Lucile's previously had some issues... and I decided to give it a second chance. Glad I did! The food, service, and even the challenges with wasps in the outdoor patio has improved. The Egg Sordou was amazing and the side dishes are sizable. Good overall!

Lucile's is an amazing breakfast experience! The ambiance, food and service are the best. Their locations are often in historical houses and decorated with vintage items from creole/southern culture. Their menu also reflects that with traditional southern items such as grits, chicory coffee, beignets, red beans, buttermilk biscuits etc. The biscuits are huge and fluffy! The orange juice is fresh squeezed! What more could you ask for?!

Excellent! Ate so fast no food pics. . Great atmosphere. Great service. Wonderful selection of food. Opened with some of the best Bloody Mary's I have had. Then Beignets: Homemade New Orleans style donuts! Nice. Wonderful consistency and very easy to eat. Then Eggs Pontchartrain: Fresh pan fried mountain trout, poached eggs, sauce béarnaise. Served with grits and huge buttermilk biscuit! The béarnaise sauce made it simply heaven. I can taste it now. The "jams on the table are delicious. Like the blue berry a lot. Syrup for French toast is to die for. A side of andouille goes well anytime. I will say we had at the table grits and some cheese grits. Personally I like the regular grits better. The cheese grits were nice. They also offer jalapeño cheese grits. Marvelous.

We were visiting our eldest son and visited the Erie Colorado Lucille's. We had previously visited the one in Boulder CO. They are always busy and yet the service and food are always on par and very good. The tables and such are a bit crowded together and the noise level is significant but it is not intolerable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Overall great breakfast place with a Louisiana flare.

This place is bussin the servers are quick and kind and funny and the food is really delish!

Yummy cheese omelet with the best potatoes, and a cappuccino. Next time I'll skip the bacon, not worth the extra $4.

When you step into Lucile's, come prepared with a hearty appetite because the portions are incredibly generous! The best part? The food is absolutely delicious. Personally, I'm a huge fan of their breakfast options, so much so that I haven't ventured into trying their lunch menu. My all-time favorite is the Creole Omelet, with spicy sausage and diced ham in creole sauce. I have fond memories of devouring the entire plate during my pregnancies, but these days, I'll keep half of it to enjoy at home. On my last visit, I opted for the Cheese Omelet with a mix of white cheddar, muenster, and ricotta cheeses. I added bacon for an extra $4, but it turned out to be a bit too thin and fatty for my liking. That brought my dish to $17, and I've decided to skip the bacon next time, as the omelet would have been plenty yummy on its own. I always get the potatoes, they're among the best I've ever had. I also appreciate that they have an espresso machine. My cappuccino hit the spot, and my friends loved their Chai and hot chocolate. No iced tea or coffee though. Lastly, the service was very friendly, although they really embrace the New Orleans style, not doing separate checks. You have to do the math to calculate your share and they'll charge your cards individually. The only thing I wish they'd change. Lucile's is a fantastic spot for a satisfying breakfast!

    Fresh-squeezed oj & prosecco!

Such a cute place for breakfast, loved how everything was seasoned to perfection. The beignets are a hit in my family, very nice people.

This is a cafe where they can prepare a full meal and yet you may not call it a "full service restaurant". You can also order something upfront and be on the go so I enjoyed the "casual" approach. I hadn't had my morning coffee yet; I was a bit overdue for that as a matter of fact. I first asked for the Cold Brew but the young lady upfront said they were all out of it for the day. Bummer...I hence opted for an Iced Latte. I also asked for one the traditional Greek Butter Cookies/Biscuits. And all for to go. As much as I wanted to immerse myself into the exquisite ambient atmosphere inside the cafe, I somehow shied away from doing so as most of the tables were occupied by people with some chatters (they weren't loud or anything however ); I simply wanted some "me time" all by myself in my own car. As much as this place is beautiful, the service was a bit too slow. My simple iced latte and butter cookie/biscuit took about 15 minutes before they were handed to me (while I was awaiting though, an older lady who came out of the kitchen area gave me a nice warm smile and asked if she could assist me. To which I replied, "I am waiting for my beverage and pastry ". As soon as I had said that they were finally ready. Oh boy, I almost thought they had forgotten about me!) But my patience paid off at the end. I really enjoyed my beverage and pastry especially the iced latte. It was well-made in a 16oz cup in a generous pour. The perfect mixture of the espresso shots and the milk; mmmmm!! The butter cookie/biscuit was light and had a hint of butteriness; sure was a nice accomplishment to my cold refreshing latte. The quality didn't disappoint me. While I strongly doubt that I would bother to come all the way up here just to dine at this cafe even for its cuteness, it's a nice place to remember in case I happen to find myself in the neighborhood. This place deserves a perfect 4-star review based on my experience today. And I hope that the service improves a bit in the future.

My Kofte took a little longer to come out because they made it fresh. They serve all the coffee and tea you would expect for mornings. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Recommend!
