Good cafe with nice drink options. Good location as well. Service was good and ambiance is ok.

Small and cozy with just a few tables and chairs, this coffee shop has an inviting vibe. I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk and it came topped with a beautiful leaf design in the froth. The flavor was perfectly balanced and smooth, so good that I didn't even need to add sugar. A great spot for a quality coffee.

I was greeted with, "We are closing in 20 minutes." Which, we were not planning to stay. Only get a coffee for the road. Unfortunately, the coffee also lacked in taste. Maybe I went here at a bad time. I have my own espresso machine, and have tried many coffee beans, the taste of this coffee was very bitter. I think the Barista needed a little more training to help with mastering the craft.

Decent space, fair amount of seating options. Coffee was fine. I don't think I'd come back. The cappuccino didn't have the best flavor and isn't consistent from drink to drink. Service was quick and friendly!

Great place to hang around for a minute after buying a coffee! I like the relaxed ambiance of this shop and the kind attitudes of the baristas! Really nice to pop in and pick up a coffee or just sit in for a while. Maybe they could use a little more seating! Limited syrup options unfortunately Optimal location; near the museum and other nice shops!

I love it here-- my heart was stolen before I walked in. The drawing on the easel board outside was so cute. When placing my order I had a few questions and they were answered respectfully and patiently. The wait was short and my coffee was amazing. I trusted the barista with their special drink, Spicy Ginger Mocha, and have no regrets. It was perfect. The relaxing atmosphere was the cherry on top for me, it got my creative juices flowing.

I was around the area and found this super cute cafe. I went early in the morning so there were seats scattered around. The staff was super sweet and I ordered a matcha latte. The matcha wasn't super strong but I did enjoy the ambiance and they also had wifi. Not sure if there was a bathroom, but would definitely check out if you're around.

The coffee's always spectacular, but it's the music and atmosphere that really elevate the experience. Every time I'm here, I feel like this spot was meant to be part of the UWS.

There were a lot of people going in and out of here as it seems to be pretty popular in the area. We sat here for over an hour and a half and while it was enjoyable, it's not a very memorable coffee shop. The coffee itself wasn't great as the espresso wasn't very high quality and both of our cappuccinos tasted vastly different. Emphasizing that we had a really good time sitting in here though!

Thanks to Kierlyn for a beautiful oat cappuccino at About Coffee, UWS Manhattan.

Great location. Great staff. Great vibe. Great coffee. Seating is popular, so arrive early or be patient.

I stumbled upon this place on a random weekday morning and it was pretty full! I was unfortunately disappointed by the coffee, but maybe some of their other drinks could be better. I tried the spicy ginger coffee, since it was their holiday special. It tasted horrible and I honestly couldn't finish it. Would not recommend, but maybe some others might be better. The atmosphere in here was nice and the decorations were cute! I liked the ambiance but definite pass on the holiday special latte.

I wanted a quick bite on our way to the Museum of Natural History and saw this coffee shop so stopped in. Service was prompt and cashier was friendly. There were several tables occupied and it seemed like a nice spot for a coffee date. I ate my room-temperature ham & Brie croissant on the go and was quite disappointed to have to get to the middle of the croissant to get any ham or cheese. I'd say the filling was approximately 25% of the total croissant and although it was tasty, it wasn't worth the $6.

You have to go in person to join the waitlist, and the staff will not seat you unless your full party is there. It is always fun going on the weekend because they have specialty menu items. The food is consistently tasty and served very quickly. A few highlights include: - Banh Chung | Crispy Rice Cake: A solid starter to share among two to four people. The texture is chewy with a light crispiness on the outside. There is also a vegetarian option. - Vegetarian Curry: A savory yellow curry made with a coconut milk base. Really appreciate the variety of seasonal vegetables included. - Bun Ca Hai Phong | Fried Fish and Tomato Noodle Soup: Highly recommend getting this during the weekend! A nice alternative to the typical meat-based dishes. The tilapia is lightly fried, so the tomato broth does not become overly heavy, and the dill helps cut through any extra oil to balance out the flavors. - The beef noodle soups are also very good, but are more classic options. The rice platters are great to share since the portions are generously sized. The staff are always friendly and helpful throughout the meal. Service is very fast, especially considering the restaurant has always been full.

First of all, I have to mention the prices: we got 6 pastries and 2 hot chocolates for just over $40: a steal in this economy. Second, it was mostly authentic: the "francia krémes" (which they call a "Napoleon" here for some reason) was quite close to how they serve it in Hungary, save for the caramelized and sickeningly sugary top (which I skipped). The "dobos torta" had the reverse problem: its top--the eponymous "drum"--was authentic, but the meat of it far, far too chocolatey. Guys, a slice of "dobos" is NOT supposed to put you in a diabetic coma! It is not even meant to be very chocolatey! It is supposed to be much more subtle, even savory. The pastries we took home, which included several "rétesek," received high reviews as well. The servers were nice, but did not speak Hungarian. My only other critique would be that the space is incredibly cramped. You will be elbow-to-elbow with various Columbia students. My companion also told me the bathroom was filthy.
