adds up to approximately $300.00 that they lost -- and we're NOT coming back! In 2020, they didn't charge $10.00 to reset the oil maintenance light. They now charge for the simple service (10 seconds) for a Dodge Ram pickup and one of the staff gave a weak excuse that they charge for all vehicles regardless of the make and model. As I said, they didn't charge for this service in the past and suddenly, they slap it on the invoice. Another weak excuse is that their computer program is set that way and there's no way to back out the entry. Wow, blame it on the software now! By the way, we had an exhaust manifold removed and replaced. Nonetheless, it's still making noise! ($609.00!) read more

Very friendly staff. Kept me updated on the progress of my car. When my husband and I came to pick up our vehicle our daughter locked us out of the car we drove there in with her still being in the car. This was very overwhelming to us because it was a warm day and the temperature was increasing outside(even warmer inside the car) and she started to cry knowing we were raising concern with her being stuck inside. The owner helped us open the door with the tools he had with no charge to us! My son brought his truck for repairs to Midway because they were recommended by a good friend of ours. He said that they are a good shop but their cost for repair is high. Even with that, I told my son to go ahead and take it to them. The service advisor informed him that the estimate for repairing the heater core is $1300 , a bit steep but reasonable so he went ahead and authorized the repair. When he went over to pick up the truck, the bill jumped to $2,300! He wanted to get more detail about it but he was rushed out because the shop was closing. The original estimate and repair were done. However, there were additional work that was done to the truck without my son's authorization. Before doing that, the service writer should have called him to inform him of the additional repair and potential increase in cost. I wouldn't be writing this negative feedback if they did this. Bottom line, the work was done and the repairs are satisfactory. However, the shop should have been more upfront about the additional cost of the repairs. Customers beware! This review is long over due. I first went to this shop in 2018 to have my Honda Civic muffler replaced. A guy with the cowboy shoes tells me the cost will be $250, with out looking at the car or his computer. I left and did not come back. Thanks to Youtube i discovered that the muffler is only held by to bolts and a anchor hook. Total price for muffler $40, unscrewing the bolts 10mins. In 2019 i've taken my car here for another estimate to remove the mufflers and replace it with a 16" straight pipes instead. The guy who wears the stupidest cowboy shoes came out and starts to tell me that it will cost over $800. Then I asked how long would it take, he looks underneath the car and tells me that there will be an additional $100 for each anchor (4" metal) to hold the pipes. I looked at him and pretended that i was interested and told him that i'll come back, which i never did. This shop is a rip off!!! For the price he quoted me, i instead bought a welding kit from Harbor Freight and pipes from Pepboys and I did the entire job myself for lower cost than cowboy shoes quoted me. My total cost $80 for welding kit and $20 for exhaust pipes at Pepboys. read more

This is my second review for this shop let me start off by saying if you don't go to this shop to get your car needs taken care of then your making a mistake. These guys are legit 100% honest and have taken very good care of all the cars I have had and at a very reasonable price. I myself work for a local non profit and we take our fleet vehicles here as well because Midway is the shit lets just keep it real here. Recently they replaced our gas tank in our fleet car because someone drilled a hole in it, it's no issue for Midway, they just got done with some under carriage damage to my GTO and they called up to have me come look at the damage I respect this because other shops would just tell you and possibly get over on you.
