Stopped by here for lunch after shopping at the mall; literally could not believe how good the food was! This is inside the small food court area of Franklin/Philadelphia Mills mall near to Old Navy/Walmart/movie theatre. Food was pretty good. Ordered 2 combo over rice platters ($8)-not bad at all! The combo gets you a choice of two items to go over the seasoned yellow rice, along with salad and pita on the side. We got Lamb with chicken and fried fish (choice of talapia or whiting) with chickpeas. Meats were very well seasoned and the salad that comes with was fresh. The whiting was also flavorful and fried nicely (be careful of the bones). The pita was freshly grilled with a little crunch-very good. Rice was ok. We ate in the food court to avoid the food smell permeating the place with the open kitchen. The woman taking the orders seemed a bit annoyed by a customer asking questions about the offerings, but it got sorted out. I'd return if at this mall. read more

Easily the best halal platter place in the area. Tend to get overlooked because its a cart on the side of a gas station but don't let that fool you. This is a hidden gem in the Bensalem area that will make you come visit over and over. We try to come here at least once a week. A major fan of the chicken/lamb rice combo. Always ask for extra white and hit sauce. The falafel platter is also great as they're fried to perfection and still somehow piping hot when I get home. Prices are about average for one of these carts, least from my experiences elsewhere. I legit could eat this daily. You'd be missing out if you don't take a chance on this place. read more

Came to the mall to see Black Panther and I was starving afterward. In typical mall fashion, there wasn't much to choose from and we came across this place. There was a good amount of choices on the menu but I love a good Falafel dish. My husband and I ordered the Falafel with rice. Everything is made to order! This platter included about 6 Falafel, yellow rice, salad and pita bread. You can also get fries and a drink. There's a few sauces you can put on it if you like but I got them on the side. I would say I didn't come for air while eating lol. Could have been the combo of me starving and it being delicious. Only complaint was the Falafel was over cooked on the outside so it was hard to cut into. Salad, rice and pita combo I loved. And I always love some fries. Delicious! I just started working in the area and went to the mall food court for lunch.This place looked like the most appealing option and I was not disappointed. It was right at 11:00 and I was their first customer. The man working was extremely friendly and took care of my order in a quick fashion. I waited about 5-7 minutes, I didn't think that was bad for first opening. I got the Combo Chicken & Lamb over rice, it was so good. The amount of food and quality of food was well worth the price. i am a real falafel foodie...'cause i am NOT gonna tell you that i've never met a falafel i didn't like! THIS, my friends, is not one of them. THIS is probably...no...this IS the best falafel i have had in a looooooong time! not only is it cooked to perfection - NOT dry - but the sauce was so different from what i am used to. i asked if it was tzatziki and the guy said it was, but their own recipe. well, guys, don't ever stray from it because it's amazing! so, i had a falafel "sandwich" on a perfect pita with, as they put it, white sauce & hot sauce (just a little hot sauce) with fresh veggies on it but no so much as to overpower the sandwich. my husband had a sandwich with beef - similar prep, but he had more hot sauce than i did - and we shared a yummy salad. the salad had tzatziki and feta and it was also terrific. i never leave a salad unfinished but the meals was really filling, so...unfinished it was. i have wanted to try this place before but only noticed it last time we were at phila mills when we were on our way out. This is for the restaurant in the Franklin Mills Mall. I visited this restaurant in early September. Got the falafel over rice. It was terrible. The rice was very rubbery and I could not eat much of it. It was very dry as well. The falafel were in those perfect balls indicative of a pre-made frozen preparation. I am not sure, they were really small though and not very tasty. The salad was laughable and there were no side sauces like cilantro offered as I didn't want Tahini. I thought it was a waste of money and I could have went to a falafel truck and been more satisfied. Next time I will follow my instinct as I will not return here. I will give them this, the staff was very friendly and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. But the food was terrible. read more
