The place is full of energy, all vehicles come with their one-year warranty, which is quite comprehensive, and purchases include scheduled maintenance. if I could give a zero I would so I go purchase a 2014 Ford Expedition put down 4,000 in cash in may 2022 it is now sept 2022 less then a week of me having the truck it started having issues I take it to the service place on Hamilton rd where I sat there from 9am until 4:15pm two weeks later same issue I had to wait a week for the service appointment ok I take it back say there 5 hrs they assured me the issue was fixed the following week the car is worse cutting off at this point I'm totally frustrated they come tow the car from my house assure me they were going to fix the issue again okkkkk they bring it back and what happens the truck sounds terrible ac not working so againnnnn i put a hold on the payments that come out of my account until my truck was fixed Dee rolls up to my house in the morning blocked my truck in and demanded payment right then and there kind you I had an appointment to drop it back off for the issue ok paid her right there. Took the car back to get fixed one last time after speaking with John he said he would make sure it was done he's the manager I picked up the truck today and i barley made it to Walmart I call John calls me back saying it's impossible that happened he watched and road in the truck everything was fine he gets pissed and starts yelling how about i just give you your money back you put down on the car then I said that's ok I don't want to argue I just want the issue fixed or yes you can give me my money back and I can go get a car elsewhere he spend Dee with a check and someone driving the tow truck so I said please start the car Dee so you can see what I'm talking about she say yes I feel it like it's going to cut off and smell all the exhaust. it's so much more I could add but my fingers are tired but I wouldn't refer a Dog here STAY AWAY THIS PLACE IS BOGUS. After my fiance and I got screwed over on our current vehicle with no exhaust and they would not work with us. I got a phone call from Erica asking what happened and if we seen a vehicle to test drive from their lot. I explained that Rob did not work with us on our trade and only stated that we had to put down 3K down. She stated that "SHE will call back". Five minutes passed and Rob call me and stated obnoxiously  "the previous call from Erica was a mistake and what did we have to put down now." I told Rob that as per our prior conversation only the trade. I also stated that since WE WERE A MISTAKE I will be taking my business elsewhere. My fiance and I will never deal with this dealership again. If this is how they operate a dealership...they should sell used washers and dryers. I'm fucking done with their bullshit. I have purchased my last 4 cars from Ted's on West Main Street. I have had my issues with used cars but Ted's has always stepped up and fix, or replaced what may have been wrong with my vehicles. I have been with Ted's for the last 15+ years. I have my favorite person there Dee Perez. I have know Dee since she was the receptionist and now she has moved to the sales force and I could not be happier. My sons and family members have also purchased cars from Ted's. Now they offer extended warrantee and include the payments into your car payments - they should have had this service from the beginning. Great move Ted's. One of my early purchases has transmission issues in to my 3rd year, almost paid off. Jim one of the owners agreed to have the car towed to their place, replace the transmission and add the cost to my payment plan - so instead of 36 payments I paid into a 40 payment plan and the car worked ever since. Gave the car to my son to take to college and on his graduation he used it as part of down payment to a car dealer in Colorado. Thanks Ted's. read more

This place is predatory in it's "lending" practices. They are a buy here pay here lot and will sell a car to anyone - though at an enormous cost to the consumer. The DAILY interest rate is 18%. They sell high mile cars at an inflated price (2002 - 2004 models will run you $10,000 - $12,000). They bully their customers and get loud when posed with uncomfortable situations. All of their cars break down and if you don't buy their warranty program (1 year is the only option available) good luck! Because something (if not many thing's) WILL go wrong within the first few weeks of owning one of these vehicles. You hear the same story over and over again from consumers that have purchased from them. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away from this place. If credit is an issue - there are plenty of reputable places that will still work with you! read more

Liz tried to finesse me in a junk vehicle, once she figured I know the car business... they wouldn't allow my co signer to sign. Said I wasn't qualified but I've meet all needs in order to get approved. They even texted my co signer tell me to take off my bad review on them which is highly unprofessional and now Ted Used Cars is calling me a liar on social media via Facebook. Can I give 0 stars? They are absolutely terrible. 2ND day of buying a car check engine light comes on I call them and 2 ppl say OK bring it in which I did a day later 2 days later good Friday get a call asking me y my car is there so already frustrated cuz I've bin without a car for 2 days thinking it was getting fixed. So I explain how 2 ppl told me bring it in and the problems then get told sorry it can't get looked at til Monday after Easter weekend so I say OK I'll just pick it up and bring it back after holiday which I did and during that 2 day span 2 more problems occur locks locking and unlocking by itself constantly and heat not working right so I call them again to drop it off for the initial problem adding 2 more and 2 more days later pick it up and 2 of the 3 problems still not fixed and possibly the check engine as well which we all kno can be reset just disconnecting the battery. Never again would I bring my business to this place I didn't go there to be treated like garbage and get taken advantage. Their sarcasm is a Lil ridiculous too. My advice go elsewhere like even the junk yard would dish out better cars. They don't want bad reviews but give bad service. And if they don't fix the problem I will write something daily read more

Dee sold me a car and lied about where it was inspected. She also said not to take it to the place i was going to take it for preinspection because they'd say there were things wrong with the vehicle just to make money. She said to leave the payment and she would honor whatever they said was wrong with it. NOT! They didnt replace what was wrong, instead they did a muffler patch and had to order a part for the windows. When I took the car for inspection it failed for the reasons that was wrong with the car in the first place! read more

I have never in my life been treated as unprofessionally as I was at Ted's used cars in Stroudsburg. I went inside with the intentions of leaving with a car and that did not happen. I spoke to Jessica and all she did was prejudge me without knowing who I was or what I can afford. She spoke to my boyfriend and myself in a disrespectful manner and continuously asked him questions as if I was unable to speak for myself. When ever she would ask me a question I did not have an immediate answer to, she would speak with my boyfriend as if my age (23) somehow spoke for my ability to pay for a vehicle. During our conversation her tone of voice and attitude screamed inept ability to treat customers fairly. If that was not enough she also explained she would need my boyfriends information to check his background to "make sure he was not a scumbag like some of her other clientele." Mid way through our talk she got up grabbed a cigarette and said she'd be back. I don't know where she received her Sales training but that is a turn off when you're trying to talk money. I truly didn't like the way we were treated, and especially did not appreciate her degrading demeanor towards me, both as a customer and as an intelligent young woman looking to purchase a vehicle on my own. As a first time car buyer I understand the sales process and feel she was not classy or professional at all. I do not recommend going to this dealership and talking with this woman. read more
