I wish I would've all these 1 star reviews before even contacting them. I had a water heater installation scheduled. Made time to be ready at home. They first blew off the morning installation, said they'd be there "between 1-3pm". I adjusted my schedule. Not a word by 3:30pm. So I called. Then it was "we'll be there soon". By 5pm, still no show. Then both the service tech and their office stopped answering. Worst part: I just saw they didn't even pick up the water heater! I had signed up for an A/C maintenance check from a lady at a Home Depot booth for $28. Before the appointment date our ac went out. I called and they said it would be $69 plus parts. Since we were on vacation and my daughter has a medical condition that she is supposed to be in an area under 72 degrees I said yes. The tech was out that afternoon and repaired it, but the bill was $650.01. I specifically asked for all the old/replaced parts be left for me. They were. After looking up the 2 small parts, neither one was over $40. I called them requesting, again, an invoice showing the parts and part #s. It has now been a week and I have still not received a reply. I'm about to call the WA state Attorney General, Consumer Affairs, and file a complaint. read more

Man, terrible experience: No-showed on their 9-11am window. Then, I call at 11 to make sure everything is ok and they say they will call back shortly with a new time. I never get a call. So, I call them again at 1 and they have no answers for where the technician was, why I wasn't notified about the cancelation because apparently he called in sick that morning, or why they never called me back earlier. Their solution was to come up in another in 8 days time, ANOTHER 8 DAYS. When I originally made the appointment and during this whole conversation, I made it clear that the (relatively) minor work needed to be done asap so we can finish closing the home loan with our bank which clearly meant nothing. I am still in shock. It's like they wanted to lose a customer. Just wild. read more

Wanted an estimate for a 26kw generac home generator so scheduled appointment through Home Depot (I guess Trademark is contracted with them). They were an hour late to the appointment and their estimate for installation was $16,000, not including the price of the generator. I would need to buy the generator from Home Depot for an additional $8,500. Over $24,000 for a back up generator? You are smoking crack Trademark. I realize these things cost money but that is ridiculous. Guy who came out was nice but this company's pricing is absurd. I would not recommend them even if we had the money and will surely get a few more estimates. I forgot to mention we already had natural gas ran for a generator when we built the house so the spot was already prepped. read more

Beware, they will try to sell you all kinds of parts at outrageous prices. I was very suspicious because of sales tactics over the past two years. A tech told me, for the third year in a row, that a set of contacts had high resistance. The tech changed it the first year at $350. The 2nd year, we were told it was on its way out again, but we showed him the paperwork and he backed off. The 3rd time, they changed the small part again, in under 5 minutes, at $385. Then the tech saw a small dent in the water heater expansion tank. He said it would fail, and it was going to be $385 also. I know how the expansion tanks work and have changed several over the years, when replacing a water heater. The tank was probably dropped during installation nearly nine years ago. I told him I would do it myself, when it fails. This tank has a sight glass that discolors when it fails. A new tank is $35 to $50 at hardware stores and I can change it in less than 20 minutes. read more

Instillation of the hot water tank on 11/21/25 Geoffrey Magnuson Informed me that all employees where certified and license, But the two that installed the water heater where not certified or license. Workers where polite, but disappointed that the hole from the old pipe on the floor was not sprayed with insulation and the new piping going outside where not sealed up from the inside and the outside had aluminum shards from the drilled-out holes, and 1 old shut off valve wasn't replaced. After the city inspection on 12/01/25 they forgot to install expansion tank to water system and used the wrong copper piping. Now I am waiting for the certified and license person to do the repairs on 12/10/25 and the city inspector to inspect again on 12/11/25. Not sure why a certified and license person didn't inspect workers after it was installed, that would have fixed the missing work and part that should have been done before the city of Coeur d Alene to do their inspection. Making me wait at home for people on 5 different days 3 of those days costing me a lost income of $500.00. Took one day for the appointment to install but after full payment on installing day now it's taking 9 days to fix what they didn't do in the first place. Repairs were done on 12/10/2025. inspector appointment on 12/11/2025 was a no show and changed to 12/12/25 from 8:00am to 11:00 am but didn't show up until 1:30pm and there still was a problem with the piping on the outside. So now another appointment has to be made. read more

I hired this company through Home Depot to install a mini-split system that I purchased online. The install was done on new construction with them initially doing the rough-in and then later on the actual hook-up of equipment. To their credit, they were willing to do this job where others would not respond. Their price was very expensive, but we were desperate at that point. Initially, the system worked fine, but within a couple of months, it started throwing error codes and shutting down. Trademark did respond and did an inspection of outside coolant connections and refilled the coolant at no charge. A few months later, the error codes and shutdown returned. Again, Trademark came out to troubleshoot the system. This time, their technician blamed the compressor, at which point I was forced to purchase an entirely new compressor because the online vendor did not have replacement parts. Trademark also gave me a (high) quote to install the new compressor. By this time, I was losing confidence in them and got a second quote for installation from another local company at about 1/2 the cost. The new installation also seemed to go well, and the new company identified loose connections on the coolant connections to the compressor. The equipment worked for another few months - low coolant. The new company came out and did another pressure check and refilled the coolant yet again, thinking there was not enough charge in the new compressor for the line set length. A few more months - more error codes and low coolant. This time the new company came out and inspected the interior coolant connections done by Trademark. It took about an hour, but the tech found a loose flare connection to one of the head units. The flare connection done by Trademark was put on hand-tight and never properly torqued. All told, this loose connection has cost me 6 - 7 thousand dollars in (unnecessary) replacement equipment, installation, and service calls. Trademark was quick to blame the equipment to avoid responsibility for their poor workmanship. There is no way I could recommend Trademark. Their prices are very high, and their workmanship and service are of low quality. read more

2 years ago they had a fantastic service (5stars) and put in our new air heat pump system flawlessly. I was very pleased. But unfortunately then the service started degrading slowly. After 2 years the regular service plans got exorbitantly expensive. We got a recent discounted tune up service this year (2024), which was great again. But the aftermath of trying to get any information and pricing about one single issue found during the inspection, was simply ignored. No reply despite 2 phone calls in over one week. This is NOT the former customer service anymore, and there is major need of educating their customer service staff! For that negligent behavior we down grade our review to 2 stars! read more

I have never felt the need to write a review for any company in the past, but the last several months with Trademark have finally pushed me to do so. I bought a Heat Pump from trademark back in mid May and they did give me an amazing deal which I appreciated a lot. The instal was immediately scheduled and went smoothly and I was very happy with that part of the process. Then things went downhill fast. Starting with the original set of inspections, we scheduled over the phone and I was very clear about my work schedule and when I would be home. I was also clear that I have construction happening next door so often wear noise canceling headphones so would the inspector please call me when he arrives in addition to knocking (I didn't think this was an outrageous demand). The first time the inspector came out it was not during the agreed times and I was at work so we had to reschedule. The second time we were able to complete the inspection and the heat pump did not pass. (There was a part missing that honestly i don't understand because I am not that familiar with AC units) I called to schedule the fix with trademark again letting them know my work schedule and finding a time when I would be home. No one showed up on the scheduled time frame and there was no communication with me so I called Trademark on my way to work. We rescheduled for the next week at the same time, which was the 4th of July. I double checked that this was possible because of the holiday and they assured me they would be out in the 4 hour window. I wasn't stoked about losing my holiday to wait for them but I wanted things to be fixed in a timely manner. Trademark once again failed to show up and I wasted half my holiday waiting for them. Two hours after the window I got a call saying they could be there in 15 minutes - I had already given up half my holiday and left home to enjoy the rest. They offered to come out the next morning and finally I was able to get the part installed correctly and pass the follow up inspection. Flash forward to this week, my thermostat was popping up an error about the system not cooling sufficiently so I called Trademark to set up an appointment to get it checked. They assured me since it was recent there would be no charge for the visit and we scheduled a window outside of my work hours. That window was yesterday from 8-12. (I start work at 12 and they told me they would do their best to come at the earlier part of that window.) I received a call yesterday morning around 11 that they could arrive at 12:15 - after the window and after I would be at work. We rescheduled for this morning. Finally got a technician to show up, showed him the error and he said it must me a thermostat problem and that he would need to charge to look at it. For all I know it could be a thermostat issue but I asked him to double check the heat pump just to make sure, and he refused saying "I've seen this before." So now I have wasted more time waiting for technicians to not arrive than actually being helped and they did nothing to address my issue anyway. Terrible customer service. If you know enough about A/C to do everything after the install yourself, I'm sure they're great because as I said I did get a good deal on the unit, however if you're like me and have to rely on them to fix issues (and value your time) I would very much recommend avoiding Trademark. read more

First, other reviews with high ratings are either old, or from other states. Newer reviews for North Idaho are mostly negative. Our utility company sent out a notice that 3 types of discounts are available for energy efficient heating systems for participating contractors. So we contacted Trademark, which gave us a figure that only included the down payment and financed monthly payment amounts, not the final purchase amount. They installed the system in two rooms. Unfortunately they reversed the larger unit in the smaller room, and vv. They later came out to fix that problem. But we have an ongoing issue of not being able to get an accurate invoice for the purpose of receiving a tax rebate. And no one there has any idea how to process the manufacturers discount to pass on to us. We've called the office about 10 times, and the answer is always, "We'll pass this on to the team." This apparently is code for, "Stop bugging us, this is going directly into the circular file." This team management approach is a neat way of avoiding accountability to solve problems. The managers hide behind front line staff who answer the phone. The guys who did the work were nice, but I expect more than that for a $13,000 purchase. read more

Please be aware that this business has changed hands and is no longer affiliated with the previous owner. This will document the problems we continue to have with the hot water heater and recirculation kit that were installed by Trademark Mechanical on September 8, 2020. We asked for a bid for a tankless hot water heater for our residence and an on-demand heater to be installed at our kitchen sink. The salesman showed us our options for a tankless water heater, then talked us into installing a recirculation kit to the kitchen sink instead, saying it was a cheaper and better way to accomplish getting the water hot faster. After both were installed, the hot water heater worked as we expected. However the recirculation system did not. The water at the kitchen sink was now always hot. This occurred whether we used the hot or cold water. To get the water cold, we had to run the cold water at the sink for a long time. We called Trademark to complain and they sent a technician out. When the technician arrived, we described the problem we were having. He said that was how a recirculation kit worked. We said we were not happy with that and he suggested unhooking the recirculation kit. We decided to do that, but we were not happy, as we'd paid for the recirculation kit and now had no demand hot water at the kitchen sink. Shortly after his visit, we started having problems with the hot water heater. When we turned on the faucet in the shower, it would take a while for the water to get hot. We would then get in the shower and the water would suddenly get cold again. If you continued to run the water, it would gradually get hot and then stay hot. We again called Trademark to complain that now the hot water heater was not working properly. They sent a technician out. He said that when they turned the recirculation kit off, they forgot to change one setting on the hot water heater and that was causing the problem. He changed the setting and left. The problem with the "cold water sandwich" continued. We complained to Trademark again about the hot water heater. Another technician came out. He told us that since it ran alright at first after servicing, it probably needed to be flushed more often. He serviced the hot water heater at that visit. Shortly after, the "cold water sandwich" returned. On top of that, we now have a loud noise that we hear periodically throughout the day and night, even when the hot water isn't running. We complained to Trademark again about the hot water heater. Another technician came out. He told us that we needed a water softener for the hot water heater to run correctly. The quote for the water softener was ridiculous and we were very upset that no one previously had told us we needed a water softener for the water heater to work properly. My husband bought a flush kit and flushed the water heater himself. Approximately six months later, on December 9, 2024, a technician came to service the furnace and the hot water heater. We told him about the issues we had with both the hot water heater and the recirculation system since the beginning. He witnessed the "cold water sandwich". He checked everything on the water heater and said everything was working properly. He wondered if the loud noise we hear is the internal recirculation that the system does since the external circulation was disabled. He then checked with a plumber at Trademark and told us that the plumber said the recirculation kit was installed incorrectly. The plumber said it should have been installed with a dedicated return line under the house, instead of using the cold water as a return. One option was installing the dedicated return and reactivating the recirculation system might solve the problem with the hot water heater. He quoted us a price of $1,600. Another option was to reinstall the recirculation system as it was originally installed, but to fix the "timing" of the recirc so that it happened less frequently, which should minimize any hot water being drained into the cold water line. There would also be a charge for this. He also found that the elevation setting on the hot water heater had NEVER been set. He set it to the correct setting while he was here and suggested we try that for a couple of days, as it might make a difference. Trademark now refuses to fix this problem, either by changing the timing on the recirculation system or by installing a dedicated line, without us paying for it. According to them, they bought the name, but are not under any obligation to warranty the service. We will be taking our business to a competitor. read more

I have tried other companies in the past but every time I go through Trademark my expectations are always met! But I recently had the pleasure to meet Tyssen! He was absolutely incredible, so professional, very kind and respectful! He came in and got our problem fixed in a timely manner and any questions we had he had an excellent answer. He was an excellent service man to have helping us with our problems, I truthfully don't know much about what he was doing but my husband does and my husband said he was a "intelligent, hard working young man" and that he was! A new deluxe Carrier furnace was purchased from Trademark Mechanical in January 2022. We had them out to service it a year ago. And we change the filter every three months . . . But today, with the temperature below zero, it stopped heating and showed an error code. We called. She told us that someone would be out "between 3:00 and 6:00 pm." Then she called back an hour later and said that she had "read the calendar wrong" and they could not come out until next week. I said "you are going to leave us without heat for a week?" No reply, except that they could come a week from today. Simply unacceptable. Going elsewhere. Recommend avoiding this company. read more

I made an appointment on March 20th for an AC tune up scheduled for May 22nd. I received a call on May 19th cancelling my appointment due to the weather/heat and no technicians available. What a horrible way to do business! So I'm left unable to run my AC because other customers who scheduled last minute were more important? Then I reached out to them by email the same day (May 19th) and they NEVER responded (today is June 6th). Not even an apology for poor scheduling or to attempt to reschedule. I will NEVER use them and will be sure everyone I know knows of their TERRIBLE work ethic. read more

The best thing I can say about trademark is the guys were generally nice, besides that they have been a nightmare. I had them do the work in my brand new house. My brand new air-conditioning did not work. It took them over a month to get it fixed. I don't believe it is fixed properly. They left the gas line in my garage with a significant gas leak. They did poor workmanship on the pvc in my attic. It ended up leaking and my ceiling caved in. This was within a year of installation. They refused to fix it. I have pics and videos. They only primed and did not glue couplers. I ended up fixing it myself. I am in the process of suing them. I am going to rail these guys. Do not hire these guys whatever you do. I guess pink trucks are good marketing if you can't stand behind your workmanship. read more

That is why we had them fix our furnace without doing research...big, costly mistake. We were feeling the need to have it fixed ASAP because it was leaking, but wish we did a quick search before. Now in 2023, CONSUMER BEWARE! I encourage everyone to shop around before Trademark Mechanical takes advantage of you too! We were charged over $700 for a 15 minute pump replacement that 3 other local companies charged under $200 for (parts and labor! Part was only $49). The kicker is, it still leaked after and my husband had to fix it! Then we were going to get a new furnace and AC with them, but the exact system they were selling us for $17,000+, we were quoted $9,500 by another reputable company. Plus, those other companies were honest and even advised us not to get a new system yet. They won't make it right and refund us, only offer the credit on their next overpriced service. Trademark and their rep Perrin, who came and quoted the job, were extremely professional. Perrin walked the job and explained in detail what they would do. The techs came after we approved the job, and were on time, communicative, and just good people. In fact, everyone I interacted with at the company was really, really great. You can tell they have a solid company culture that is shared from the top to the bottom. Very refreshing to work with a company like that. They bring a city inspector out to sign off on the work so you know everything is up to code. These people do things the right way. Highly recommend Trademark. read more

ZERO stars -- RUN, don't walk, away from this disreputable, dishonest business! As with other reviews here I experienced their phony "damaged heat exchanger" scam as their opening to try to sell me a new system, which fortunately I did NOT buy. A second inspection from a reputable heating & AC company disproved Trademark's lie. I accepted a solicitation by Trademark Mechanical at a table they had set-up in the local Home Depot for an inspection of my furnace, heat pump, thermostat, and hot water tank for $68. On June 9, 2023, James Christiansen from Trademark Mechanical arrived to perform those inspections. He removed a panel from the back of the furnace and inserted a camera into the furnace to inspect the heat exchanger. He declared the heat exchanger has a hole in it and that this is a dangerous condition that can result in carbon monoxide being discharged into the home. The fix would be for an expensive replacement of the heat exchanger or replacement of the entire furnace as sometimes heat exchanger replacements do not go well and can lead to other problems. He had me sign a waiver indicating that I had been informed of this defect and that continued operation of the furnace would be at my own risk and responsibility. He had his office call me to schedule an appointment with a sales representative. I did not accept that appointment. My furnace stopped producing heat immediately after Christiansen's visit. Christiansen then inspected my heat pump / air conditioner -- which was working just fine -- and declared that an "electrolytic condenser" -- a simple capacitor -- was .05 microfarads (a tiny amount) outside of parameters (37.55 instead of 37.6) and that this was a bad thing and the capacitor should be replaced immediately. I am a senior (age 73) suffering from cancer and am on strong medications. I think that Christiansen sensed my vulnerability and took full advantage of me. I authorized him to replace that capacitor, for which he charged me $491 + tax. Christiansen said he was giving me a "discount" on the cost of the capacitor. Later, thinking that the price for this simple part and the simple labor to install it (he was already here on the inspection, so no service call) was awfully high. So I called Sturm Heating & Air Condition in Spokane (a local, longtime and very reputable business) asking for the price of that capacitor. Answer: $35.84 + tax (total $39.06)! Trademark charged over 13 times that amount! I then scheduled a service call with Sturm Heating to inspect my furnace on June 28, 2023. Sturm technician Ryley inspected my furnace and found NO faults with the heat exchanger, which is working perfectly. He said that a camera inspection is NOT necessary to inspect a heat exchanger. Further, he found that a wire to the limiter switch had been disconnected (obviously by James Christiansen), which is why the furnace was not producing heat. I called Trademark to complain about this ridiculous and unfair price and they sent me a check for $100 (dated June 13), apparently as a partial refund of this gross overcharge. I cashed the check but did NOT accept this as final resolution of this obvious unfair, deceptive, and fraudulent business practice and gross overcharge -- obviously taking advantage of an ill senior. Repeated calls requesting a call back from management have not been returned. read more

I'm not sure what's going on at Trademark since the buyout, but it seems to be run by amateurs. I have mad four calls over three weeks trying to shedule an appointment for a warranty repair on the home standby generator they installed last year but no one will call me back. Because this what I believe to be a warranty breach I am escalating the issue further. CONSUMER BEWARE, times are already difficult, unreliable companies just make things worse. read more

I use these guys a little over 2 years ago and they were absolutely awesome in every way you could think of. I have since tried to bring them back out to service my new system only to get the runaround and never get a call back. I tried for 4 months. I just got off the phone with them again today only to get more excuses and send me off to another person that was never going to call back. I have since found out that the company sold and are no longer the company I came to know with professionalism and integrity. I warn anyone who's looking at using these guys, don't! Before I had realized that they had sold the company I recommended them to my daughter who needed a new heating system as well and I couldn't believe the nightmare she was going through and told her I never had any of those issues, I won't bother to list the calamity of errors that she went through except to say the one that topped it all was the guy who was out quit right in front of her anyway if you're looking for a company with integrity and professionalism, cleanliness and knowledgeable look elsewhere I promise you you will regret going to these guys. I was hesitant to use Trademark since they aren't our normal service provider. I should have stuck with my gut instinct. They had a sponsored ad on Facebook for a tune-up on A/C and furnace, as well as a water tank flush. I needed only the water tank flush, but figured I'd have them all done for the low price of $58. The two techs split up on arrival, one handling the A/C unit and the other the furnace and water tank. After a while, one of them came back inside and was telling me about some serious issues with the furnace. Through the explanation, he asked when the house was built (2012), then stated that the hot water tank was manufactured in 2006 and the furnace in 2004. Regarding the repairs, he told me that because they are so old, I'm basically looking at needing to replace the unit and could expect an expense of several thousand dollars. The tech working on the A/C came in and told me it looked good, which I stated was great since it was installed in Fall 2022. He then told me it was manufactured in 2008. So, while they wrapped up, I proceeded to call the builder for my house, upset why they would put such old equipment in my 2012 built house and prepared myself to call the company that installed my AC. When signing paperwork, they told me it was shady that such old equipment was being used but that they would come in the next day to replace. They immediately called to get me on the calendar tomorrow to have someone bid a new furnace at a minimum, but prepared me to replace the hot water tank as well. Fortunately, after they left, being so upset, I began looking up manufacturer information. I was able to confirm that the A/C unit was manufacturer just months prior to the install and the furnace and water tank just months before the house was completed in 2012. At the end of it, I'm unsure if I even ended up having my water tank flushed. Whether this was an innocent misunderstanding of reading the serial number, it's hard not to feel upset that fear was used to push me into potentially spending several thousands of dollars. I did call them on this, as well as pointing out to the builder and the installed of our A/C that this inaccurate information may be getting out to other customers. I don't think I can find trust in this company with those types of errors. read more

Horrible Service. Salesman was extremely misleading. Our furnace had multiple failures beginning with the day on install. Unable to reach a manager or owner (because they live in Southern Idaho... not locally). When they installed the furnace, they didn't hook up the gas correctly and we ended up realizing there was a gas leak in our garage for approximately a month. We were offered a one-time offer of 10% off for the issues we had... so, they basically acknowledge they did a crappy job but wouldn't offer us a refund or to replace the furnace. Frustrating company to work with. Attentive when there were thousands of dollars on the line for a new furnace, but then impossible to get ahold of after the money had been paid. The gentleman who came and did the quote was nice enough but promised many things that apparently "couldn't be done" when the installers came. We have failed our inspection twice now. Trademark was supposed to set up the inspection as part of the service, but this did not happen. It took 6 phone calls and a lot of texts to get them to set up the first inspection, and not much better for the second. They did not use a drop sheet and we now have purple drips of pvc glue on the floor. Luckily it's just on cement. We didn't care about all of the plastic shavings left behind because that's an easy clean up, but I wasn't happy about the sharp screws left on the floor that our children could have stepped on. They also did not caulk around the exhaust holes they drilled in the side of the house. Easy enough to do myself but I figured that would be standard of practice. Having failed two inspections we didn't have much confidence in having them make corrections again. We had another company come and make the changes needed. The actual furnace is good quality, but for the price we paid (fairly expensive compared to other companies) I figured the service would be better. Luckily we didn't decide to have them replace the AC at the same time. I will say the installers were all very kind but customer service and quality control has been sub par in general. They have good reviews online so fortunately others have had a better experience but sadly that was not our case. read more

My furnace fan stopped working so I contacted Trademark Mechanical to get it fixed, given that the temperatures were heading to the mid-twenties. At first, I was disappointed to hear that it would be at least a couple weeks before a repair-person could be dispatched to my house. However, an hour later I received a call saying that a repairman could come right over if that worked for me. It did! Perrin, the repairman, was very pleasant and extremely competent. He quickly diagnosed the problem as being the control board. He replaced the board, retested it, and all was well in after about 45 minutes of work. I would have given 5 stars but for the cost. The total cost of the fix was $595. Fortunately, I had a home warranty and my copay was only $75. It is interesting to note that the retail cost of the Control Board (HK42FZ034) is only $300 (Google it), so the cost of the labor was close to $300! Hence the loss of a star. read more

WARNING!!!!!! Company was sold!!! Trademark was sold to a seeming scam company out of Boise last fall. The great reviews are the old company. On a routine service call I was told my furnace needed immediate replacement because it was cracked, leaking carbon monoxide, dangerous, out of warranty and too small for my square footage. The new unit was just under $10,000 which I ordered in fear of carbon monoxide poisoning. After questioning the validity of the so called state of the art probe cameras and the warranty I was told management had seen the pictures and confirmed the large crack and told it was definitely out of warranty. All 4 statements proved to be false based on a second opinion and even admitted by two more of their techs whom I allowed back in so I could prove my second opinion. What I find unfathomable is that 5 weeks and 8 or 9 phone calls later.... no formal apology, no restitution, no explanation but was asked " what's the problem you didn't actually write the check" . Senior management never available but if you react to the lack of care, responses, long holds or blow offs, you're treated as difficult. I was told multiple times that they were sending something via mail which I never received. I've since found out it's happened to many others and their sales training is specifically telling them to use scare tactics . They've also apparently fraudulently switched manufacturers labels. I had the company instal a new furnace and heat pump/ac unit in 2021. It all worked fine through the first winter, until time to change to ac. Then had to diagnose no cooling. Determined a faulty valve of some kind, and suspected coolant leak/ all under warranty, but supply chain issues kept heat pump disabled for the entire next winter, and then charged me over 1400$ to drain/recharge system coolant in order to install valve. Warranty only covered the part, not labor or system coolant. - fast forward one year, and now again changed thermostat system to cool and the system kicks on and runs constantly without cooling even 1 degree in 3 hours of constant blowing. Call on a Wednesday to have them come out asap -suprised to be told they could do it that Friday! Get a call on Friday letting me know " that several of their technicians had called out that day and they would not be able to come until the next Thursday." Fine, made that appointment. Thursday, mid day, get a call, " short on technicians, can't come today, earliest we can be there is next Tuesday" I work 12 hrs on Tuesdays - on hold for 15 min - " Oh, you are still there? The earliest we can get someone there is Monday" Grrr- made the appointment Monday, get a call - " short on technicians and can't come until Thursday" 3rd strike, last chance, made the appointment for 2-5pm. Thursday at 1:49pm get a call, "short on technicians today, can't come. Could come next Tuesday". Never again!!!! Waste of time! read more

We had a very surprising and disappointing experience recently with Trademark. A senior tech, Matt, came to our home to give us a quote on two new furnaces and a heat pump. He was friendly and professional, which was encouraging. But over the following full week, I was unable to get ANY kind of follow up from Matt and NEVER received a quote. I called Trademark three times to ask for someone to follow up with us (including Matt and the "Sales Manager"), but we never heard from anyone. I don't recall something like this ever happening to me before. So we've obviously moved on to another large supplier in our town who was very responsive. read more

I used Trademark for a humidifier instillation. I chose trademark because they were the company that installed the mechanical in my new home. However this was not a good experience. First I should have gotten more than one bid, this was a really big mistake, very expensive. The instillation crew showed up on time and were friendly and nice to work with. This was necessary because they were not completely up to speed on the product. They were not aware that hot water was the preferred water the unit needed. They were not aware about the placement of the controller which had to be reinstalled. All and all not a good experience, I will not be using this company again. read more

I called Trademark to get a quote on a new HVAC system. After giving my all of my information to a representative, I was told that the next person who contacted me would be able to give me a quote. I was contacted the next day by a woman who asked for all the same information I gave previously, only to be told she couldn't give me a quote but would pass my information on to a representative that could. I was finally texted later that day by a woman named Lisa, who asked me for all the same information I had already given. She asked me several times for a picture of the the heating and AC units, which I explained I could not provide because I was at work. I gave her every specification of the units and was still told that she needed pictures and that they "don't quote blind". I have since received quotes from several other companies who didn't need half the information Trademark did. Clearly they don't want your business, I highly advise looking elsewhere for your HVAC needs. read more

I would like to take a few moments to share my VERY POSITIVE experience with Trademark Mechanical and in particular, with the service tech they sent to my house for an HVAC tune-up and water heater drain. His name is MAGNUSON and this young man is an absolute ASSET to the Trademark Mechanical team. He is extremely polite and courteous, but also very knowledgeable and efficient. I asked him if he minded that I observed him while he performed the tune-up and maintenance. He of course said it would be no problem. I asked him numerous questions about the procedures he was performing and he was quick to politely explain all of them. He complimented the installation of my HVAC system, even though it was installed by a different company. When it came to the water heater drain, we both discovered that this would not be as easy or straightforward, due to the water heater being in a pan with a raised lip, preventing the easy attachment of the drain hose on the hose bib of the water heater. Instead of telling me it could not be done, MAGNUSON presented some suggestions to me, and we were both able to create a workaround to facilitate the drainage process. Overall, I could not have been more pleased with my experience with Trademark Mechanical, and in particular with MAGNUSON. He is a breath of fresh air in a society that seems to just not care about going the extra mile to provide a wonderful customer experience, anymore these days. As a retired Firefighter, I recognize what outstanding customer service is, as that is what my ultimate goal was on the job. I requested service in October for a bathroom exhaust fan making a noise (new construction) and hvac issue. It took two weeks for anyone to return my call. evidently the people taking messages don't pass them on. Finally someone comes out goes over everything and informs me someone will get back to me in a couple of days. I wait 2 weeks to call back. I leave a message with the person who set up last appointment, no return call (this was on a Friday). I call back Monday leave another message. The following Wednesday I finally get to talk to the first person I spoke with 2 1/2 weeks earlier, she promised she would look into it and call back by the end of the day. Imagine my surprise when that didn't happen and I call back on Friday she tells me she was "busy". I threatened going to the better business bureau with my complaints as well as social media.
