We hired ABC to complete a small guest bathroom project. The project required demo of all existing items/materials and replacement of vanity, counter, sink, tub, toilet, floor/shower tile, sink/shower/tub fixtures, towel bars, exhaust fan, light fixture, and paint. We provided the mirror. What our contract with ABC reasonably stated would be a 2-3 week project became a 5-6 week project, due to ABC's poor workmanship and poor communications. Although only one demo should have been necessary for this project, ABC had to do two demos. ABC's initial shower wall and floor tile installation resulted in tiles installed at uneven heights (some high as much as 1/4 inch), uneven grout lines, tile edges exposed and chipped, and tile laid in the wrong pattern. Sometime around the time we alerted ABC to the poor quality work, the assigned Project Manager resigned from ABC, and we were told ABC's owner would take over as Project Manager. ABC's owner came to inspect the tile work, apologized, and said they would take care of it. Incidentally, the same worker who did the first tile installation also installed the new toilet, which leaked onto the bathroom floor, and the shower/tub hardware, which also leaked because "someone" had lost or accidentally thrown away an o-ring. The toilet and shower/bath fixtures had to be reinstalled anyway, after the second demo, but they are additional examples of poor workmanship. While I appreciate ABC's acknowledgement of the issue, had they property vetted their worker's skills, or done intermittent progress/quality inspections, this problem could have been avoided or at least minimized. With the initial demo and tile installation; the second demo; awaiting delivery of replacement tile; and the second tile, toilet, shower/tub fixture installation; we lost approximately three weeks, one of which (according to ABC) was spent trying to find an appropriate replacement o-ring for the shower/tub fixture. Another ABC worker installed our sink backwards (yes; you read that right), so that also had to be removed and reinstalled. Throughout project performance, ABC's poor communication with us was a constant problem. Most days, we had no idea when or if workers were coming to the house, and our requests for status and an anticipated plan to completion went unanswered, leading us to assume the project was constantly in limbo with no plan to completion. Most of our weekday mornings began with a text to ABC asking them if anyone was coming that day. Meanwhile, our guest bathroom was unusable. We hired professionals expecting professional performance, but ABC workmanship and communications were anything but professional. I do not recommend ABC for your remodeling project. read more

I have never written a review in my life, good or bad. This is my first time taking time to write a review, because the service was neither good or bad, but UGLY! If I did not do what I do for my day job, I would be designing homes. Perhaps, one day I still will. I have done numerous home projects in my house and something I personally enjoy and relish. Never have I experienced anything close to the service level provided by ABC Kitchen and Bath in Chantilly. Our first visit to their store in November was very pleasant and they promptly sent someone over to take measurements, lay out the scope of our master bath renovation and provide with a quote. After having a few other companies show up, we decided to give all-inclusive renovation project to ABC as they seemed like a home-run small business; very sincere in their approach. Just before leaving for our Christmas break in 2021, they sent someone to our home to get the contract signed and take 50% advance payment. Come January 2022, their responses became intermittent and from initially promising to start the project in Feb, they started providing a delayed start date. It was eventually on March 4, 2022, that the work began, with a guarantee, both on the contract and several verbal conversations that renovation will be fully complete in 4-6 weeks from start. Initial few weeks of the project, work went rampantly, until they started coming back to say things like our chosen quartz countertop (confirmed by them in writing) was no longer available and even a similar substitute would add another $3k to our costs, or that the faucet in our laundry room, that their workers broke would not be fixed by them. After initial 3 weeks of work, their workers started coming 1-2 times a week. There was no project management provided by them. Every morning we would start our day by sending them all a text, to which there was less than 10% chance of getting a response to even know if anyone was expected to show up that day. Between Fazil and Ahmet, both of who claim to be project managers on behalf of ABC, one may drop by for 5 mins and if asked about the next steps, they would put it on the other person, saying let me find out and get back to you, simply making us follow up 5 more times to only receive an unfavorable response. Come to find out later into the project that Fazil and Ahmet own their own company called ANF Designs, incidentally, which has the address as ABC!!!! You would expect for them to have a systematic schedule of work, expecting they do this every day, but no one seems to know or assure you of what is to happen next. Example, they ended up painting the bathroom first and then sent the electrician, who further dug holes all around the wall to pull wiring!!! We had to follow up numerous times to ensure basic things like faucet or sink or mirror was even ordered. In April 2022, their workers showed up may be 3-4 times in the entire month, leaving our entire house in a mess, full of dust. They have a lady called Stephanie, who is front desk admin and is equally dismissive of the fact that we are their customer. After prolonged frustration, we traced the two owners, Hakaan and Mustafa through the internet. They were both responsive, but at the end of the day you would realize that they are all involved and aligned internally. Only prompt emails or responses, we received were when they needed the next stage of their payment. In May 2022, an electrician came to work for 10 mins, without switches and lights. I saw him leave after 10 mins, to which he said he was going to home depot. After 2 hours of him leaving, I called the store asking when he was expected back and was told he wasn't coming back, he was done for that day! I have never experienced this level of incompetence. Ahmet is extremely rude and has no respect for you as a customer. I regret hiring this company to renovate my master bathroom and even though it looks more modern and new, I will never forget the angst and inconvenience this service caused us. I can write several more paragraphs about ABC, but keeping this succinct to ensure I am drawing your attention to the very end. Please do NOT hire ABC Kitchen and Bath for any kind of work. Finally, the bathroom finished, leaving many issues behind, that have me engaging other contractors to fix ABC's work! read more

ABC Granite did not measure for my granite countertops sufficiently. They only measured the front of the cabinets and not the back against the wall, therefore the granite was cut incorrectly. Our contractor had to do a lot of work for it to look right. Secondly, they didn't include brackets (that we paid for) underneath the island countertop and we had to call them back to reinstall the island granite. Thirdly, we are STILL waiting on the the interior trash bin cabinet. It's been four months and they keep telling us it's still on back order. At this point I just want my money back. I gave two starts because we do like the granite and the cabinets we ordered, goodPrice for the quality if you're willing to deal with their horrible customer service. *****UPDATE 2/8****** We still haven't received the trash can insert OR a refund. We have emailed and called numerous times with no response. It has been 6 months since our initial order. At this point, it's fraud. I will be filing a report with the BBB. read more

I purchased their ecowood dark kitchen cabinets with the suggestion of my contractor (Jalal Rooin, a.k.a Joe). The owner of ABC Cabinets (Mr. Mustafa) was super nice in the beginning and I thought that we hit the jackpot because he was always saying "I'm very honest person. I will never do this and that..." etc etc...also while during the talks he tried to get my contractors job saying that he will do a much better job. I ignored that and never told my contractor. Well...ABC cabinets delivered the product and my contractor (which highly recommended ABC cabinets) installed. Few months after I settled in my new apartment I start seeing stains that it looked like my cabinets where all touched up. I called my contractor he came and blamed ABC cabinets saying that is Mr. Mustafa's fault and I called ABC cabinets and they blamed my contractor. I still have not resolved the issue and just writing so if YOU are buying cabinets with them be aware that they will take your money your contractor will get a cut out of it and they will completely disappear. BASICALLY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!! They will blame your contractor even for the quality of the cabinets that they are selling...anyway...maybe is better for you to pay more and go with a more reputable company so this does not happen to you... read more

As an update to this review. Only after reading my review did I get a call back from the company. They finally came and added caulk to my countertop. I put my house up for sale and the inspector cited the caulk as insufficient to protect from water damage. What should've been a net plus on my home inspection and appraisal is a negative because they couldn't properly apply caulk to protect the wall. read more

It was a great experience working with ABC. Mary was very helpful, as was Michael. Mary worked with me until I found the right countertop and gave me samples, provided feedback, and was very clear on the pricing. Mustafa worked with me on placement of the seam to make it minimally obvious. The countertop pulls the whole kitchen together. I had seen ABC's ads and called on a lark to see if they really could give me something that worked at a lower cost when I couldn't find it elsewhere.
