I had gone to the Lowe's in North Attleboro to look for a Fill Valve but they did not have the one I was looking for, so I decided to get on the Lowe's APP and see what store had what I was looking for. This particular one had it and it was on my predetermined route for the day, as I was heading towards that part of MA. The APP told me the aisle number and location of the item. Extremely disappointing experience with Lowe's in Abington and their installation contractor, East Coast Millwork. A simple storm-door installation turned into more than five weeks of delays, incorrect measurements, missed appointments, poor communication, and time taken off work. The measurement was initially scheduled incorrectly. After waiting more than two weeks for another appointment, I was told someone had to be home, so I took the day off. The installer showed up without knocking or calling and then told me I didn't need to be there. When installation day finally came, I took another day off work. The installer arrived without notifying me and said the measurements taken by East Coast Millwork were wrong. He left without fixing the problem. Lowe's tried to get involved, but it took nearly two hours to get East Coast Millwork to respond. Another appointment was scheduled. My wife took time off work to be home, and East Coast Millwork canceled the appointment without even bothering to notify us. After more than five weeks of this, I canceled the installation. Mistakes happen. What is unacceptable is the complete lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability. I spent far too much time chasing a contractor and dealing with problems that were not caused by me. I chose Lowe's because I expected better. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend thinking twice before paying Lowe's for an installation handled by East Coast Millwork. read more

On 4.12.25 lowes charged me to measure my screen doors $35. 5.12.25 they came out and measure i went into the lowes abington store 5.19.25 ordered my doors. $882.22 for doors plus $400 installers. I was charged this as they had to be custom made measure at 35 by 77.5. 6.30.25 the installers came out and only had one door. Lowes had lost the other door. Lowes ordered another door 7.1.25 same measurements as b4. 7.29.25 the installers came to install but only had one door. They measured the current screen door and said even if they had both doors it was incorrect measurements. The installer measure and provided lowes with the correct measurements lowes ordered 2 more doors this time doors were a total of $585.26 less then the original doors but my credit card still has the same 882.22. Difference of 296.96 that im still paying for as these prices have not reflected on my credit card statement. 9.11.25 the installers finally installed the doors and they installed 2 different doors I order 2 of the same doors originally. Been back and forth with the store since 9.11.25 and tickets put in but u can NEVER speak to a manager it's just tickets after tickets notation after notation. I will never shop at lowes again. And dear God dont let them measure even tho they insist they do the measurements. read more

I hate Home Depot and The paint dept people there are friendly and helpful always willing to look at splotches give their opinion, help you make a decision ... she couldn't even bother to look at the splotches.. there wasn't anyone else there looking for paint , so try me with that excuse. if it wasn't for the company I'm currently working with having an account here . After a delivery mixup that resulted in a refrigerator that cost half as much as the one we paid for arriving and being left with us for a few days I was really disappointed. Once the correct appliance was found and subsequently scheduled for delivery two days later I was feeling better about the entire situation. Unfortunately, that was before the delivery company banged into the door frame and then a picture frame getting the refrigerator into the house which created a scrape and a dent on the front door as it was knocked off the wall and onto the floor. If it wasn't for the delivery manager Crystal at the Abington Lowe's going above and beyond to stay in contact with us during the delivery mixup and offering multiple options to correct the situation with the damaged door we would be thinking twice about taking our business to Lowe's again. As it is we will be purchasing and installing new hardwood flooring next month and (if all goes well) a month later will be purchasing a pair of laundry machines as well. read more

I felt that the customer service was definitely satisfactory. In fact, I was pretty happy with it which was also consistent. Employees were frequently helpful, knowledgeable, eager, never pushy. Employees would also differentiate when something was their opinion rather than stating something as fact, or being a pushy salesman. Not only did they meet bare minimum professionalism, but operated at above the minimum, and that was the norm. So, this was very good . I also found it easy to find Employees, or they frequently found us, and could intuitive sense that we were lost or searching for something. It was as if they were psychic. They also clearly have safety procedures and in store regulations regarding the Pandemic. Employees wear masks . It generally feels safe. It's SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER THAN Home Depot in Quincy! Like night & day! The only things that were misses for me was the audio playing that said things like "frequently wash your hands throughout the day but there was no hand sanitizer dispensers anywhere. Not even in the restroom. I'm not a rude person that will reach into someone's cash register counter for it either. I found this odd, because I recall hand sanitizer n wipes here when there was an ebola outbreak years ago. The other issue that was a pretty big problem is the parking lot exit. It's easy to get into the parking lot. BUT HOW DO I GET OUT? I am a native speaker of English, and even I was lost and confused. Where's the EXIT??? There's no signs. My spouse is Chinese and he kept driving into the entrance. But, we drove around for 10 min trying to figure out how to get out onto the road. Eventually, a truck was leaving so we tailed them which drove somewhere into the back and turned a few times just to get out. And there's a traffic light. HOW THE HECK IS ANYONE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THIS???? I don't often frequent this store. But, I do like it. read more

The odd part of the trip was when we ordered shades they didn't have the brackets we needed. How does a hardware store run out of brackets. On December 15th I ordered an over the stove microwave and a stove with installation. The microwave was delivered without incident and installed. When I purchased the stove I was told estimated delivery would be February 2nd. I called the store several times on 2-16-21, let's make that 10 times before I spoke with Kendra a supervisor who was very helpful and explained my order was marked complete and they did not show they owed me a stove, said she would look into it. Several phone calls later, Rick in appliances called me back today with an attitude and informed me that it would be in the warehouse on March 30th, and would take 7 to 10 days to get to the store. I then asked him if they compensated customers for this kind of store mess up, he said the store did nothing wrong with an attitude. I will never purchase another item from this store and am cancelling my credit card with them. I do not recommend this store. read more

I have shopped at Lowe's since I became a home owner over 10 years ago. For the most part it has been a positive experience- especially my interactions with all the great employees. But Lowe's gets 1 star due to their delivery service. A total lack of communication when orders were only partially delivered was my initial complaint. Last spring(2019), I ordered some patio furniture and a new patio umbrella- the store I ordered from had the umbrella, but the store the order was shipped from didn't, so they just didn't send one. This has been a constant theme with delivery. Final straw was this last delivery. Over 2 weeks ago I placed a very specific order for deck material as instructed by my contractor. They delivered not only the wrong length, wrong style, but also WRONG COLOR. I have cut up my Lowe's credit card, and will no longer shop from Lowe's. read more

We've been in renovation mode for a few years so I'm at this Lowe's almost daily. They have some great employees and others who just avoid contact. There's one who drives a Hummer who constantly slumps around the store with a puss on his face (we call him "Slumpy"). Some days you have lots of help, other days you hear crickets. You can stand there forever and not get waited on. There were many times when I stood waiting to spend thousands on windows and couldn't find a soul. I would say the most eye-opening part of this, or any, home improvement store is the contractors you see. If home owners could see these guys in their natural habitat they'd NEVER let them work on ANYTHING. I mean dumb as a stump. Just watch them and listen to the conversations. The idea that these guys are going to be using a saw and swinging hammers is concerning. Sit in your car by lumber and watch. Trailer parking? Great idea for those with a trailer but Dicky is usually sideways across it with his single truck -on his way "to da job they-ya". Then there's the loading area. I can't tell you how many times I've seen one of the home improvement geniuses hog the spaces, not for a load of drywall, but for a box of screws -some real brain activity there! So yeah, it's a Lowe's. Mostly good employees and I'm usually happy with what I get. But the floor show is priceless! read more

Having just moved to the area not long ago, I've been coming here almost every day for new things you don't realize you need until it's staring you right in the face. Ah, the joys of moving into a new place! The people here are so helpful and friendly! I've been helped a couple of times now by Stephen and Ken, and they're great, but so are the others. Today, I needed a drill, and Ken directed me to the clearance section, where they had some marked down. While I was looking at them, Stephen saw me and recognized me from the last time I was here, and he showed me a great Craftsman drill for only $60 (not from the marked down section), as well as a drill bit set for $20. As I was walking to the checkout line, Stephen saw me again, this time carrying a much bigger drill bit set for $22, marked down from $50. That was really going the extra mile, that he went out of his way to look for a better deal for me, which certainly wasn't expected of him, but he did it anyway. Then he offered to put back the other drill bit set for me. That's good customer service! It's good to know I have a great home improvement center nearby my new home, with great people there to help! read more

I would give the kitchen cabinets and countertops dept no stars if I could. I paid $2100. For granite countertops which were horribly installed over 2 months ago, now lowes nor Discover marble (the middle man) return my calls to fix the issues or even apologize for the errors. A little about the issues, first the sink cut out was too small; they did fixed that only after me calling everyday for 2 weeks, one piece of granite was cut too long which resulted in an unsightly seam right down the middle over 1 foot away from their original template and last the granite has 2 visible chips. Word to the wise, for major jobs like stone or cabinets go to the source and don't deal with the corporate hell I now find myself! read more

I went to buy appliances and got zero help from a Lowes employee, so I bought them at Sears again (at a better price to boot!). I also bought an electric fireplace, where I had to hunt down an employee to put it on a cart or me and then waited 10 minutes for someone to help me load it in my car. The person never showed after another 10 minutes to help me load so I hefted the 200 pound box with the help of a friendly stranger in the parking lot. Customer service is a zero here! read more

Did my Kitchen cabinets and Coriander Counter top and sink. Never finished trim at bottom of cabinets and moulding around the cabinets was done poorly with poor cut and attempt to fix it was made by stiking wood putty in in rather then getting more moulding. Unfortunately I paid before the job was done and it was left that way. Materials were good but the contract workers did a hack job.Hold your money until it is done correctly. read more

Walked into the store and there were no hand baskets. Store worker came to me and said "can I help you? I said "yes, I need a shopping basket". He said "Oh, you should look around the registers: that's where people leave them." OK. As I was standing in an aisle looking around, another nice worker said " Can I help you find something?" I responded " Yes, thank you.I am looking for scrub brushes". He replied " huh I don't know where those are". OK When I got to the register with my arms full of $40 plus worth of small items because I did not have a shopping basket, I placed all my items on the counter. The cashier rang them up, I paid and she handed my receipt but did not bag my items. I asked for a bag and she said " We don't have any bags". OK I live five minutes away from the Abington Lowes but this is why shopping on Amazon is becoming so much more attractive. Shopping at the Abington Lowes is a painful experience. read more

This is a warning to not use their installation services! I took a chance and it ended up the way I thought it would. I submitted two applications online for a generator installation on the 12th and 14th of March and never heard from anyone. After calling Lowes online customer service about a little over a week ago to inquire about these applications they offered no help. However, the best they could do was to transfer me to this store where I had to verbally set up an appointment for today at 4 PM. Well here we are today where I come to fimd out that their project guy Zach is a very irresponsible employee. He never even bothered to even call the day of or even today to confirm my appointment at 4 PM. So today (the day of my appointment) I called the store to confirm my appointment with Ryan who originally set it up, and he saw that it was still set for 4 PM. He tried calling Zach who did not answer, but left a voicemail with him. Well I get a call from Zach at 4:01 PM telling me that he can't come because his electrician bailed on him 10 minutes prior to my appointment. Now if you were 1. A reliable project manager you would have made sure that this would never have happened. 2. You would have also confirmed with the electrician and myself that the appointment was still on this morning, the morning of the appointment. And 3. At least call me when your electrician bailed 10 minutes prior to my appointment instead of me having to call the store to see if you were still coming. Guess it really is hard to find reliable and responsible workers nowadays! read more

Inept is about the word for it. It's sad really, because Lowe's does have a lot of nice items, but people here just don't want to put in effort. I walked up to Customer Service last night to pick up an item and there were 4 employees taking a selfie. I didn't get the protection plan that I had prepaid for. Two days before that when I showed up to pick up said item (and wasn't able to), it was assembled when I had specifically asked for it to be unassembled for transporation purposes. They just don't listen, constantly interrupt you and very openly show attitude to everyone. Very, very poor leadership here. read more

I purchased a washer on 6/12/22 with a WARRANTY, this cost me over a thousand dollars. Shortly after I reported the damage to the store on 6/16/22, (I moved across the state and was unable to open it until that date). I was referred to the manufacturer Samsung who gave me the run around for an entire month only to be told they cannot help me on 7/14/22. Since then I have been fighting to use my warranty to get an exchange but I am told that I have to first deal with Samsung for the first year, and Samsung refuses to help me. The store manager hasn't returned my calls and nobody will help me. What is the point of a warranty if I cannot use it? I've submitted a complaint to the FTC, BBB, and Attorney General's office for further assistance. I have also contacted my lawyer because they refuse to follow the consumer protection laws. Husband bought me the last Dewalt compound sliding miter saw for my bday, which was the display model. This was after they told us they could order it, and didn't call us the day after with a yay or nay about it. Went in, decided to get the display saw, and it was a total nightmare after. People didn't want to bother helping, kid telling us the $579 saw 'doesn't come with a blade' because he was too lazy to look for it. Got a manager after 20 mins, blade was up top on a shelf. Get the saw home and go to set up for use. They stripped all of the aluminum on the saw head, didn't give us the dust bag, and the clamps for the blade were installed backwards and the arbor bushing for the blade is missing. Meaning the saw is completely useless until I find that part. Bunch of inept plebs working here. read more

I went to return a Bissel cleaner that my husband rented. I had tried to clean it as best I could, but had been dealing with a stomach bug and an 18 month old with a stomach bug. I was not expecting to get my cleaning deposit back. I went to return it and the customer service rep berated me for five minutes telling me how filthy it was and snapped at me that I wasn't going to get my deposit back. I said "that's fine" as I did not have the energy to stand up for myself or to take the thing back home to clean it some more. She then continued to mumble under her breath about me, roll her eyes at me, and talk and how filthy the thing was. She kept looking back at her co workers and shrugging her shoulders and rolling her eyes. I don't care how dirty the thing was (which honestly, was not that bad), you shouldn't speak to people or belittle them like that. You never know what someone is going through. read more

When people complain about Customer Service repeatedly, it is not a customer service issue it is a MANAGEMENT issue! Quality management stresses superior customer service. Customers couldn't care less what is your "company policy" . They care about how they are treated as customers! I had this happen to me at Abington Lowes. Cookie cutter Customer Service isn't the kind of customer service I am talking about. I purchased a Pfister Kitchen Faucet in October 2016. It broke last night. The Psister representative, from a call center in, I guess Jakarta, said they could send me a new faucet in ten (10) business days. Hmmm...ten (10) or more days without a kitchen faucet, with a 20 month old and a week old babies. Sure that will work for me....NOT! When I went to Lowes in Abington, where I purchased it, I was told there was nothing they could do about it. The management rep "Mike", said it was ....hold on, wait for it, Company Policy and there was nothing they could do. Here is what superior customer service does. First, they look up my Lowes rewards card. Frequent customer, loyal customer, very good. They need to keep customers like me. Okay, it may be unorthodox, but I (Lowes employee) will do whatever it takes to keep this customer. That's was my experience was with the North Attleboro Lowes. Do not get any work done on your house by Lowes. They took 3 months to do my bathroom...a job, I've been told by others, that should've taken 2 weeks, tops. Also, they didn't install the dryer vent properly and after many calls, I was finally just ignored. A year later, it's still not fixed and they told me the warranty is up! It was never done right in the first place!! My dryer vents into my basement now and not to outside. I have to pay to have a plumber fix it. They sub contract to various people and in my experience, they're people who either don't know what they're doing, or don't care. Save yourself the headache and find a good contractor on your own. read more

Went to the customer service desk to access my lowes credit card # to make a purchase on a leaf blower...the woman helping me was so rude and made me feel like I was bothering her when I spoke to her. She clearly didn't listen to me tell her my address had changed because she looked dumbfounded when she couldn't find me with the zip code on my license. She merely grunted and pointed after she finished, leaving me to ask if I had to go to the regular cash registers to pay after she obtained my account number. I know everyone isn't pleasant all of the time but you expect some level of service from the designated customer service counter! I received the worst customer service in the Abington Ma. store tonight by one of their managers! He was very nasty to me when i requested a refund for the delivery fee they charged me in error. It was supposed to be free since i had spent over a certain amount and he told me the fridge i purchased was not eligible for the free delivery because it was a "clearance" item however it was not on clearance and there were no stipulations in their policy. I had also called the store and asked another employee if i was supposed to receive free delivery and after she put me on hold to check with someone else she said i shouldn't have been charged either. I have been a customer at Lowes for 11 years now. This is my first review of this store. Over this time I have only known about 4 or 5 associates that are knowledgeable in their respective departments. If you know what you want the store serves its purpose atleast for me as it is convenient to my house. If you need any assistance whatever you are sadly out of luck. Some examples of where the store falls short ... I called the store today to be efficient with my time and to order an item and get some product info. I was put on hold several times for close to 8 minutes each time only to be told the person in that department wont be in until later and they couldn't take my order. It would have been faster for me to drive back and forth from the store and buy what I was looking for. Unacceptable! Later the same day I decided to just drive to the store. I picked out what I need rather quickly only to be delayed at the checkout for a half hour. Their was a price discrepancy on an item I was buying, I said I will go take a picture of it just to be certain. I showed the very polite cashier the picture of the item and the price tag and she was okay honoring the price listed and just needed a manager to sign off on it. The manager (sloth) wanted to delay me even further by taking her back to where I got the item to try and find the right item. I informed her that is not my job and that she should honor the price posted. She refused and went on a half hour journey to find the correct item. Again, a colossal waste of my time. This chain of events at Lowes has put me into a very bad mood. That store /chain needs a complete overhaul on how they run things or they can watch another loyal customer take his business else where. read more
