I Called ahead to scheduled routine GMC recommend service on my 2025 GMC Denali HD dually an oil change and tire rotation. I called because I have shown up to dealerships in the past and they could not perform a tire rotation on a dually. I was told on the phone they could rotate the outer four tires. I said ok that's fine. Drop it off. Get a text the next day that it was ready to pick up. The tires had not been rotated. We spoke to three service personnel. They could not perform the service because they could not just move the tires around on the rims. They have to remove them from the rim then remount them. If a dealership can't perform recommended service on a certain GMC vehicle models they should not be able to sell and make commission off that type of vehicle! I would like to note Jenny was understanding and helped as much as she could. read more

Service department lacking. Went in for first oil change and a warranty item within the first couple months of ownership. I did not purchase the vehicle at this dealership. Abeloff does not do same day oil changes if you didn't purchase the vehicle from them. Would not allow a loaner car without a diagnostic evaluation that could potentially be hours long. After spending over $100,000 on a brand new car I find this completely unacceptable. The service writer was rude and condescending and stated that the service manager doesn't allow loaners no matter how long it takes for diagnostic (translation, you didn't purchase the vehicle in our dealership so piss off). I understand why Abeloff has such a poor rating. This is the first GM dealership that I've been to that doesn't do same day oil changes, I guess I'm used to 5 star dealerships and not bottom of the barrel dealerships. This review is for the service department. I've been using GMC Service department for quite some time now to keep up the vehicle maintenance since I purchased it there years ago(Oil changes, Tire Rotation etc.) It appears that nearly every visit you have to hold your breath and hope that the Service Advisor doesn't inform you of additional maintenance needed. You can walk in this place with just a request for oil change then be told you need $500-$6,000 worth of work done to your vehicle. Last visit for a oil change and tire rotation, I changed my engine and cabin air filters a hour prior to arriving to the service area and also washed my vehicle at the car wash up the block. Also, before the visit to the service area I had no alert light on my dash, no engine light, no over heating or any other problems with my vehicle. My vehicle is garage parked with no signs of leaks on the floor. My vehicle runs quite smoothly on the road didn't give me any issues. The service advisors who appears to be new there informs me that my car needed all types of work like "I have a leak in my radiator, leak in a shock and they advise me to change the ENGINE AND CABIN FILTER - Repairs adding up to more than $5k. That let's me know, they never checked it out). I also know that when the Service Advisors are not giving you BS, they are charging nearly double for the GM Parts and that these Service Advisors are receiving a commission when they get you to agree to these extra services. So, if you're looking forward to dig deeper into your pockets just for a polite conversation with a pleasant service advisor, this is the place for you. You will be rolling the dice if you visit this service area for a inspection and expect to walkout passing without paying any extra, your vehicle would have to be brand new. It appears management is training the new service advisors to go for it all. The regular advisors whom been there for a while are familiar with certain customers and already know who not to BS. I have included a photos of the engine and cabin filters I changed a hour before the visit to the service station. I took these photos just to see if they were going to say they needed changing. A service appointment for my 2011 Enclave. I had one problem the check engine light was on and hear are the fault codes from the car computer. I need to have the check engine light problem corrected. After inspecting the problem service provides an estimate to repair over $5,000. I review the estimate and reply back with. Nothing on this estimate is for my repair request. After a negotiation the check engine light will go out after a $1019 tune up. I gave the OK for the tune up. New tires etcetera would not turn of the check engine light. Is the check engine light off, No. Are the same fault codes that I brought the car in for still present, Yes. I've called all the other local gmc dealers and none required these made up fees. also gm financial stated these fees are unwarranted!!!!! it stems from the 6000$ of equity that has accrued on my terrain which they are trying to steal. shame shame on you !!! In my lifetime so far i have bought and sold over 27 cars. this is the first time i ever had to go through with this with a dealership. Would NEVER use a dealer or dealership like this. I live in Florida and dealer is in Pennsylvania. We had a deal going over the phone and though email and text for a used car which started on Tuesday afternoon. I specifically asked if i needed to put a deposit on the vehicle and was never given an answer. Wednesday morning i called to asked some more general questions and about money since i already offered them a price and they turned it down. I called my sales person three times at 1130, Julie Rodriquez and she didn't answer. ( she wasn't in the office till 12) Had to get the sales manager on the phone Ryan smith to answer any questions i might have had. He answer and i told him that i will call him back soon to make a deal. I called at 12 multiple times to ryan and julie and nobody answered so i left them voice messages. I was calling to go over numbers as i said in the voicemail. Finally got a call back around 1245 but i was already in a meeting. called them back an hour later and they said they sold it. Thats a bunch of snakes. Sold the car out from under me cause i couldn't call them back within an hour. after i tried to reach them multiple times. They will take a deal with anyone regardless of a deal already made and that is a terrible dealership. Let me start with this : I've been their customer for over 15 years and in that time I've purchased 3 brand new cars from them... now, I will never go back because they're not trustworthy and they're thieves. In January 2023 I took my 2019 GMC to Abeloff for state inspection . I was told my rear toe links were loose and needed to be replaced in order to pass inspection... I couldn't understand how in 4 years and 43,000 miles and without any noise that could be, but I had no choice... I paid over 800$ for that... later , I made a complaint to GMC headquarters but never heard back.. this month (January 2024), I went back to them again to get an inspection done. I was told that to pass inspection, I needed new wipers and that they needed to replace the rear toe link on the driver side. when I told them that they just did that a year before (8,300 miles before) and why isn't that last repair under some kind of warranty- I was told warranty had expired 10 days prior I also have to mention that the windshield wipers they told me I had to replace were top shelf wipers I only put on 6 months prior... I was fuming!! I took my car telling them that I'm done with them... 2 days later I took it to another place to get it inspected and passed with no problems... now, I'm not even sure they had replaced the toe links last year.. I don't even know where to begin at this point. First, covid, they were the first dealership I could find willing to sell me a truck. Said I would be out in 30 minutes. Took several hours. Next both the sales people and title people lied to me saying I would get PA plates. I had moved during the pandemic so I still had a Maryland license. Couldn't change it due to all relevant agencies being closed. False. Got Maryland plates. When we finally got those plates and were WTF they lied, of course, saying we wouldn't have to pay taxes again. LIE. Having lived in 11 states I knew this had to be a lie. It was. I now have to pay sales tax AGAIN on a 70k truck. These people are dishonest, evil, and awful. No idea why the hell it says I'm in Montana. I live in Felton PA and have never lived in Montana. After buying a used Yukon xl here I brought it back because the transmission was shuttering. First time they told me nothing was wrong which it was but I guess I was wrong. After leaving there the brakes didn't feel right so I checked when I got home and the caliper was blown out. They said they didn't do anything and they couldn't even help out with price. After that I took it back for the transmission again and they said it would be $600 to change out the fluid and it wasn't covered under the warranty. So since they didn't want to help out anymore then that, I called the warranty company myself and they said they would pay for it so yet again traveled another 45 min back down there. There is so much more to this story but I wouldn't deal with them again. Bob Hoffman needs to learn how to deal with customers better and explain everything to them. First experience with Abeloff started with my phone call to Janie. She answered all of my questions, and was very quick to reply and answer any questions I had. I was a little nervous because I would have to fly in from IA to PA and take a 45 minute Uber ride to make the purchase. Bought a car here sales staff was great but went back with a friend who was looking for a car and notice the car was on sale for one price and once the numbers where added up the price went up 3000 above that with 10% down asked for quote to price conpare at other dealers but dealer ran away with it. The deal seemed shady like I said I liked dealing with my salesman completely different experience. I tried to think of reasons why he acted like that perhaps he was still learning the ropes and was not sure if his actions were unintentional or not. After this experience if I was a new customer I would be less likely to return. read more

We took our Enclave here for inspection because we had it there three weeks prior to have a part replaced. We are new to the area but just had a car inspected in October in NY (with no issues.) They told us we needed $3,500 worth of work to be inspected and they wanted to replace the part they just replaced three weeks prior. After we questioned all those things, they mentioned they are having a good sale on new Enclaves. We walked out and took it to a reputable place back home and they couldn't find anything. Work was done expertly. However, 6 hours for Oil Change, Tire rotation, Rotor replacement and 1 new caliper seems quite excessive.

Contacted the dealership via email about a vehicle they had in stock. Went back and forth with them on possibly purchasing it and trading my vehicle in on it. Unfortunately they did not get my business and never will in the future either because they were offering me less than auction value for my vehicle and trying to sell me their vehicle for High Retail. Sorry, not the way to earn new customers. My advice to all potential customers of Abeloff Buick GMC and any other dealership for that matter, do your homework and know what all vehicles involved are worth before ever dropping a dime on the dealership's vehicle. The prices for service are excessive. I understand that the technicians are GM certified, but GM owners should not have to pay such high prices. The customer service staff is courteous and accommodating, but you can get much better pricing elsewhere. read more

Well where to beginning.... probably months ago with the Horrible review I blasted Abeloff Nissan with and their service department. Seems Abeloff GM is not much better. This Abeloff Advantage Program is a JOKE! Funny the card that I have clearly states 2 year maintenance Plan - yet somehow now that has changed and only allowed 4 oil changes to be covered. Anyone with children or who works and drives we all know we have more than 4 oil changes in 2 years. Suppose to be lifetime inspections and I see they only allow 5. Does any of this make sense to anyone? Wish I could upload the photo of the card I have that CLEARLY states 2 year maintenance plan - with NO indication of any limit. Done with Abeloff both at Nissan and GM- Service Dept SUCKS and really wants me to jump through hoops to get you documents that you should clearly already have on file. In my line of work I will be sure to let my customers know that they should really look for another dealership - Again I was pissed months ago and seems like yea maybe at that time you tried to correct but here we are normal maintenance and again issues. read more

Just bought a 2015 GMC Canyon from them. Anthony from the internet department was fantastic. No pressure and worked out a good deal. I was needing a little more and Jeff made it a great deal! No uncomfortable back and forth, just let them know where I really needed to be and they made it happen. Was expecting the same BS you get from other dealers, you know, where they take your keys for two hours so you are held hostage to the sales pressure. Not here. Gave me way more than I expected for my 97' Tacoma. YES, 1997! I brought my Regal CXL in for some basic work because they sent some specials via e-mail. Since I was dropping off the car anyway, I added in the inspection to the ticket since it was coming due anyway. The detail spring job was good, I thought they did a good job to the interior and outside body, but they forgot to vacuum the trunk. No biggie, though that was part of the package. But the real problem started after they called me and told me the front brakes needed to be changed. I gave the go-a-head on the repairs. Two days later after picking up the car, there was a noise coming from the from wheels. I called and they said bring it in and they would take care of the problem. I picked up the car again, and a couple of days later the same sound was back, I called them again and they (again) said to drop it off. Since this is my only vehical, and the public access to get sucks, it's really an inconvience to not have a car. After a couple of days, I was called to pick up the car again. They explained it could have been a the pads or something else, but they did tell me they chaged the parts. Within three to four days...you guessed it, the car was singing that same tune again. I called and left a message about the problem, I didn't receive a call from the person I left the message with. Nevertheless, I received a follow up questionaire from the service manager wanting to know how things went and would i give a review. I answered by letting him know I wasn't satisfied because the problem still was there, and I hadn't received a call back either. I told him (whom ever he was), I basiclly wrote them off. Well, let me tell you. Within a day I receievd several calls from the service department asking me to bring the car in one more time. After a couple of days, I receievd a call saying they sent out two technicans but they didn'y hear anything. But before I could answer, the gentleman told me that he gave orders to strip the fronts brakes down completly and rebuild everything. Well I'm happy to report when I did pick up the car, the music was gone, it stopped and hasn't been back! I'm grateful for the Service Manager wanting to have a satisfied customer, and the guy in the service dept. doing everything to solve the problem.
