They have one of the best looking restaurants in western PA. The inside is stunning. Service was what you would expect given the atmosphere. Food? Not so much. Lots of issues. Appetizers too messy to eat. Sauces overdone such that they virtually destroy the entree. The salads looked great as they passed by. Should have ordered one of those.

I went for my birthday with some friends. I got the Birria hash it was good but it needed something like avocado to break up the flavor. My sister and bestie got the Parmesan fried chicken salad and liked it but wished they got dressing on the side! A few people got the French toast and it was yummy. The drinks were all so good. I got the morning marg and I loved it!! The staff was great. I made a reservation cause I had a big party but it was busy.

First off, kudos to the owner of this new restaurant for taking a chance on bringing a brunch spot to the eastern suburbs. We love brunch in the East just like folks in Cranberry Township and the South Hills area of Pittsburgh. The ambiance is truly right on the cusp of being spectacular. The wallpaper and soft oak tones warm up the restaurant and make you want to stay longer. The exception is the Ladies Room and downstairs areas. I understand that this is a new place, but the Ladies Room is rugged. The owners have wisely shut down access to the downstairs area until finished. I can't wait until the downstairs area is completely finished because it's supposed to be open for special events and we need places like this in the East. With regards to the service, it was wonderful, especially for a new place. Our server was on point and never missed a beat with our orders and was able to make astute recommendations. With regards to the food, the taste was scrumptious. I could kiss the chef for the Shrimp and Grits. Small complaint with the serving of the Shrimp and Grits. The dish needs to be plated in the same way as the Birria Hash. It was hard to maneuver around the bowl that the dish was served in. The Birria Hash was extremely tasty and the egg was cooked perfectly as were the fries and Pastrami bacon. My only suggestion here would be to switch to a back or English cut bacon for your English Fry Up dish. I don't know of another restaurant in the Pittsburgh area that serves an English cut of bacon and I think that cut would be more appropriate for the dish and differentiate it from other restaurants that serves brunch. The owner has a house-made bacon at The Lot nearby and should add it here. I'm extremely hopeful for this restaurant and can't wait until it opens for lunch and dinner hours.

It almost feels like you discovered something you weren't supposed to find. The menu is just as random as the location -- sandwiches, tacos, salads, and small plates. It sounds chaotic... but somehow it works. But at botL, the cacio e pepe is king. Yes, that cacio e pepe. The infamous Roman dish with so few ingredients that it has no right delivering this much flavor. It's simple food that exposes bad technique instantly... and botL absolutely nails it. They don't mess around either, even incorporating the hollowed-out cheese wheel. Sure, it might look a little showy... but when it tastes this good, who cares? I added the blackened shrimp and it was cooked to perfection. Perfect seasoning, perfect texture, perfect addition. Sometimes the best meals come from the most unexpected places... and botL fits that bill perfectly.

Maizy, Lydia, attention to our service, Simone (chef) and Tom greeted us with smiles and welcomes! I never choose for anyone but said I'm ordering our entrees! Cacio de pepe with filet tips atop. Wedge salad, wedding soup, and stemmed glass martinis and cabernet with dinner! Oh, brûlée cheesecake with a birthday candle was perfect ending! We arrived later than planned and happily closed the place down. We never felt rushed to go!!! That's an exceptional quality! I love it here and so did they! Resers best especially during prime time and days, but the bar is fun too! Some side parking and neighborhood street parking! You can thank me later!

The atmosphere alone is worth a visit. The drinks are definitely crafted with care and have a lot of complexity, but with only two bartenders working, it took quite a while to get ours. Not the place to go if you want quick service or are grabbing a drink before another event. My biggest downside is the price point--most cocktails are around $17. They're good, but at that price I can really only justify having one. Note: They do not have food, just snacks like peanuts. Overall, amazing ambiance and well-made drinks, just expect slower service and a higher bill.

Very impressed by their craftsmanship and experimental flavors. There's not many places in this area that even attempt to do that. I love the speakeasy vibe. Cocktails were made surprisingly quick even on a busy night. Everything is just really great about this place. Except for maybe the price lol but at least you're getting what you pay for in a good way

Thinner crust, well cooked and the whole pie is delicious. If you like those Chicago style pizzas go to Chicago. The salad which was really amazingly fresh, tasty and unique was a peach and burratta salad with arugula, cherry tomatoes with those teeny bits of walnuts. Pretty incredible. On Monday apparently they discount their incredible pies. The ambiance is warm, inviting. Service was a ten. Even though we didn't order much, our server treated us graciously and with prompt service and care. Thank you.

(Pictured), we ordered the meatballs, large house salad , broccoli , Neapolitan pizza, Caesar fries , zeppole, tiramisu cheesecake , and chocolate ricotta cake. Caesar fries were AMAZING . I'm one to add fries to my Caesar salads so this dish was perfect. Pizza to die for . Broccoli cooked and presented perfectly . Meatballs served with an smooth tasty sauce . House salad was just OK. Nothing special for $13. Zeppole didn't have a ton of taste to it . Tiramisu cheesecake and chocolate cake delicious ! Our service wasn't that great to be honest . We had to ask for a lot of items a few times .. sharing plates, silverware , and boxes . As a server /bartendar, I know these things should be given automatically . To be honest , the booth we were sat in by the kitchen / restroom entrance was odd. Very hot beside that pizza station and very busy considering the placement of the table being next to the kitchen. We will be back for sure but maybe we will ask to be placed at another table! Server could have been having an off day ... so I encourage all to still try this spot ! Hope to update my review one day soon:)

My mom and I split the burger and mesquite butter wings I think they could've been a little more saucy, I didn't mention anything, but I'm sure she would've brought me more. If I asked. I heard a lot of good things about the ranch and it was good once I really really tasted it. I didn't find it that flavorful off the top but once I really tasted it, it did have good flavor. Maybe this was a fresh batch that needed to sit. My dad got the buffalo chicken eggrolls. They were good, but we didn't realize it would just be chicken dip in the eggroll wrapper We were expecting shredded chicken with hot sauce and cheese or something similar. I came to celebrate my granddad's birthday just to try something new and he generally likes bar food. He enjoyed it as we sang happy birthday to him. The other patrons and the waitstaff also joined in and someone even offered to buy him a drink. this is a really nice bar if you're looking for good food , good vibes and nice people.

My default when I don't feel like being disappointed…read more @thepubat333 is that easy "let's just go to..." and no one argues it because it just...works. There's enough going on menu-wise that everyone figures it out, and I'm not exaggerating-every single time I've been there since they opened, someone at the table orders a French dip. Every. time. It's basically part of the experience now. Also if I see pierogi, I'm ordering pierogi. That's just who I am. Could've taken down the entire plate without blinking but I shared like a respectable adult (meanwhile mentally tracking which ones were supposed to be mine). It's just a laid back, neighborhood spot that doesn't try to be anything crazy and still ends up being exactly what you wanted. Fun fact: my friend and I once prank called from their landline, the owner immediately called back, we answered like nothing happened, and yeah...the phone was no longer an option for us after that

Bar seating was almost full with only a couple seats. Heard good things about their pizza too. There's free parking in the lot (although small). Shout out to our bartender Ange! The black and bleu shrimp was absolutely amazing. It's got blackened spice and has this creamy sauce that makes you go dip for more (I need that recipe honestly). If I had some bread, I'd definitely use this as a dip lol. We got the thin crust Sicilian pizza to share. The pizza unfortunately was very wet and kind of soggy. I think they could have waited to let it rest for a few min before serving because it would especially show when we were separate the slices and try to take one off the plate. I don't usually want my toppings and cheese to just slide off the pizza. Also since we were at a bar w/ some of the games going on, we wanted wings and got their crispy whole wings in a dry spice rub. They were pretty big wings and well seasoned -- not too spicy though if that's not your vibe.
