They are thicker than the French, but maintain the delicacy and ability to hold their contents well by delicious elasticity. I ordered three to go (Massachusetts, Virginia and New York), all of which had either roast chicken, mushroom and/or spinach, cheese and sautéed onion stuffed within. Go to their website for details. They were each large and folded to fit into the small brown sandwich bags, and then housed in a sized cardboard box. The weight surprised pleasantly, and encouraged to get home to sample. Although a little oily on the surface as they cooled, the taste of each was spectacularly delicious. Each used excellent ingredients, with the flavor of roast chicken and/or mushroom & onions captivating the buds. Melted cheese, perhaps a bit runny, added to the experience. Loved them all. The operation was run this day by two women (mother & daughter), who were charmingly modest; who seemed to appreciate our interaction. I will be looking for United Crepes on upcoming weekends. It is one of the great choices available as selected by Newtown Brewing to keep their customers and the surrounding community excited by the prospect of tasty fun food right in the neighborhood.

Don't like to show my local cultural ignorance, but until yesterday I didn't know what the word,…read more"jawn" meant. I'd heard it, but never used it in my years in and around Philadelphia. Well, my opportunity to find out arrived when I saw the Eat This Jawn food truck parked in the Newtown Brewery parking lot. The large red trailer was emblazoned with a logo of a spectacled dude holding a huge cheeseburger with drops of grease squirting out. That was an image I could support and put in my belly. So, I did. I chatted with the owner of the business and his family as he prepared my Smashed Burger Diablo (jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, hot sauce on brioche roll). They come from the restaurant business (Pizza World) and are now second generation with the third in full participation. The burger, packaged in recyclable paper box and loaded with crisp fries, was delicious. Steaming, aroma strong, soft semi-sweet roll, with a nice spicy bite and chew. The light green jalapeños were almost translucent from their time on hot steel. I totally enjoyed the conversation with these guys, and the opportunity to learn from the experience, while stuffing face with an excellent burger. So, what does "jawn" mean? Simply, "thing." Could be person, place or anything else. Now you and I both know! PS. Returned the following day to try the Eat This Jawn cheesesteak. It was a very big boy wit and jalapeños on Lissio seeded torpedo. With a few ketchup squirts it was as delicious as the Diablo Burger. Not overly chopped so it held its moisture, with the right amount of 'Peno heat and onion savories to make it quite memorable for an off the truck sandwich. Asked the important question - What are your names? The answer: Lou, Lou and Ronnie (son, dad & mom). Can't help, but be thinking; Ronnettes!

The day of my event was perfect, and the food was delicious. Large portions done very well, Mac and Cheese and shrimp tacos were my personal favorite; however the remainder of the options for my event were equally delicious. I hosted 100 people for a surprise birthday party and everyone in attendance pretty much complimented the food. The two staff members working my event couldn't have been nicer, friendlier, accommodating, and down to earth; they even needed to help trick the birthday boy as he approached the establishment for his event, they did AWESOME and we had some good chats and laughs in between. It rained off and on the day of my event and the covered awning on the truck came in super handy and made the bouts of rain that came and went that make easier to manage. I highly recommend Jeremiah's Food Truck Catering company for your next event, you will not be disappointed that you decided to work with Jeremiah and his team.

We found out that most of the people (regulars) who usually come here are on their vacation season so it was not an issue getting a six-top reservation with only a day's notice. The restaurant is huge with at least two mega rooms downstairs and one upstairs. We actually went to the upstairs door to check in only to be told we had to go to the downstairs door and check in there. Once we did, the staff asked if we would be ok with being in the "party" room where there would be a DJ. We were fine with that and the staff was more than happy to accommodate us. Once at our table, the extensive menus made it almost too difficult to decide what we wanted. May want to consider reducing the food options here. My wife and I split a tomahawk steak. Once we ordered it, we were told we should probably move to an eight-top because we would have more space. The place was almost empty at 6:15pm on a Saturday so we got to move and give us some more room. We also had two serving of Plov, a prime NY strip, a roasted beet salad, and a chicken fingers with fries. We added some bread, too, along with some compote. The Plov was some of the best we've ever had with lots of tender meat. Both steaks were cooked to our liking. Fries were killer and the chicken fingers were fine. I did not care for the compote as I'm used to it with fruit still in the drink. At about 7pm, the DJ started but there was no separate party which is what we thought was going to show up. The DJ sang some and played up-tempo dance music but also threw in some known music like Ob-Bla-Dee Ob-Bla-Dah from the Beatles also in the dance music style. So much fun after drinking a lot of our BYOB alcohol. Service was excellent and more than accommodating for us. He even advised when we were getting ready to leave that it was raining hard and we could stay until it died down. The restaurant is colorful with lights and designs on the walls including projector lights and white linen sheets above. The place was clean and also the bathrooms on the lower rear level. $305 not including tip for six adults which included two steaks, two Plov, chicken fingers with fries, three breads, and a compote. I mention a lot with my reviews that I'd come back to a place. I really can't wait to return to Samarkand! It was just a lot of fun with excellent food and service. I hope it's just as good when the place is slammed and full.
