We ended up coming home while they were there and paid them, but it was great service when it wasn't their fault we were under such time pressure to get it done.

We try not to kill or disturb animals if they are not causing harm or property damage. Then came the smell! We thought a bird died up there. Time to call the professionals. It was much harder to get someone to come out, let alone on the same day. I am SO glad I called Bloodhound Wildlife Management. Sam and the crew were awesome! They came out right away. They were professional, efficient, and honorable. Three things that are rare nowadays. I talked to them while they set up then went back inside. By the time I finished my first adult beverage, they were packed up, cleaned up, and all the birds were gone! You would have never known the birds, or Sam and his crew, were even there but for the broken eggs. They showed me pictures of the work they performed so that I knew everything was done. They set up bird spike so the birds wouldn't comeback. While they were very confident the birds were gone forever, they told me to call them back if the birds do and they will come out again. The repaired area matched the older surface exactly. I could not be happier with the project. It took a few days and was not cheap but I feel I got value for the money and a quality product. I have used the handyman service several times and have never been disappointed . They really stepped up when no one else did. Don't overlook ABC when you have a unique project. The arrived and quickly identified my issue and saw that what I was doing was treating it fine. There was only one additional thing for me to do, which they educated me to do. They told me there was no need to spray chemicals; no treatment was required. They were here maybe 5 minutes. They told me this was essentially a consultation. There would be no charge. Talk about a surprise! I could easily see a fee for showing up (like plumbers), but they were gracious. They said genuinely, they just provided me with some information. If I get frustrated with my efforts, there is a path they can take, but it's certainly not necessary now. They have gained a customer! Even though I'm not officially using their services right now.

Upon our return to town, I contacted the company to get a report on traps set and any rats found as no traps were visible at any point. They scheduled a follow up visit bt failed to show up. After multiple phone calls to find out what happened, they finally told me that they had been in a wreck and their truck was damaged. When they wanted to reschedule after no contact for close to two weeks, i told them to get lost. I do not believe any work beyond the initial inspection was ever attempted, let alone completed.

Then the leasing office told me that because they couldn't find the source of the mites, they didn't treat it. IT'S THEIR JOB TO FIND THE SOURCE!! Completely unacceptable judgement call. I did my own investigation today and found the source of the moisture mites, caused by poorly sealed caulking. It took only a few minutes and I figured it out. I'm not a professional was able to figure it out. So not only did they not investigate, they didn't treat, and then they lied about the work done. It seems this is a recurring pattern in the reviews here. I will be reporting them to my leasing office and if it's not resolved I will report them to the BBB. Do your jobs.
