Gorgeous trees and amazing family service here at Cozzolinos Christmas Trees. Come down for a great time with the kids picking your tree!

We had a great morning at Cozzolino's Christmas Trees. It's a family run business and the team is super helpful and attentive. Tony baled and tied the tree to our car. Lots of fun for the kids too ! The tree lot is also fully lit- so if you're coming in the late afternoon or early evening you can still pick from the gorgeous selection.

The selection of trees is impressive. Our kids enjoy visiting and taking photos there every year

My family loves Cozzilino's Christmas tree farm. Every year we look forward to visiting them to get our Christmas tree. They have the best selection of great quality trees that are reasonably priced. We always get a lot of good comments from our friends. Tony is very friendly and always makes buying a tree a fun family time for us! Thank you again tony! The noble fur smells so fresh! Happy holidays! Lily

This is our first holiday season in HMB and Cozzolino's made it perfect with their beautiful trees! Well worth the price too. The folks here are so nice we picked our tree, cut some imperfections off and tossed it on our car. The cash only thing isn't a big deal they have an ATM there you can use. Happy Christmas!

Great selection of trees! Got a noble fir that is about 5 feet tall and perfectly round and full. They trim the bottom, net it and very securely tie it to your car with their own twine. Worth paying more than Home Depot knowing it's supporting a local business, and all you have to do is literally just pick it out, they take care of the rest. We were asked if we had any questions in a very helpful and non pushy way. They only take cash and also accept tips! Will for sure come back for many more years to come!

In the past, Orchards was my go-to place for trees as they had nice trees, good customer service, reasonable prices, and close enough that it can be transported home via city streets. Unfortunately we all know they closed and I had to resort to Home Depot last year. With seasonal staff that is unfamiliar with tree care, they did not do a fresh 1 inch cut for us meaning it drank practically no water and in 2 weeks, it not only dried up but browning as well leaving me scrambling 10 days before Christmas which I was hosting for the first time. Traumatized by that experienced, I intended on cutting my own tree this year to ensure freshness but unfortunately the trees at the tree farm we visited was unpruned and even charge for netting. Dejected that we wasted our morning and the drive with no tree, I saw the sign for Cozzolino and immediately made a U-turn and pleasantly surprised to see that they opened a week earlier than the date on their website that I saw two days before. With a nice assortment of Nordemann and Noble Firs on display and new ones immediately added to replace ones purchased, they were so patient as I couldn't decide which of the two I wanted. Explaining the difference between Nordemann and Nobles, allowing us to understand how CA is hard for Nobles to grow due to the lack of water which is why theirs (except for the table tops which comes from them) are from Oregon. However, they go to the tree farm in Oregon and tag the ones they want so pretty much handpicking them for us. For the price on the tag, it includes a fresh cut, tax, netting, and securing to your car for you which the owner did for us himself. This year for a 6-7 is $85 and 7-8 is $105 and is cash only. Yes, it is more than Home Depot and the same price as the tree lots which you have to cut yourself but what you get in return is worth it. We wrapped the trunk with a wet towel for the 45 minute drive home and immediately put into a tree stand full of water upon arrival home. That night I noticed it was barely drinking any water bringing back memories of my experience last year. A bit freaked out, we called them an hour after they had already closed and they still answered the phone. We ask if that's normal since our trees in the past drank almost a gallon in the first few hours. They were so patient and explained that because when they get the trees here, they do a fresh cut and immediately put it in water themselves, the trees drank a lot of water the previous day so therefore not dry enough to need much, putting our mind at ease and to call if we have any problems or concerns. About 5 days into it, we noticed the tree was drinking more water when it needed it and 2 weeks later, so far so good. I highly recommend supporting a family establishment like Cozzolino where the owners are friendly, knowledgeable, and patient and look forward to giving them more of our business in the future and throughout the year as I saw they have a farm stand too.

The best tree we have ever gotten! In the past whenever we got a real tree, it would almost immediately drop needles all over the place and never "drink" any water from the pan. The tree from Cozzolino's was totally different. First, they fresh-cut the bottom of the trunk which I think helps the tree take up water. Then they put the netting on it and tied it to the top of our car for us. At home, we put it in a stand and have to water it every day because it takes up so much water - it looks completely fresh and green, not dry at all. The tree selection is amazing as well - we got a large tree but there are all different shapes and sizes. We will definitely be going there again next year. And it feels great to support a family business!

The owner, Tony, teaching my daughter how to measure a Christmas tree. Such a nice man!

Went to Cozzolino's to pick out our first real Christmas tree with my little girl. It was a great experience! The owner Tony was so nice, and patient. He even taught my daughter how to measure a tree. There was a lot of beautiful trees to choose from, and they sell stands there too (it was cheaper to buy it here than at home improvement stores). Tony gave the tree a fresh cut, netted it, and help put the tree in the car (I didn't want the tree on the roof). Since we went on a Tuesday morning, there was no one else there. Tony did mention this weekend will be the prime weekend.

Ask the Community - Cozzolino's Christmas Trees

What's the price range for a 6 ft tree? Do you still help secure the tree to car for free?

Not sure the price for a 6 footer but the 7-8 is $160 this year which includes tax and securing to the car.

He threw his cap at the floor, walked away from us at the register, and tried ignoring us to make us go away while there were others in line. I asked him not to raise his voice at us too. This was after he had charged us more than what was stated on the price tag of the bouquet. We paid it since wanted that bouquet in particular. This exchange overall felt very disrespectful. We had bought 10 peonies here for $67 dollars. The peonies here are $30 a bunch (5 pc). This is quite overpriced, as they are resold from another vendor. The quality of the flowers was also not great. One bunch of peonies had mold growing on it, meaning it had been there for awhile. We have bought fresher peonies at Whole Foods before. I don't recommend -- buying flowers here ruined my day, and that's the opposite point of buying flowers.

Just a few minutes from the coast, it's the kind of place that makes you slow down the moment you walk in. I went with a very sensible gardening mission: buy lavender plants to attract pollinators for my Meyer lemon and Bearss lime trees. Very practical. Very responsible. Nothing could possibly go wrong. Then I opened the door. The scent of fresh lavender was incredible. Not the artificial fragrance from candles or room sprays, but the real thing. The entire greenhouse smelled like a spa, and my quick errand immediately became a leisurely wander. The shop is beautiful, with healthy plants, gorgeous pottery, garden décor, lavender bath and body products, gifts, and more lavender varieties than I knew existed. I found myself comparing Provence, Phenomenal, Hidcote, French, Spanish, BeeZee Pink, and Burgundy like I was preparing for a horticulture exam. I eventually came home with two gorgeous plants, Provence and Phenomenal. Were they more expensive than the ones I could have picked up at Home Depot? Absolutely. Were they also fuller, healthier, and some of the most beautiful lavender plants I had seen? Also absolutely. The staff stayed quietly in the background, which worked perfectly for me because I didn't need help and could take my time looking around without feeling hovered over. I left with two beautiful lavender plants, a very happy new gardener's heart, and one clear expectation: The bees had better show up now.
