    Flight Risk and the Faerie

What a great restaurant/speakeasy in the Strip! There aren't a lot of vegetarian options to choose from, but the ones that I chose were delicious. The grilled halloumi and pesto sandwich was amazing and the size of the sandwich pretty decent. The watermelon feta salad was also delicious! The grilled asparagus was nice and crunchy as well. The faerie and the flight risk cocktail were made well as well! Perfect balance of sweetness to the amount of alcohol that you could taste. Would love to come back again to enjoy the speakeasy style ambiance.

This was an amazing date night spot! We went down to the cellar and sat at the bar to enjoy fancy drinks while waiting for friends. After we had a round, we were seated with our group to enjoy dinner. The service was amazing - accommodating & friendly offering recommendations. I ordered the French dip (or similar) it was SO GOOD. And paired various wines with the meal. I had a lovely experience and look forward to another visit!

We had a private event here the other week and it went really well! The private room is a cool vibe and spacious. Our servers did a great job of checking in on us at appropriate intervals. I was a little wary when I realized our food would be buffet style instead of individually plates but each dish was delicious and there was plenty to around. I would have another private event here again!

Cadence Cellars was one of my family's favorite stops in the Strip. They had some of the most excellent drinks and food, and we spent so many wonderful days there over the years. So many amazing memories were made in this place. We are truly sad to hear that it has closed. Thank you for all the great experiences and hospitality over the years.

Really cool place underneath a bike shop, which my friend and I found by just wandering past. There was a small wait to sit at both a table and bar, so they gave us free sparkling wine while we waited! We split the Pittsburgh pour flight, southwest egg rolls, and fries, which came with a large portion for $5 during the late night happy hour. The only thing I wished for was that the fries came with sauce, but ketchup and ranch were provided after asking. Cocktails were good and had very interesting flavor profiles!

Cadence Cellars Speakeasy is a restaurant and full bar. The food menu lists starters such as beef-wellington egg rolls and a charcuterie board, salads, casual entrees such as sandwiches, upscale entrees such as filet mignon and lamb chops, and desserts such as cheesecake and gelato. The drink menu lists many cocktails and wines Through OpenTable, I had made a reservation for four people for a weekend lunch. OpenTable's website said that the restaurant's dress code is "business casual," but based on what other customers were wearing, I would recommend casual attire. The restaurant is located in the basement of the building. The seating hostess immediately seated us at a comfortable and clean table, and the waitress politely served us throughout our meal. I drank a Fallen Apple cocktail, and my husband drank a mocktail. I rate them each as 4 stars. My appetizer was a crab cake. My main course was a pulled-pork sandwich with truffle fries. My husband's main course was a chicken-bacon-ranch sandwich. I rate the foods as 4 stars.

Great Service, environment, food but best of all are the cocktails! We needed to kill some time before the Penguins game and the speakeasy Gods led us here.

This was our anniversary restaurant choice. The ambiance is very cool. It's fairly large inside with tables spaced nicely apart. A cute sign said "Happy Anniversary." Our server was nice. No conversation, no recommendations, and no well wishes on our anniversary. The bread was spectacular, and needed more butter, but our waitress rarely checked back. Ordered pork schnitzel. It was tasty with nice breading and, although it looked o recooked, it wasn't. I had probably a tablespoon of mashed potato's. They were very good.. I think... gave hubby a taste and I had about 2 tastes left. They compensated by giving e tea carrots, I think. Nice idea, but I love my carbs. The "sneaky" moves (like adding carrots so someone didn't have to do proper mashed potatoes) continued into dessert. My gelato has 4 choc chips... in total. It was sent back and we were told they ran out of chips. In that case, DON'T PLATE IT!! Checked the desserts to go and there was no sauce w the cheesecake. Apparently they ran out and tried to pass it off hoping we wouldn't check (I'm guessing). They did remove the desserts, but we had to say something, which is awkward to begin with at an upper class establishment. Desserts were comped, but again, that just feels weird to complain!! Overall due to the sneaky moves, I gotta give 3 stars. Why plate something that obviously isn't right or is missing items? Either management screams at the Expo/server playing dessert or they totally don't care. We won't make a return trip.

Came in on a Thursday night for some happy hour drinks and apps before going out for a friends birthday. For myself I had the tuna tartare appetizer which was incredible and then we all shared some French onion dip. I'm not usually a fan of French onion dip but I could not stop stuffing the chips and dip down my mouth. I didn't try any of the signature cocktails but my friends that did all really enjoyed them. They have a great beer list with a lot of my local favorites so I was able to enjoy the happy hour deals trying some new seasonal beer.

The food, service and atmosphere were amazing. Highly recommend checking them out. Celebrating my Mom's birthday here was a great idea. We enjoyed the cocktails and look forward to going back. I could see myself going for happy hour since I have a great appreciation for carefully crafted cocktails.

Great cocktails and wine selection with an old-timey feel. We sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the talented barkeeps whip up all kinds of elixirs that almost (almost) looked too good to drink. I appreciated the spooky fall decorations and look forward to seeing how things change once we head into the winter holiday season.

The room is beautiful, the food is consistently solid to excellent, and the location does a lot of the work. What elevates Cellars into something genuinely special is the bar staff--they always go above and beyond!

Visiting family we decided to spend the day in Pittsburgh and decided to go back to Cadence Cellars since we enjoyed their brunch the last time we were here. They didn't offer brunch today since it was a week day so we opted for their lunch menu. I ordered their fish tacos and my husband ordered the spicy meatball sandwich. The meatball sandwich was very good and the fish tacos were just okay. The tortillas were stale and there was not much fish in it. I enjoyed their brunch better.

Horrible food. Apps were a joke. Asparagus was terrible, and the crabcake was doused with lighter fluid or kerosene.

We sat outside, which was first come first serve. It took awhile for anyone to approach us but I was in the restaurant industry for some time so I surely realize it happens for many reasons ! My friend ordered two speciality drinks which we were then told they didn't have the ingredients to make those cocktails...Okay - it happens no problem . We then ordered food from the brunch menu ( also out of the first item we asked for , there are only about 6-7 items on that limited menu). We asked if the regular menu would be available that day and we were told "no not on Sunday's." We proceeded to order and consume the hot honey chicken and waffles( good but not much of a hot honey taste and be aware it's BONE IN chicken), French toast with berries ( delicious ), and the shrimp and grits (made to perfection). I ordered the Texas medicine beverage , which was exquisite! (Tequila cocktail, Pictured). We also had the Petal and Pearl , gin and procecco cocktail ,not pictured but very good as well. After we ate, we moved to the bar to grab one last beverage. Again, it took quite some time for someone to approach us, which was odd because many of the girls were making eye contact but walking by us. Finally a gentleman with curly hair came over to take our orders - thank you. We noticed people at the bar were eating wings and food that was not listed on the brunch menu. When I asked how they ordered that, they said the regular menu starts at 3 on Sundays! We were extremely disappointed our original server did not tell us this nor was enlightened that the menu was released at a later time on Sundays. Concerning. It was nice to sit on a roof top in Pittsburgh on a sunny day. They have the atmosphere done with perfection. The food seemed delectable and the beverages done with beautiful presentations. I really hope to give this place another chance and revise my review !

I've heard so many mixed things that I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed every aspect of my experience. It kind of has dive bar vibes but the food and drink options are definitely on the elevated side. They open at 4 on Sundays and I got there around 4:15. It was already pretty busy (and by the time I was leaving, every single table and bar stool were occupied). They have standard booth seats along the windows, hightop tables in the middle and bar seating along the bar that curves along the back of the restaurant. I chose to sit at the bar since I was by myself. I was promptly greeted by the bartender. They don't hand you copies of the menu, you have to scan the QR code to access. It is easy to read and follow with sections for drinks, specials (this time they were Wicked themed as a nod to the show at the Benedum) and a sushi section. I ordered the street corn dip. The chips were a bit overcooked and the dip was just OK. I thought it was pricey for what you got. The star of my meal, though, was the patty melt. It had the burger, a bacon jam, caramelized onions and was absolutely delicious! It was served with fries. I considered ordering sushi but wasn't sure what to expect. The patrons sitting on either side of my ordered rolls and they were a nice size and looked delicious, so that is something I would consider ordering in the future. It was a place I'll likely be back to because of the proximity to the theater (although their prices definitely reflect that). Just note how crowded it always is and give yourself plenty of time if you plan on heading here for dinner before the show.
