When I showed it to a young girl behind the counter and explained I was unable to eat the burger, she looked at me like I had 3 heads. I suggest the cook go back to school to learn how to cook a good, moist hamburger. We have usually had good meals here but this was terrible! read more

Menu is quite large with enough choices that everyone should find something they would like. There were six in our party and selections ran from finger food to burgers to comfort food. This is an adorable local restaurant to Spencerport. Perfect family restaurant. They seem known for their burgers, hots, and garbage plates. But they also have breakfast, salads, wraps, and even a veggie burger and, spinach wrap as an option to any of their wraps. They have ice cream and soft serve custard as well. The Ambiance is all about Abe Lincoln and is decorated like an old log cabin, with outdoor and indoor seating. I had a the cheeseburger wrap, which was delicious, and a healthier option to their regular cheeseburger. It was very fresh, came with lettuce, tomato, onions, and mayo. The lettuce was super crisp, which was nice and satisfying. My hubs, had the regular cheeseburger and hot dog. He wolfed it down. The price was extremely reasonable, and the place was very clean and the staff friendly. I would definitely go back, and families looking for a fun night out of burgers, dogs, and Ice cream can't go wrong here. Plenty of parking. read more

Warning- CASH ONLY! This is a rustic cabin style restaurant trying to imitate the idea of a log cabin that might have once housed an early Abe Lincoln. Order at the counter and then take a seat and your food will be brought to you by a runner. Again, cash only and tips are left in a can at the counter. They sell hard ice cream and frozen customer soft serve. Lastly they have a small toppings bar with lots of pickles and onions. Note to self- you do NOT like their Buffalo sauce. The chicken and biscuits on Thursday is the best I've had. Go there as often as I can. Clean, good food, happy people. Went to Abe's -we placed an order over the phone-not only was the order spot on, but their pricing, given today's high restaurant prices, was really reasonable. But the key to all this is the food was delicious and hot. The double cheeseburger for $8.20 was amazing-curly fries-excellent and to finish it off a large milk shake for $4.00. Great restaurant; relaxed atmosphere, delicious and well prepared food. We live in Churchville and often drive to Abe's knowing we'll have a delightful and good lunch or dinner. The only suggestion we have is that Abe's use more robust Kimmel rolls because their current rolls don't hold together throughout the Beef and Kimmel meal (although the meal is still delicious). read more

Kinda a townie place, but I love that! Very casual, good place to stop in for burgers or a "plate" They have ice cream and custard too.

Food is consistent, I have been going there for years. But for the first time I just tried the wings. I got their medium sauce, which had a hint of sweet in it. A very unique sauce that almost tasted like cinnamon. Wings were cooked well, with a nice crisp on them. read more

Went and had a fish fry. It was just ok. The tartar sauce was very good but the fish fry could in my opinion have been better. It seemed kind of thin and had that frozen watery flavor. It wasn't overly expensive I think it was like less than 10 and came with fries and coleslaw. I don't eat coleslaw but my boyfriend said that it was very fresh but didn't have a lot of flavor. Anyway I just think the fish could have been a bit less I guess translucent? I had the home fries instead of French fries and they were really good. Even though I live close by I have never been to Abe's everyone says it's really good. It seemed like a few people had garbage type plates and burgers and they looked good. Everyone that worked there was really nice but I just wouldn't recommend going for a fish fry. I was coming through town with my family to visit my mom for a few days. She suggested Abe's. I had the shrimp platter. So damn good! The mac salad is from scratch and amazing! A quaint little restaurant in a strip mall type building but on the inside it is log cabin type structure. The menu consists of mostly fast food, hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches, wings etc. If you are a fan of Abraham Lincoln you will love this place. The inside is decorated in all types of Lincoln memorabilia from pictures to his bust. The picture I liked the bay show up test was a silhouette type print made of of hundreds of little pictures from the Civil War. When you enter the restaurant you grab a menu and head to the counter to order your meal. Once you ordered they give you a numbered block that you set on your table and once your food is prepared they deliver it to you. Service is surprisingly fast and the employees are nice and polite even though they may show up to your table with a dirty shirt or apron since they prepare your food and wait on you. Good grub, fun shtick. Been coming with the fam since I was little. Introduced my bf and now we HAVE to get takeout every Friday. He loves the Cabin Burger with its mountain of meat patties, and I drool over the fresh fish sandwich (which they also do Wednesdays). They use good rolls and have good pickles in the toppings bar. I finally stopped here today with my fiance to give the place a try. I have lived in Brockport my whole life and have never eaten here even though I drive by almost everyday. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the man behind the counter (I assume he is an owner/ manager, if not then he should be). I had the bacon cheeseburger, and he had the bacon blue burger. The only complaint is that the burgers could have been a little thicker, not so flat. Otherwise it tasted great, fresh toppings and not too skimpy on the bacon. We also had a small order of seasoned curly fries and the small appetizer sampler of fried zucchini (yum), onion rings and fried mushrooms. He also had a side of coleslaw and said it was the BEST that he ever had. It was decently priced for about $4 for the sampler, and the burgers were about $5 a piece. Medium drinks $1.80, refills are discounted. I would have liked to see some meal options instead of having to pay separately for entrée, side and drink but hey, they need to make money too. If you are big on customer service, then come here. Every employee we interacted with was very friendly and polite. Also the employees were dressed appropriately and had CLEAN uniforms on unlike other places I know of (::cough:: Hamlin Pizza Shack.) The Wifi is a plus. All in all I really liked it here and will definitely be back. What a nice change of pace from the usually dissapointing restaurants in the area. read more

My girlfriend and I ate lunch at Abe's last weekend on our travels west of Rochester. We are pretty sure that the chicken parm sandwich that she had at Abe's caused her to get very ill later that night. The biggest disappointment was upon calling Abe's the next day just to politely mention they might have something contaminated I was basically told by the manager in a very flippant attitude "do what you have to do" . We go here often especially in the summer as they have a lot of outdoor seating and we can take our dogs for a little trip which they love. Pretty much as you would expect for a hamburger place. They have a large extensive menu with specials every day. It's always clean and the staff is very friendly and eager to please. We usually order a burger, hot roast beef on wick, fresh haddock dinner or sandwich or one of their many specials. Their fries are good, onion rings OK. I prefer their homefries. Lots of indoor seating and they always have customers. I recommend it for a nice drive out west. read more
