The notes they put in the system is making it seem like we are the reason why she hasn't been seen in 6 months and that's not true. I see they notate in the system what they want in the system. So unfair. This place have become so unorganized and they are not taking responsibility for their errors. So disappointing. Her Orthodontist is great, but with what we have experienced this past year, it's simply not worth it at all.

Every visit consist of waiting for 45 -60 minutes in the waiting room followed by another 45 minutes in the exam room. I understand some days you can fall behind but this is on every visit. If you happen to ask the office staff they simply tell you there is no way to know when you will be seen. The dentists always give rushed exams and hardly interact with parents or patients. The cleanings are also rushed with the staff giving nothing more then a light brushing. I saw my insurance got charged for a fluoride treatment last time, but unless there is a way to do this without touching the teeth I'm pretty sure that never happened. On one particular visit I called the office 3 times to make sure my new insurance information was on file. When it came time to pay the bill, I was told my insurance was no longer valid and had to pay cash. They no record of my new insurance even though I had called 3 times and gave them my card when I checked in. There really is a lack of respect for patients overall. Parents have to take time off work and kids have to take time away from school to go to the dentist. A dental check-up should NOT take 4-6 hours.

So, I went back to them for a reevaluation and they did not see anything and attempted to file my upper tooth down thinking that was the issue. The sharp pain persisted and I LOVE MY CRUNCHY FOODS, so I decided to take a day trip to my Austin dentist and they performed these tests to see if my teeth were misaligned and they took a look, but found nothing again. Unfortunately, the pain persisted, so I googled another provider and came upon Dr. Hassid. Him and his staff are so friendly, personable, and accommodating. Being that I had a recent XR with my dentist in Austin, he waived that fee for me as a new consult as well and just had my Austin dentist email my XR results over to his office so he can evaluate it - saved me tons of $$. He ended up fixing my filling and thanks to him, it's now pain free for me to consume my favorite food texture again.

The dentist also talked me through what to look for when buying toothpaste and mouthwash, and provided scientific explanations for which products work best. The new patient/scheduling process is very smooth, as well. I simply filled out the new patient form online, got an email the next day from the office to schedule my appointment (which worked great for me, since I often can't take phone calls during the day), and was ready to go.
