Went here because my regular seamstress was unavailable. Walked in and the place smells like mildew...I changed into the dress that I wanted taken in and I stand in front of a mirror that's out in the open in front of the entire store. He takes chalk to mark the dress where he is going to take it in. I'm no seamstress but this doesn't provide for accuracy for what is obviously very important. Needless to say the markings and technique were inaccurate and now a dress I planned to wear to Mexico but not wearable because it is now too small. Thank goodnesses it was tapered in a way that could be let out and my regular seamstress can fit and measure me properly. I gave them two starts because they did perform a service and it was ready for me at the designated date. Poor work though. read more

Been going to.this establishment for years and have always been satisfied.. Alterations always nice and not a long wait time....

Brought in a couple items for repair and they did it on the spot. About 10 minutes. Total charge? $2. Can't beat that. OK, second time there. I got a few things dry cleaned. Was to be ready by noon, showed up at 5 PM and one of the items was not on the premises. Needed it right then, so I was in trouble. Proceeded to overcharge me (which I pointed out and they corrected), then they handed back someone else's credit card (which I handed back). A disaster of an experience. A little lazy. Dropped my items to be tailored, did a fitting, was told to come back 5 days later. When I came 6 days later they were still working on my clothes. I got home and realized they didn't even work on one of the garments I asked them to tailor. Had to drive back for them to do it again and they still did it incorrectly. I'm giving this place a 3 because it's a family business and the work is decent but I personally won't be returning for any reason again. read more

All I can say is...DON'T, find another tailor. The lady at the window is extremely rude and neither her or the owner understand the definition of customer service. They will delay your order due to broken equipment and then not even offer a discount, all they do is rudely give you a later date to pickup. When the rude lady at the window called to tell me their equipment was broken, she was not even apologetic for the inconvenience and got mad that I asked for a discount and began yelling at me. She called me back and left a voicemail telling me that they were not going to complete my order and to bring the card I made the purchase with for a refund. When I arrived for the refund, the rude lady didn't even know she could not do a refund on a debit purchase so now I had to be further inconvenienced and come back over an hour later to pick up a check for the refund. When I came back for the check, the owner was not even apologetic, he was as rude as the lady at the window. Like I said at the beginning, just don't. There are plenty of other tailors that would love and respect to have the business. read more

I took a bridal dress to be altered. They had the dress for a week. When I picked up my dress, it smelled like mildew. Contacted the store & they said it wasn't from their store but you can smell the musty smell as soon as you walk into the store. I didn't notice it at first but it was overwhelming when I walked in. I asked to be reimbursed for the cleaning & the owner wouldn't reimburse me. Don't use this place unless you want your clothes to smell like mildew. read more

I made the mistake of letting these tailors do more than a pants hem. I allowed them to shorten a suit coat. The result was ridiculous. I brought it back and the results were slightly better. It was still crooked and it just didn't hang correctly. The owner's solution was to close the vent, which was totally unacceptable. Ruined my coat. I also had previously brought a suede jacket for alterations with below average results. The bottom line is - if you need your pants hemmed, they're OK (no jeans though if you want to roll them one time as the end of the seam wasn't sewn down). Anything more complex - stay far away. read more

Took four pair of pants to ABC Tailors in order to have the waist taken in on each of them. One pair of pants was ruined because the person who open the shop did not proper identify on the scraps of paper she used as receipts that the sides would need to be taken in as well. (She mentioned it to me but I guess that was supposed to take care of it). Instead of doing nothing because of the alleged confusion or contacting me to clarify the situation (phone number was on the scrap receipt), the owner (who did the tailoring mess himself) ruined the pants and returned them to me without saying a word. The owner took so much material out from the back that the rear pockets were 2 inches apart. (These pants were part of a suit, which I now have to donate to Goodwill). The hem was uneven and the belt loop nearest the hem was crooked. Instead of immediately acknowledging that he screwed up, he blamed his employee (who he hired unless she somehow gained access to his business to pretend to be a tailor). DO NOT take your clothes to ABC Tailor. (There is no way to give a negative star). However, if you dislike someone that strongly, tell me about this place. read more

We have been going to Eric and his staff at ABC Tailors for over 13 years. ABC Continues to do quality work. They always take care of your needs. They really want you to look good in your clothes. They have altered many shirts for my husband and hemmed countless pants. There are other tailors in the area. But we continue to still go here after several store moves. The customer service and this place is the absolute worst! I really drop some pants off to have tailored and told her they would be ready within a few hours, that was 4 days later! I explain to the owner that I needed the pants for New Year's eve and he advised they would be ready before then. New Year's eve I went by the business twice to check to see if the pants are ready they were not. The owner advised that he would call me when the pants are ready before the end of the day because he knew I needed them for New Year's Eve, that call never came through. I arrived at the business because it was supposed to close at six, @5:55, lo and behold it was closed. I called the owner on the number listed on the door he advised that he already left and then he could not return in that I will need to come back the next day! Knowing that I needed the pants in the years eve he advised that there was nothing he could do and he was sorry the pants were Not ready anyways and he had other things he needed to attend to. I waited to pick the pants up later in the week since there was no rush once I arrived at the location the pants still were not ready. Horrible service read more
