Our experience was very slightly below average. First when we called we were talking with an employee who did not know about a coupon we were talking about on their website (Party With Jack for $24.99) and after taking our order he said the price was in the $30s...we told him about the coupon on the website for 2 medium pizzas (1 specialty and 1 one-topping pizza), salad and ice cream and he said he would not honor it...we asked for a manager who did a pretty good job handling it but said he could only honor it for $27.99 (not what was promoted). Seeing how we had little delivery options we obliged. On the delivery the driver did not have any type of branded topper for Blackjack and I would recommend that for safety and branding purposes. Pizza was good, not amazing. A bit pricey for the size of the pizza. read more

I'm a native New Yorker. When I went to pick up a pie at Blackjack I met two other native New Yorkers. Is Blackjack pizza the same as New York pizza? No, but it's damn good. And people that know good pizza agree. Those who have grown up on Domino's and Pizza Hut probably won't like it because it doesn't use tomato sauce sweetened with corn syrup, and crust that's basically sawdust. It tasted like real food and not just cheapy greasy junk you would get from a huge chain like Little Ceasars or Dominos. Friends ordered the boneless wings and left no crumbs, they sure looked tasty! It's a shame that customer service has gone by the wayside since the pandemic. It's a shame that this Blackjack Pizza shop no longer can handle the business in our town. This used to be a great local place to order from but the long waits and mishandled orders are too many to count anymore. Like so many others, the food is good but the service is beyond terrible. We waited for our food to show up late and when it arrived, it was only half of our order. SO, they said they'd deliver it later or credit us back. We opted for credit because dinner was already pushed back so far. Anyhow, they show up once we are done eating with the missing half of our order. We tell them we don't want it, we just want the credit. They said the food would just be thrown out, so take it and they will still credit us. Well, no credit ever showed up and we are definitely not going to use them again. I ordered Pizza from here just because they were running free delivery on Uber eats and it was ok-ish! Firstly, I had requested for thin crust but ended up with a regular thick crust. And second, the Pizza was not well cut and the centre part of the pizza was very soggy, which made it difficult to pick a slice off the box. Pizza is typically good. Delivery from this location is not good at all. Last order from the web said pizza should be delivered in 45 minutes. After an hour and a half I decided to call and they said the pizza should be there in 10 minutes. So after nearly an hour and 45 minutes, the young lady delivering our pizza arrived. When we asked if she knew it took an hour and 45 minutes to get the pizza, she was rude and said "well they should have told you it was a two hour wait when you ordered it." When we asked if anything could be done about that... that a discount or would be nice she snarked "that isn't my job, give 'em a call and find out." I went with the location in Erie because they are a mile closer than the one in Firestone. However, with the ridiculous wait time and the rude delivery person, I'll go back to the one in Firestone instead. They are almost always here in 45 minutes and never take longer than an hour, and we've never had rude drivers from there either. It'll be win-win... we'll get our pizza delivered faster with a smile, and the Erie location will get a much needed break because they apparently aren't staffed enough in the delivery department. read more

First, the service over the phone was pretty good. Friendly and attentive...the delivery was fast too. Pizza is my son's favorite food and when the weather isn't great..Blackjack is a good option. Now the pizza, is a half step above Little Caesars...it's not bad and it's not great but good enough to satisfy most pizza cravings or at least keep my son happy. I'll order from them because of the right combination of price, speed of delivery, good customer service, and convenience. Delivery guys are always nice and apologetic, but in the 2 years of ordering from this store, have had over 10 orders messed up, items missing, ie sides of ranch. Salads w no dressing, halves of pizzas w no cheese. Not sure what's going on operationally with this store but something's obviously wrong. Poor customer service! I am new to Erie, and I love pizza, so I thought I would give blackjack a try. I went in and ordered a large square (pan) pizza with extra sauce, feta cheese, ham, green peppers, and mushrooms. I liked the price, $9 and some change. When I got the pizza back to my car I took a look and it looked like every thing was good, but when I got back home, upon closer inspection, it was without ham. So I called and got the person who took my order. He remembered me, but denied that I had ordered ham. He carried on, saying that he had no use for the pizza and could not re-sell it, which I knew...obviously. I am not an angry person, nor one to argue with a worker. If I'm not impressed I simply will not return. So I told the guy that it was up to him, that I had the whole pizza left, I had not eaten any of it. I was obviously not one of those people who eats most of what they get and try return if for something free. He kept saying that it wasn't his fault, and I kept saying that it was up to him. He told me that he would make a new one and to bring the other one in. When I got back there I was waiting for a while with the old pizza at the one table there is. When the new one was ready, a female worker came out and dumped it on the table, snatched the old one, and left without saying a word to me. Unfortunately for me, the first pizza clearly had extra sauce while the second one did not. The whole experience was weird and uncomfortable, and I will not be returning. I got a white pizza from there today on an off hour between lunch and dinner. It was slow in there but the staff took great care of me. The young woman who took my order and prepared my food was great from start to finish. She had great customer service at the counter and was courteous while taking my order(s). She then told me 10 minutes and was right on with the timing, the pizza was in my hands in 10 mins. In addition, the pizza came out just as the wings were getting boxed up so everything came out pipping hot. The pizza was great, it had the right amount crunch and flavor to it.
