Two words: white sauce!!! Got the lamb gyro platter to-go and didn't realize that there was a white sauce nestled in the middle so went back to ask for more; and BOY, am I glad that I did! The food itself is really good, and the pita is seasoned with herbs or something which makes it taste like it wasn't bought at Shop Rite. But the white sauce has chunks of SOMETHING and it creates one of those party in your mouth experiences! I'd buy the sauce by the gallon if I could! read more

Only a few tables....Just right for such a small place. 2) Non Waitress but the person who took our order did serve us. She was friendly and attentive. 3) Gyro was delicious. Love the fact that their Gyro meets are real and looked like the ones I had in the real Santorini Island back years ago. It was delicious. I can't wait until they have more food choices. Just opened a few weeks ago, unfortunately they don't yet have all their ingredients such as rice and some other items. They need to figure the heating temps for the rotisserie meats, our lamb gyros consisted of some dry hard pieces and they use an electric cutter which is nothing like having a platter or gyro consisting of hand carved slices. Place is immaculately clean and all brand new. Hopefully in time it will get the kinks worked out. read more

Santorini is one of the most beautiful Greek islands in the Agean Sea. Shaped like a crescent, it is the geologic remains of an extinct volcano, creating a large harbor where the central vents were before collapsing beneath the sea. Houses are all whitewashed in the towns that cling to the cliffs above the sunken caldera. These days it is best known for its blue domed churches, and excellent cuisine. So, naming a gyro house after Santorini makes sense, as it suggests a rugged land with equally tough people capable of great artistry in the kitchen. This new small Greek place is well appointed to feel like you are sitting in a café in Kamari or Oia, the two main villages there. They have a limited menu, but their focus is on the traditional fare - gyros (the derivation of Heros), or sandwiches made with hot pita stuffed with well spiced meat, or veggies, i.e., falafel. The shop has three vertical roasters for pork, lamb and chicken. A large electric shaver is used to slice off the meat from the central spit, before being loaded into the pita with tahini sauce, yogurt, onion, tomato, fries and paprika. The whole pita is then rolled snuggly around these contents, and wrapped in paper and again in aluminum foil, so it is served like a cornucopia on a plate. The result - a delicious sandwich, requiring help from a fork to consume, because it is so filled to overflowing that each bite has some of it falling out onto the plate. Not that I'm complaining. The gyro with a bottle of water was about $10 plus tax. The lamb is another buck or so. Very worth a stop if you like Greek street food in an attractive setting overlooking Santorini Bay. read more

This place is tiny and has just as tiny a parking lot. Location is not ideal, but it's got excellent gyros. Literally, all they serve. No sides, just gyros. There are a few booths, but it's a little cramped. The meats are cooked right there on the property, not that frozen bullshit a lot of places that serve gyros serve on a pita. Fresh and flavored properly. This is as close to authentic as you're going to get anywhere in the area for miles. I've been there and taken my food home to enjoy it there. read more

Good Gyro by local standards, but not really blazing any trails. I have a feeling that they'll never have the lamb version available, which is on the menu but not available. I would've thought it was just me, had I not seen the other reviews. The decor is really nice. Quite honestly, they've achieved the Greek look, which is awesome. Great job on the furniture and fixtures. But the Greek ambience stops there. I couldn't tell whether the music they were blasting was Albanian or Russian, but it definitely wasn't Greek. That's when I realized that these folks aren't Greek. Kind of a bummer, but I can live with that. The girls who worked up front seemed very happy to be there, until the cook came out from the back with such a bad attitude that even I felt bad for them. Just really brought the mood down. The pork Gyro was good, but they make the same mistake here that most places make that doesn't allow one to enjoy the true Gyro experience the traditional establishments in Greece. It has to do with the cutting of the meat, but let's just move on. The tzatziki was very good. Kudos again for hitting that nail right on the head. Good amount of cucumber chunks in there and just the right amount of garlic. I also really like their feta cheese. They didn't go with the top choice, in my opinion, but they definitely didn't go cheap. Good job, most places don't get good quality feta. If this review was only for food, four stars would be a given, but the breakdown of hospitality caused by the cook and the ambience breakdown caused by the music really made my experience just ok. read more

Absolutely love the food. My wife and I come down from Doylestown anytime we have a craving for legit gyros. We've tried the pork and chicken gyros and would strongly recommend trying both. It's not your generic ground meat shavings. I've been told this is the authentic way that they make it "back home". Quality of the food is phenomenal, people are great and always happy to serve. This place is amazing, and I didn't know it was here - right in my neighborhood! I got the Lamb Gyro platter. It was the best lamb I have ever had. And the tzatziki was wonderful, a sure sign of a great Greek restaurant. Even the French fries and pita were exceptional. And the color scheme is white with blue, of course, along with a great mural of Oia.
