I had 2 issues when I contacted NEA. First was a malfunction of the electronic controls for my gas…read moreoven; second was a leak from the bottom of my refrigerator which turned out to be from the ice forming apparatus below which had a plugged drainage tube. The company which I normally called was overwhelmed with service calls but referred me to NEA. Following a few days wait for a part for the stove I received a call that the part was in and I would receive the service the next day. Promptly at the hour I was told the service man came (?John) and in a flash the stove was pulled out, the part replaced and the stove returned to its location. Immediately thereafter the refrigerator icing area was exposed and series of maneuvers performed and the repair was completed. No more water leak and the floor dry since; and the oven works well. Total time about 75 minutes at most. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. It is now my repair company of choice, at a very reasonable cost.

The store itself was clean, bright and neat. It's something that I need to do more often to be more efficient and not waste time. Self checkout was a breeze.

A simple storm-door installation turned into more than five weeks of delays, incorrect measurements, missed appointments, poor communication, and time taken off work. The measurement was initially scheduled incorrectly. After waiting more than two weeks for another appointment, I was told someone had to be home, so I took the day off. The installer showed up without knocking or calling and then told me I didn't need to be there. When installation day finally came, I took another day off work. The installer arrived without notifying me and said the measurements taken by East Coast Millwork were wrong. He left without fixing the problem. Lowe's tried to get involved, but it took nearly two hours to get East Coast Millwork to respond. Another appointment was scheduled. My wife took time off work to be home, and East Coast Millwork canceled the appointment without even bothering to notify us. After more than five weeks of this, I canceled the installation. Mistakes happen. What is unacceptable is the complete lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability. I spent far too much time chasing a contractor and dealing with problems that were not caused by me. I chose Lowe's because I expected better. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend thinking twice before paying Lowe's for an installation handled by East Coast Millwork.
