I have taken her out of school only to be told she couldn't be seen. Now Rodeo wants me to redo the contract for the braces because she has to be seen every 6 months. The notes they put in the system is making it seem like we are the reason why she hasn't been seen in 6 months and that's not true. I see they notate in the system what they want in the system. So unfair. This place have become so unorganized and they are not taking responsibility for their errors. So disappointing. Her Orthodontist is great, but with what we have experienced this past year, it's simply not worth it at all.

Their office was conveniently located near my home, and initially the experience seemed positive. When I arrived, I was taken back for X-rays. The front desk representative and the X-ray technician were both very friendly and professional. The dentist then reviewed my X-rays and examined my mouth, telling me that my teeth looked great. What happened next was surprising. The dentist told me that the hygienist would come in to "look" at my teeth and determine what type of cleaning I needed. This immediately seemed unusual to me because I have not missed a routine dental cleaning in over 10 years. The only reason I was changing dentists was due to a recent insurance change. The hygienist then performed a gum measurement exam, probing around each tooth and calling out numbers. I had never experienced this before, so it caught me off guard. Afterward, she informed me that I had significant plaque buildup, bone loss, and that some of my teeth were in poor condition. She said this could be addressed during my cleaning and then left the room. Several minutes later, a front desk representative came in and informed me that my cleaning would cost approximately $700 because the only treatment they would provide was a deep cleaning. I explained that my insurance covers routine cleanings, but I was told that the hygienist would not perform a standard cleaning because my condition was supposedly too severe. Considering that the dentist had just told me my teeth looked great, and given my history of consistent dental care, this felt very contradictory and concerning. The entire experience came across as more focused on selling an expensive procedure than providing routine dental care. After leaving, I read other reviews describing nearly identical experiences, which only reinforced my concerns. Needless to say, I will not be returning. I would rather go back to my previous dentist and pay out of pocket than risk being pressured into costly treatments that may not be necessary. I would encourage others to do their research and seek a second opinion before agreeing to expensive procedures.
