Before making an eight-hour trip each way, I specifically asked them to tell me about every imperfection because I did not want to be out there and be surprised by anything because it so far. I was assured there was nothing wrong. When I arrived there was a giant softball size dent in the drivers side door. It had barked all the paint off so it was white on a dark green car!! Everyone swore they had never seen that before and they don't know how they missed it. I invested significant time and money, including travel expenses and a hotel stay, to come see the car. This experience was frustrating, costly, and incredibly disappointing. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business here. I told them exactly what my truck needed and they charged me $200.00 for a diagnostic and told me there was nothing wrong with the vehicle and gave it back to me the same day I had the same issue with the transmission range sensor I called them up and they told me to bring the truck back in and wanted to charge me for another diagnostic, I winded up having to go there and purchase a range sensor and a transmission filter and have my friend put it on for me, that ford repair shop is a ripoff with that charging people for diagnostics just to make money when they already know what the problem is. Worst experience I've ever had in a dealership drove an hour and a half to come here for a vehicle that I confirmed three times while I was on my way once in the morning twice while I was driving, nobody told me the vehicle was sold until I got here Perfect example of bait and switch. I had an unbelievably wonderful experience buying a used Kia Niro EV from Ray Price Lincoln in PA. To Sum It Up: Not only was the vehicle priced very competitively (better than private sales on craigslist- so I drove an hour and a half to come see the car because of this)but the kindness, respect, and genuine honesty are what helped me seal the deal. I took my 2014 F150 into Ray Price Ford Stroudsburg to have a Safety Recall Notice (24S37) addressed, which corrects an unintentional downshift into first gear from any gear at any speed. This recall included an update to the PCM software. Prior to this recall, I had no Issue at all with my transmission, and never had any issues. The trucked performed as normal through all gears. After the recall work was completed, for the first time while I was driving home from the dealership, I experienced the very thing the recall was supposed to address. I was traveling up an incline in 5th gear, step on the gas to accelerate, and the transmission disengaged, dropped to first gear, and reengaged, causing my back end to lock up and slide. I was almost run into the backend of the truck by the car following me. So in a sense, the recall caused the very issues it was supposed to address. Clearly no one at the dealership test drove this vehicle before or after the recall. If they did, they would have known the transmission was in great working order when I brought it in, and it was failing miserably when the recall work was done. I should not have been the one to learn about these issues on my ride home form the dealership. This should have been tested by the mechanic that did the work to the truck. The transmission had other issues on my ride home, such as disengaging frequently, downshifting unintentionally, and making loud, clunky, grinding sounds along the way. When I got home, I called the dealership and spoke with Cyndi Gaston, who informed me that the transmission needed to go through a full relearn now that the PCM was updated, and that I would experience "different engagement and shift characteristics until the transmission does the full relearn." Eventually, the transmission corrected most issues, however, there is a now a noticeable disengagement when the transmission shifts between 3rd and 4th gear. I never had this issue prior to having the recall work completed. I called the dealership back to have them fix my transmission, since I had no previous issues at all. I took the truck back on Sunday night and dropped it off for repair. After several one way phone calls from me to the dealership, the issue was handed off to the Special Service Support center contact Henry Orlandini. After keeping my truck until Friday, I was called and told that no further work would be done regarding this issue unless I agreed to pay for it, since the transmission issue was not caused by the recall work they did. This is utter nonsense, and they never even did a teardown of the transmission to see what damage they caused by doing this recall. Be aware and be careful of taking your vehicle to this location for serious issues. They, and Ford . . . . accept no responsibility for their actions and do not stand behind their workmanship. They ruined my transmission, and now my once perfect F150 is sitting idle because I can't trust driving it without worrying about an accident occurring due to the way they left my transmission after the recall work. read more

Arrived on time for my scheduled appointment. Within three hours I was provided with an estimate (which was covered under warranty). They had to order the part since it was much larger than a maintenance item such as a hose, brakes, etc. Part arrived on the day stated by the service representative and the maintenance was completed same day. This dealership worked with Ford to honor my warranty. Very professional staff. Would recommend again. Would have given 5 of 5 stars however, my hood sensor was removed from the frame during install and never reinstalled after the replacement part was installed. I took picture of my car it was in good shape ! Then after car was done it was parked outside and backwards in the space! This has been the worst experience with a car I've ever had. Let me start by saying my engine light came on in September 2017. My spouse works on cars and other motors so I figured he can help me find the problem (since ford has a fee for just looking). We scan my car to find codes a few pop up. We try to see if replacing one part works and it doesn't. I did not have funds at the time to afford a repair, my car drove fine so I waited. Then my car started refusing to accelerate randomly while I was driving. After a week of this happening on and off I find out this is a recall that I was never notified of for my transmission control module. At this point my car won't go past 2rpms and won't move so I have to tow it to Ford. They tell me this is a recall that they will fix. Was a little upset since I was never notified and what was happening was dangerous I was on the highway when my car refused to keep accelerating and an accident could have happened (not to mention I've taken my car to other ford dealers in the past and they never told me about this recall or any recalls that were on my car). I go to pick up my car they ensure me that it's good to go and my light is OFF. I get in the car drive less than a mile away and my light turns back on. I call them upset that they didn't look into the light when it was there and I take it back. They said it's not a transmission problem and I have to pay $125 for them to just scan my car and "look into it". So I said no at least the transmission was fixed so I left light still on. I save a bit of money to take it BACK to finally fix my engine light. I pay the $125 for them to check it out they tell me I need to replace my VVT solenoid. They tell me it's gonna be $430 to replace I said I'll take it somewhere else. I take it somewhere else they fix for $130 less than ford PLUS they fixed BOTH solenoids and my light is STILL on. Basically I paid them to just scan my car which I can do for free because the other shop actually looked at my car and found that the plastic case over the PCM computer couldn't come off because the bolts just kept spinning. Why ford didn't find this when they "checked out" my car I have no idea, and they claim to be experts on their cars and their technology. I have to take it back AGAIN because my light is on and they can't get to the computer. I basically had to tell ford how to do their job since I had to get the other mechanic to write down what he can't do so ford can see what they are seeing. I go there and wait for an hour and a half cuz I don't trust them to fix it while I drop it off. I end up having to leave because it took almost 2 hours so I leave and they call me 30 mins later telling me there's a bent pin on some plug and THATS why my light is on. Ford had me pay for a $300+ job just for them to fix a pin that they never found the other 4 times I took it there. I am currently in the process of selling my car and never walking into a ford dealership or service department ever again. Also, the lady at the front who answers the phone in service is rude and insinuated that I was poor since I took it somewhere else and said "we understand you have to do what's better for your pocket". When a customer is upset you don't start insulting them and people wouldn't have to take it somewhere else if the fee for scanning my car and claiming they looked at it wasn't expensive. Will never recommend ford or this dealership to anyone read more

During the short test drive it ran fine, for some reason. During the process we found out the was a report on the problems with the transmission but the salesman told us, repeatedly and emphatically, the report was incorrect and the car was fine. The next day we returned it and had a terrible time trying to get my deposit back. They even demanded I prove the money was taken out of my account, as if they didn't know. Just to be clear I have purchased Ford vehicles and nothing else for the last 22 years. Where do I start. Lived here in the Poconos for 5 years and purchased 6 Ford vehicles from them. 5 brand new and 1 used. The first 3 new vehicles were excellent and the service was Ok, it always takes them a little Over 2-1/2 hours just to change your oil and that's with an appointment. The last 3 including the used one were nightmares. 1. Used certified Ford Focus with 15,000 miles on it and purchased an extended warranty. Car seemed to run a little sluggish after a couple of months. Took it to the service department 2 times and they said it was normal in the Ford Focus engines to hesitate every now and then. Hmmm didn't sound right but why would they lie to me. Like I said we purchased the extended warranty that included all oil changes and a new set of brakes. Long story short at the end of the warranty with the last oil change they said everything looked good or everything was in the green on their checklist. About a month later the car needed inspected. Took it back to them because I thought they were honest. Well now all the sudden the car needs brakes and rotors as well as a front left wheel bearing. I said don't touch it I'm taking it somewhere else. Took it to a local mechanic who looked it over. Turns out I needed none of that done. Inspection cost $33 or something like that. Car now has a 150,00 miles on it and this is where it gets good. I take my 2016 Ford Explorer Sport to them to have some service done to it. I ask them to pull the recalls on the 2012 Focus because I hear that people have problems with the transmission on them and there is recalls on them. She pulls the recalls and there is 5 of them which I was never contacted or told about. Let's just say remember that sluggish problem the car had, well it was a recall issue. So I ask the girl," I've had this car here for all 15 oil changes/ service intervals and no one has ever said anything to me about these recalls or issues. She didn't say a word and told me to call Ford Cares number. In the end I call Ford cares and they tell me that the car is out out the recall mileage. 150,000 miles. What a joke. I find out there's a class action lawsuit against Ford for this problem with the transmission. 2. 2017 Ford Edge Titanium, has 5000 miles on it. All the sudden the panoramic sun roof cracks. Nothing hit it. It just cracked. I looked at this roof for about 1/2 an hour and couldn't find any reason why it cracked. No damage at all. Crack went from drivers side door to the front of the car. I call the service department and tell them about it. They say bring it down and we'll take a look at it. I had a conversation with my wife and tell her I bet they say this isn't a warranty issue. Take it down and the device manager comes out and gets up on the door to look at it. About 30 seconds later he says I have to take into the garage to look at it. I say ok. He takes it in and comes back out about 10 minutes later and says let me show you something. I say here we go. We both get up on the door of the vehicle and he says," see this little pin hole as he jams his own into it and it's a pervert fit, he says this is an impact strike. I said you're kidding me right, that wasn't there when you took it to the back and you just got done jamming your pen into it. He says to me " you need to just be quiet and let me explain". Well that's when I lost it. I'll leave that part out. Needless to say they said it wasn't covered under warranty. Call the insurance company and have another place fix it. These guys o took it to are really experienced at sun roofs. I tell them the story and he looks at it and says they are full of shit. There's no way that thing he pointed out caused it. Turns out he said Ford is finding out they are having problems with the panoramic roofs cracking on some vehicles under 10,000 miles. He said it looks like it was cracked from pressure of the vehicle and where it was cracked the pressure just from opening and closing the door. They also promised me another key for the car since they couldn't find the second one. Well, after 4 months they finally got my key. 3. Last thing, the money owed from the extended warranty and gap coverage that we purchased. We take the mileage confirmation form to them after trading the 2016 Ford Explorer sport in to them. Thinking they would cut us a check for the amount owed like Hoffman Ford and Maguires Ford did. Nope, they say it takes about 2-3 weeks for that to process from Ford. Well 2-3 weeks turned into a little over 2 months. We finally received our money from them. Unreal BOTTOM LINE TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP FROM SALES TO SERVICE. VERY CROOKED PEOPLE. I MAY BUY FORDS AGAIN JUST NOT FROM THESE PEOPLE. I dealt with Hoffman Ford in Harrisburg Pa for 16 years and never ever had a problem. read more

The Mrs. and I bought our vehicles here, about a year ago. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Our salesman, Matt, who was relatively new at the time, was great. Eric, the sales manager? for the dealership, assisted Matt with the sale and he was also great. Since then, we've brought our vehicles in for regular servicing, dealing with the service dept. They, too have been polite and courteous. All positives, so far. We spent a lot of money on a warranty that, according to Eric, the sales manager, we won't have to spend a dime on the maintenance of our vehicles, except for tires, for seven years of 125000 miles.Sounds good, right? I asked him (Eric) several times about the coverage of our warranty and each time, he assured me that tires are the only thing that I will have to pay for. We'll see, since the service dept. says he lied. They say batteries and light bulbs are not included, either. Again, we'll see. The only other slight concern that I have is with the service dept. not giving me due merit on my concerns about the transmission on the truck I bought. I don't think it is shifting properly. They say their computers are telling them that all is well. I have been driving long enough, and driven enough different vehicles, to NOT need a computer to tell me something isn't right. The atmosphere at Ray Price Stroud Ford Lincoln is relaxed. When you walk in the showroom you are greeted warmly with an inquiry if one of the many sales men or women can help you. I was lucky enough to have dealt with Bill Capo on my visits. I am a previous lessee to Ray Price Stroud Ford Lincoln and was contacted a few months earlier by Bill to let me know my lease was coming up and if there was any way he could help to let him know. When I arrived I was greeted by Kyle Wismer General Sales Manager, who just happened to also be a Mets fan like me. He made me confortable while I waited for Bill. I had called Bill a few days earlier to use his services since I knew what I was looking for. Bill directed me to the Ray Price Stroud Ford Lincoln website with some vehicle ID numbers so I could browse and get an idea of the option on each vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised by Bill's professionalism, knowledge and outgoing personality letting me make a decision within my timetable. I then set up a time to meet with Bill to test drive the vehicle, which I loved, then it was back to the dealership to work out the details on the vehicle I chose. Bill went over the costs of the lease with the Friends and Family Sale that was going on. Bill kept me informed throughout the waiting time while they removed the plates from my 2014 Ford Fusion and while they prepped and detailed my new 2016 Ford Fusion. I was notified about how long the wait was progressing to see the Financial Specialist Darlene Brown, which might I add was painless because Darlene remembered my likes and dislikes from my previous purchases which made the signing process fast and pressure free! Once the papers were signed, I was thanked again for my purchase. I was brought out to the car where Bill went over all the nuances in this vehicle like the voice activated navigation, SiriusXM radio and climate settings. Bill helped me switch over my SiriusXM account and set up my mobile phone through Ford My Sync. Once we were done, I was thanked again, offered help if I have any questions or problems, and I was on my way. The reason for the 5 STARS was simple. I wouldn't recommend. I stopped by before my existing lease was about to expire and told the staff I was looking for a 2016-2017 Expedition with my desired options. They took down the specs requested, my name and number and promised they could find me what I was looking for. After two weeks and two followup calls by me... no reply. Mind you my credit score is 750+ and was putting significant cash down. I am now driving a new Denali, enough said. read more
