The best part the lumber was paid for by the guy he was helping. I was in the building when the guy came in to pay for the lumber and I asked him why he paid for it after the guy was fired. He stated that the guy called or was called by his supervisor about taking some lumber destined for the scrap pile and was told not to worry about it but that he chimed in and said he would be out Wednesday to pay for it. The supervisor said not to worry about it. They just needed a couple of 2x4's to finish up so the neighbor could be taken to a doctors appointment the next morning. Just goes to show you how big egos get in the way of compassion. I'll refuse to support this company from now on.

The builder informed me that I had purchased the model "as is" and they would not remedy the problem. They referred me to 84 Lumber. After two phone calls 84 Lumber responded and took complete responsibility to repair the system to like new condition at no cost. They left one small item unfinished, but returned 3 days later with the last remaining finish piece to make the door look perfect. An admirable work ethic and knowledgeable work skills to finish the job properly.

(A friendly employee also suggested that we look into Lowes.com. Thanks, friendly employee!) The curtains are, again, mostly traditional to feminine and in the middling-to-high price bracket, but I saw several sales and a few more contemporary choices. As I know nothing about kitchen sets, I'll just say that they all looked nice and were only slightly confusing. My only complaint is that, being a warehouse store, many of the lower-importance items get somewhat scuffed or dirty. All but one of the indoor garbage cans were scuffed up in one way or another, but the selection there was small and didn't seem to move much. We went into the office, talked to Leighton and he helped us with giving us an estimate sheet. Went back out to the warehouse, and gave Daniel our estimate sheet that had everything that was required for the storage building. He helped us load everything we needed, and did it with no hesitation. It took about an hour to get everything we needed, and he never left us. Very impressed for it being our first time, and I will definitely go back in the future if I need anything.

The 2x8x8 is damaged exactly in the middle. It looks like pallet was dragged across concrete - ends of some boards have 1/3 thickness scraped off. Most expensive of the 3 companies I got quotes from.
