Pizza was just ok. Paid for 3 toppings, one being extra cheese after reading other reviews, pepperoni and homemade meatballs. Only 1 meatball and glad said extra cheese. Ice machine broken so no ice for sodas. Manager seem to be in a bad mood and one of the teenage workers seem to be on drugs. Maybe that explains the managers bad mood. Had to ask for the salad that we ordered and utensils. Very close , but feel like this will be the only time we will go there. read more

I am a sucker for local pizza places... local places are great, but honestly pizza in general lol. It's a food group of mine at the present. I understand that Abo's has a number of locations, but the Erie spot has hooked me in completely. We've ordered delivery from this location more times than I can count in the last year and it's been phenomenal each time. It's unfortunate that there are other Yelpers that have had less than stellar experiences - whether delivery or in person. Abo's has a website that you can easily place an order to pick up or have delivered rather than calling in to the restaurant. I'll be honest and say that I prefer that lol. The website is very easy to navigate and there are none of the BS service charges that we've all come to accept from larger delivery services like Doordash or Uber Eats (thanks pandemic). There are no update text messages or anything to notify you of status changes after you place your order, unfortunately, but in my experience, calling and asking has been helpful. We are typically quoted a time frame through the website, and each time we have placed an order, our deliveries have arrived at our front door within a reasonable amount of time and the kids handing us our glorious pies have been friendly and personable. We've never had an order go wrong, take too long, etc. Abo's is expensive in the same way that anything nowadays is, but if you're feeling a hankering for pizza or just feel lazy and don't want to cook dinner, this spot is a great place to consider giving business to. Heck, I might even order some more pizza tonight... LOL. read more

I ordered a pizza and fat fingered the order, my pizza was at the Erie location; not Longmont. Called and explained the situation and apologized sincerely. This kid says, "upper management said you purchased the pizza no refund". Total DICK move if you ask me, STAY FAR AWAY!!!! read more

We called ahead for our to go order and it took nearly an hour on a Wednesday. We ordered. Pizza and Greek salad. The pizza was ok, good toppings, but crust was thin and burnt in spots. The Greek salad had incorrect ingredients in fact, they don't even offer Greek dressing. Had I known it wasn't going to be a Greek salad, I would have gone to the store to make my own. Good pizza. The closest to actual NY style pizza that I have found in the area. And delivery is usually much faster than you'd think.

Not only is this the best pizza around but the employees st this location are great. We called 10 minutes before closing and asked if we could still get a pizza and he didn't hesitate to take care of us. We were just a couple of minutes away so we went over to pick it up and had a parking lot picnic with our little girl with our delicious, hot pizza! I'm from NJ and recently moved to Erie for my job relocation. We've been trying different pizza places all over to see what we like best and decided to give these guys a try. Can't comment on the inside of this place as we only ordered delivery on this occasion. We ordered two pizzas and order of wings and garlic knots. The food was late, and missing the knots. The driver did return with something else but not what we ordered (was like a pepperoni bread of some sort). That was actually pretty good, the wings were pretty bad and we literally got 5 wings for the order. They sell the wings as a pound but there were pretty much wings thrown in aluminum foil, sauced with hot sauce and cooked in an oven. The were burnt on the bottom side and not worth what we paid. The pizza is weird also, burnt bottom and it's like they don't fully sauce and cheese the pizza so only 75% of the pizza had the toppings the rest is large chunks of dough that bubbles up. Didn't care much for the flavor either seemed to be lacking I understand coming from NJ my standards for pizza are different but this was just bad in all fronts. The food here was equivalent to someone making pizza at home and not succeeding. Sorry for the harsh review but that was my experience here. read more

The pizza took around 45 min to get delivered. Totally understand that happens, but when we got it, it was barely warm. (Must not have pizza sleeves to keep them warm) Super thin. Disappointing.. We called to order a pizza at 4:30pm on a Wednesday. We were told it's be delivered in an hour. At 6:00pm we called and they said the driver was lost. 6:30pm and the driver is still lost (it takes 15 mins from door to door). We speak to the manager and She lies and argues with us. The pizza here is fabulous, just like all Abo's pizza. And isn't that what a Yelp review should really be about? In theory, yes- the review should be about the product, and the pizza is 5 star pizza. But I just cannot get over how terrible the service and staff are. We've gotten delivery as well as visited this location in person, many times. Nobody cares about their job here or has the common decency to be nice to customers. It makes you wonder whether they understand the basic concept of A JOB. You're doing a job and getting paid. It's not glamorous. You're making pizza. Be nice to people and try to show a little bit of professionalism on the phone and in your behavior in the workplace. It would also be great to get delivery in under 90 minutes when your location never appears to be busy and we live 7 minutes away. Don't make me call that big national chain! This was their 3rd chance with me. Each pizza showed up just like this one; toppings slid to the corner, despite my warnings that the 2 previous pizzas were delivered this way. My home is about 0.2 miles away. I guess this is their standard. Flavors? Absent. Toppings (besides cheese)? Minimal. The cheese sticks? Straight from the Walmart freezer. I also ordered a gyros, and that was not good, either; the veggies were definitely at their soggy limit, with the meat tasting more like bologna. Seriously, I'm not a super-picky foodie, but every experience I've had with them is wholly dissatisfying to the point that I feel compelled to write this review. I would've been happier with an $0.88 Totino's pizza. Management needs to fix this place. Until that happens, your money will be wasted on this establishment. read more

I've only been to this location once. The pizza was ok - somewhat lacking in flavor though (bland) and the crust was tough. We ordered a four-cheese with pineapple on one half and pepperoni and mushrooms on the other half. The pizza at the Broomfield location has better flavor. The cheese bread was really good. Price - a little on the high side. The bill surprised us. The dining room is much nicer than the dining room at the Broomfield location. Got to love their pizza. If you like thin crust pizza, this place is good and tasty. If their service was good, they would get 5 stars. Every time I order, however, they say it's going to be 20-25 minutes, so I show up at that time and then I always have to wait around for another 10-15 minutes for my order. My first time at this location and it didn't disappoint. I went in about 8:15pm on Saturday and left about 15 minutes later. I got a small cheese pizza and large veggie pizza to go. The pizza is thin crust, wood fired and topped well. My wife and I both thought this was very good pizza tonight. The price was ok, I paid around $35 for what I got. There is also a small bar and some old arcade games. Update: the pizza is still very good. However the service is consistently sub par. The waits are long, it is hard to order, the don't take their own coupons. It honestly seems like they just don't care. There are too many pizza options around to run a business like that. read more

Meh. Good for emergency 'oops we ruined dinner' nights, maybe. I like the crust, but there's nothing really outstanding about the pizza to comment on. Employees are sub-par. B. was charged for two beers instead of one when he stopped in for pickup, (there's a small bar inside) and they wouldn't or couldn't refund his money for the beer he didn't get. They DID offer to give him a second beer, but he'd have to drink it there, and it's not a good idea to drink two beers in the time it takes to make a pizza. So they said they'd 'owe him one.' Yeah, uh huh. The second visit we came to eat in to get away from the incessant noise of our neighbors getting their carpets cleaned. We ate less than half of a large pizza, then decided to get a box for the rest. A large pizza does not fit in a medium sized box, unless you layer them, and that's no good, but for some reason we could NOT convince them to give us a large box to fit our leftover large pizza. We had to put on our spacial creativity hats to fit everything in the box they did give us, but we managed it. The sad part is the only reason we tried Abo's in the first place was because Slice's was closed even though their hours on the door claimed they were open. Tried to give this place a second chance. Ordered at 5:25. An hour passed. Then an hour and a half. Called. Told... "Oh yeah, meant to call you. It will be another hour at least and maybe not at all." Haven't gotten a refund yet and no pizza. To add insult to injury, have to call my credit card company to dispute the charge. This place sucks. Never again. Order from Adesso's, or Rosati's, or eat cardboard... At least you won't get ripped off and get to have dinner at a reasonable hour. read more

BELIEVE the reviews of how long it takes to get your pizza! Do NOT order from here, EVER! We live 8 minutes from the location and have waited 90 minutes or more. They give nothing but excuses on the phone. Tell us that the pizza is out for delivery, we live 8 minutes away, and it doesn't show up for another 30 minutes. Advice if you live in the area, order from Marco's, Pizza Hut, or Papa John's. You'll usually get your order in around 30-35 minutes. read more

Abos pizza is ok! Their pizza is excellent but their service is lacking immensely. We tend to meet friends there because it's close and they have offer glutton free pizza. The bar is pretty much the focal point, which isn't much at all. The kids like that they have a few games to play while the adults sit and talk.
