I came here because I had an accident and my former Tuscan was deemed a total loss. I bought my vehicle from here because it was closer than the former Hyundai dealership I worked with for 20+ years. Big mistake. I should have stuck with Towne Hyundai in Denville, NJ. I worked with Dylan Pincus at Kelly Hyundai. I told him I wanted a vehicle similar to my totaled one. I needed automatic lift tailgate, electric and heated seats because I have spinal stenosis. I also told him I liked dark gray or green. The only thing I received was heated seats. When he showed me the Venue in blue I told him I did not like the color. His response was "I knew you were going to say that." He tried to convince me the trunk area was spacious, it is not. I came back three days later and told him the seats were hurting my back because I could not adjust them correctly and the hatch was hard to close. The seatbelt was too close to my throat and I absolutely hated the color. He did not respond to the seats or hatchback, He told me I could by seatbelt adjusters and that I didn't have to see the color of the car because I was on the inside. I returned because of the 30 day guarantee promotion. with no luck. I felt insulted, offended and my physical needs were unheard. Their service department is absolutely horrible. If they do the job at all, you're never sure because they don't give you receipts most times and have the job is not finished even something simple as a tire rotation. But then when you call and ask about it they say oh the tire pressure can drop 10 pounds overnight because of the temperature change lol they must think everyone is stupid There's no communication. And then you talk to one of the servers reps and they try to belittle you and talk to you in a condescending manner over the phone where they're safe from any direct contact of course lol Eric the man I spoke with on the phone told me these crazy things like I'm supposed to believe it got very condescending and sarcastic. Let's start by saying this dealership is a huge step up from Major Hyundai in the sales/leasing department. Some remnants remain - the wifi is still named Major (odd) and the phones as well. That aside, the staffv are pleasant and from my limited experience don't try to price gouge. Gone are the days of fake signs with a $2,500 East coast transport fee (pre pandemic too). The service waiting area is open concept and connected to the sales area, with general nonsense on TV. There is free coffee, water, and chips as well as seating where you can charge devices. Now for the downside - and it is pretty big. When I leased, I noticed people waiting in service for hours. I chalked it up to them being a bit new and it being mid-day. I was wrong. They are SLOW. Really slow. Caribbean vacation slow. I had a 7:30 am appointment for an oil change and tire rotation (the earliest offered). I was surprised to see another person here and waiting when i arrived, but it's not a big deal. The big deal was that I was there past noon for an oil change. That is bananas for a service that literally can be done in 15 minutes. UPDATE!!! Went in for my second oil change (and tire rotation this time), again with and early appointment and am please to add a star (it was 3, now 4) because I was in and out in under an hour. Purchased a new car from Kelly's Hyundai in April. Got the second oil change and couple weeks ago and 2 days later I noticed a puddle of fresh oil in the garage. So the wife was at her daughter's house for 2 days. She checked the oil and it didn't even register. So Kelly's Hyundai had to tow the car back to dealership. We drive for the second time to dealership 90 minutes (56 miles!) round trip to pick up loaner car. They had to order a part that they broke during oil change. A week later car was ready and had to drive another 90 minutes (56 miles) round trip. After driving 4 1/2 hours and driving 168 miles for an oil change at Kelly Hyundai I think we are NEVER going back there for service. I want to thank Stephanie in service for all she did for us and for dealing with unhappy dissatisfied customers! Clyde the service manager was not any help!All this because they over tightened the oil filter and cracked the filter housing. Then was told she should have all fluids flushed in car almost 800 dollars later and there for almost 5 hours. Entered ALL information including mileage, condition (very good), etc. It listed this dealer as the interested party. Said I would be contacted. I went here because my highbeams weren't working so instead of them figuring out what it was they changed the bulbs and then told me it still wasn't working then they wanted me to pay $199 to get it diagnosed to tell me what was wrong with it after I paid $133 for what I thought was new bulbs. After I complained to the woman at the desk and asked to speak to the manager, his cowardly ass would not come out and talk to me. He said the best that they could do was put my old bulbs back and charge me half the price I told him not to do that. Back today looking at a Tucson love the car, love the way it drives, happy with the pricing. Salesman walked away from him at the table and never came back. I referred my SIL here since I had leased 2 cars from Kelly Nissan; not a good decision. the salesman made sure to tell us multiple times that he was recruited to work at Kelly and how he sells 20 cars a month ... so? The monthly payment changed multiple times with derision from the salesman when my SIL balked. SIL picked up the CPO car today and what a disaster. Car was dirty, just barely enough gas to get off the lot, had to ask for the second key, monthly payment changed again and then the finance manager got her turn. She did the extended warranty speech even though this is a CPO car with the warranty already included, made a comment about loving her dog more than people (including the people right in front of her who paid good money for a car), and was condescending. Some of their mechanics(technicians) aren't competent, or it could be their service manager is pushing for unnecessary repair work. Their so-called factory trained technicians need to read the TSBs and look at service records, before fiddling with things they don't understand. Now to their sales department. They severely undervalue your trade in, to the tune of $5000; while trying to scam you for over MSRP on a new car. I call Tuesday no answer so I leave a message. At this point I'm like to hell with this. I'm having the car towed to my mechanic. I physically go to the service Dept and ask for my key and explain I'm having my car towed to another mechanic. They could care less. Enthusiastically the service guy gives me my keys and doesn't even explain to me where to find my car. Before I made the decision to have my car towed to another mechanic I came here to see the reviews and was horrified. After reading the reviews I knew I didn't want them to look at my car. Made an appointment and drove over an hour only to arrive and find there was a +$5000 market adjustment, the car was a demo used by a very sloppy manager. Car was dirty,lots of personal stuff in car, stale food on the carpets, beverage containers everywhere (just a bad scene). Sales guy tried to cover it all up. He also was working 2 other sales at the same time leaving us for very long periods of time. I still considered the car but they didn't budge on anything. I leased a car for my daughter years ago. They did not provide me with what I purchased. I ended up having to get an attorney involved to get a refund of about $1,300. Then, my daughter put so many miles on the car, I ended up having to buy out the lease three years later. I kind of expected that. But the lease buy out was clearly to be a fixed amount. From memory, I believe it was around $10,500.00. Adding to the original rip off, they then tacked on over $500 in fees for the transfer. I complained, but at the time, I went with it. I spoke with numerous other Hyundia dealers after the fact, and none of them could believe how badly I got ripped off. Their rates were between $50-100.00 and none over. I contacted Hyundia of America to complain. They did absolutely nothing. The final thing I want to add, is that when I was in the dealership complaining about the original rip off, one of the salesmen started telling me I was stupid for complaining. So I pulled out a recorder, stuck it near him and asked him to repeat it. That's when the Owner (at the time at least) jumped in, told me to leave and never come back or he would have me arrested for trespassing. Not that I would have wanted to go back anyway, but there was still three years of service and inspections on the vehicle I had to take elsewhere. And this place was only a mile away. I've brought it up over the years, but no one has ever done anything to make it right. Major Hyundai Sucks!! Sales, service an repairs!! Valentine's Day 3 years ago, I bought my Hyundai Veloster. Tried to start it on the showroom floor, battery was dead, I asked the sales man, can you please change the battery, No, it's not necessary. Charged, hesitation to drive it without changing it.. dies within the hour. Awesome ! Next car was never good. It never felt right driving. Second car from this place. 1st was ok. So driving it 70,000 miles in, the catalytic converter and motor blows in freezing cold weather. Quakertown Ciocca Hyundai took care of me. They rollbacked my car.. this place is awesome and worth the drive! Paul parts manager took amazing care of me! Got my car fixed, got me a rental immediately. Then fixed my car, kept me updated the whole way. Now my car is doing it again. Threw a check engine code. My car is at 98750 miles. They gave me a date 3 weeks away from my warranty expiring. The repair guy could care less! I said this is going to leave me dead on the road again. It's freezing out.. he shrugged like not my problem. I said I drive a hour to and from work.. I said what about a rental? He said we can hook you up with enterprise?! 40$ a day. Kudos to your crappy service, I'm switching to Ciocca Hyundai, thanks to this mans lack of concern and the horrible service from start to finish!! Update: 1/30/21 Ciocca Hyundai got my car in the very next morning. My catalytic converter was blocked up. If driven almost 3 weeks, my engine would have blown again. When returning to the dealership a few weeks later I waited fifteen minutes to even be greeted by anyone and unfortunately Tyler was busy with another customer. I purchased my Santa Fe back in 2001 and I am still driving it today! I love the vehicle and I love the company. I never had a problem until now! I wanted to purchase the 2022 Hyundai Venue for my wife. I went to my local dealership's website, as well as speaking to the salespeople on the phone several times, before going in to see the car. No mention was ever displayed or mentioned about charging more than the MSRP sticker price. When we arrived we found an additional paper next to the car sticker stating there would be an additional $5000 charge added to the sticker price due to the vehicle shortage. This is tantamount to price gouging and is a really disgusting way to run a business! read more

Wanted to share an experience I had yesterday with the service department. I had my vehicle in for an oil change and brakes. I've had many vehicles over the years and there's always the "required" service at certain mileage points. Well my car was at 72,000 so I told the service manager to also do the 75,000 mile service work as I was already there. And instead of him taking advantage of me and running my bill up he said "mr. Meyers, that's not needed at this point. The next mileage service isn't due until 90,000 so you're good for now". For being closed for the past few weeks because of the pandemic I found his actions to be extremely honorable as I'm sure they're hurting to make up for lost business. That right there has won my business for a very very long time. And you bet I'll be recommending them to anyone I know looking for a vehicle or for service. Job well done Major Hyundai. read more
