The least magical property on Disney. I was there with a group of doctors who are meeting at a conference and someone recommended this place. Bad idea. The staff seems medicated. The bartender skip has no personality nor did the two servers who we finally had to take our orders. Plus there's no magic there. No magicians. Nothing. The drinks are overly sweet. I had heard of a color changing drink but that we were told isn't very good. The decor is nice. It needs some help. The Houdini-style, mysterious old school traveling circus vibe in this tiny bar is only something Disney could retroactively pull off to replace the terrible establishment that was previously in its place. And they did an outstanding job. It's fun spot to grab a whimsical cocktail before your fine dining reservation at Flying Fish next door. The Hoodunit's Punch was good but not worth $15, just like the Conjurita - this is the drink that turns purple that you see all over social media. This is a cool little spot at Disney's Boardwalk. My girlfriend and I sat at the bar. Our bartender, Skip, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the Sazarac off of the menu because I was intrigued by the use of absinthe; the drink was good and about what you would expect, an old fashioned with an absinthe twist. Skip was able to make my girlfriend's favorite drink, The Last Word. This is only the second bar on Disney property we have found that can make The Last Word, the other is The Edison in Disney Springs. We did not get a magical cocktail; however, we were able to witness the magic of the margarita. We saw the magical margarita executed at the bar and at a stand-alone table. I highly recommend experiencing it while seated at the bar, it is a more intimate and involved experience. Overall the space is small, but the drinks and experience make it worth it! Definitely check out this gem. P.S. if you place a simple mobile order at a one of the other venues at The Boardwalk you are allowed to park in The Boardwalk parking lot. read more

We have been here before and received great service but unfortunately tonight we received incredibly rude service. We walked up to the bar and we were immediately greeted with attitude. We got here at 11 to end the night (it closes at midnight) so a few of us were only drinking water in order to drive home. Each time one of us ordered a soda water our bartender Nickel gave us major attitude as if we shouldn't be ordering a water, even though she charged us $5 for each soda water anyway! She was incredibly rude, hand-motioning for our IDs instead of simply asking to see our ID. We'd had our drinks for not even a minute when she very rudely told us we had to leave the bar (we weren't planning on standing there, we'd just barely paid before she shooed us away). We are very frequent Disney-ers and also work in customer service so we are incredibly understanding when it comes to patience with customers. But the level of rudeness we received was shocking. We had an early dinner at Epcot so after the Eat to the beat Concert we were looking for a late snack. We came across AbracadaBAR. It is located between Flying Fish and Trattoria Italian restaurant. It's a small, cozy lounge that's decorated as if you were going to see a fortune teller or a magic show. Maybe Zoltar himself will come out and serve you drinks and read your palms. Gold and black tiles, decorated wall paper and heavy red curtains dressed the lounge. We had an IPA beer and the Abracadabar fries. The fries were a HIT! This will satisfy your late night hunger. It is a waiting lounge for these two restaurants, and not really a destination bar. I stopped in for a glass of wine before my Flying Fish reservation early on a Tuesday (they open at 4). Sat at the bar. It wasn't crowded. Service was friendly. Glass of wine not cheap, but nothing in Disney is. Nothing magic-wise was happening, but am told that sometimes it could. She had a look on her face when ever she took a sip. The meat and cheese board was interesting to say the least. I never knew pimento loaf was something you include in a charcuterie board. I was going to joke with the waiter and ask if he had American cheese, bread, and mustard to make a sandwich. I am so disappointed with this bar. I was really looking forward to this spot but every time I wanted to go it was closed. Finally! It was open and it was probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had in general. The location is great and the inside is awesome. Lots to look at but when the customer service is horrible and the drinks are nasty, it's not worth it. When we walked in the bartenders just stared at us, didn't greet us or tell us to take a seat anywhere. Just looked at us, it was super awkward. That should've been my que to turn around and leave but since I wanted to try it, I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt, bad idea. Our server came around 10 min later and had no personality. She didn't make any recommendations and she gave me a water in a paper cup like you'd get in the parks. She never came back to check on us or give us the check. I had to flag her down each time. AND THEY WERE EMPTY!!! The bartenders were talking about how they all have rabbits as pets and all they do is poop. I'm thinking ... where am I??? I ordered the Pepper's Ghost and I couldn't drink it. It was so potent with lime I had to dilute with water. My sister got the Seashore Sweet and she said it was tolerable. Normally I would return something like that but this place was just so awful from the beginning that I just chalked up my loss and I will never come back. It's like the staff couldn't make it in the parks or the bars in the resorts so they sent all the rejects here LOL it's that bad. We came across this place back in March of 2020, on the last weekend before Disney shut down. We liked it a lot, the feel was a bit like a locals place or a place cast members frequent. This is a charming little bar on the Boardwalk. The decor in this place is really nice, with a old mysterious look like a place where 1920's Atlantic City stage magicians might hang out after a show. For a drink I got the The Conjurita, which is made with El Mayor Tequila, Cointreau, Simple Syrup, & Lime Juice. It was the best tequila mixed drink I've ever had, really good. If you're ever on The Boardwalk and want to have a drink or three, stop in this place and try a Conjurita, you won't be disappointed. read more

I've been wanting to check out Abracadabar ever since it opened but just now made it to the Boardwalk The bar is decorated beautifully. It's small but a great atmosphere to stop in for a drink. We were there around 5pm and there was plenty of seating for 7 of us. We were disappointed to learn they no longer serve magic inspired drinks. Honestly the only bad experience we had while staying in Disney. Jessie was the manager but she didn't really know what to do we had to ask her to solve it. Sometimes more than an apology is necessary. I have an allergy so I'm used to my food taking longer, but we order the charcuterie board with gluten free toast and fries. It took us 10 minutes to get service, after another 10 minutes the server came over to us and said she forgot what we ordered for drinks but our food was already in. So it took us 30 minutes to get beverages in our system and 45 minutes to get our first food item from when we walked in. Thé charcuterie board came our first with no bread, 15 minutes later the fries came out cold and then another 5 minutes after 2 requests to talk to the manager the toast finally came out and then the manager..... We had to basically ask for the food to be taken off because we wanted to just leave at that point. We had already been there much longer than anticipated. I had such high hopes for this place. I walked over to the Boardwalk hotel specifically to try it. I ordered the Peppers Ghost which is pineapple vodka with pepper and a fresh pineapple. It was quite tasty but I don't think worth $13 dollars plus tip. The ONLY reason why I gave two stars instead of 3 is that their margarita is slightly cheaper than the one at the stand outside of it and it has more alcohol in it. I've been coming to the BoardWalk for years and was so excited to discover this charming addition! My boyfriend and I stopped by around 5pm on a Monday, and we were able to get a table right away. The story goes that AbracadaBar was once a social club for magicians of the Golden Age, and the decor carries this theme throughout the lounge. We were immediately greeted by a friendly and quirky waiter who showed us a little trick with our menu. He then stopped by with some complimentary bar snacks and took our drink order. Ended up checking out AbracadaBar after a long day at Epcot. I ordered the Seashore Sweet and my girlfriend went with The Conjurita. Quality If you have ever stayed until closing at a theme park you know the massive chaos that ensues as herds of people flock towards the exit. Epcot happens to have a lesser known side exit that filters some of the crowd into Disney's Boardwalk. It was here that we decided to stop into AbracadaBar, to grab a drink and wait for the crowd to fade away before making our escape. I ordered the Seashore Sweet, a drink that uses citrus vodka, lemonade, and cotton candy syrup. This super sweet concoction comes out bright blue and very much tastes like if cotton candy came in a liquid format. My girlfriend went with The Conjurita, tequila, triple sec, simple syrup, and lime juice. What I don't think she expected was for it come out in bright purple. But what she did not like in color, she seemed to enjoy in taste. Neither drink really did it for me, but it still was not a bad spot to take shelter from the stampede of families trying to head back to their hotels. Quantity While the cups were a good size, do not think it will be a stiff drink. The pours are light and most of the cocktails are heavy on syrup and other mixers. Value The speciality cocktails were all $12.50, which may be high for Orlando, but I felt were a decent price considering the Disney location. Ambiance AbracadaBar is found in Disney's Boardwalk, which is a resort area of Disney World's Orlando complex. Located amongst other bars and restaurants of this Disney take on a small boardwalk town, it looks like a mix of a theater and a restaurant from the outside. Inside to the left you will find a glorious high shelved bar complete with top hat and other magical materials. The bar is dimly lit and decorated much like you would expect an old time theater or magic shop. The windows have dark drapes over them to keep the space mysterious and the walls are covered with designs you would expect from the inside of a victorian mansion. Strange mirrors, magician tools, and posters advertising magic shows hang from the walls. And while it is clear a great amount of effort and love was placed in the design, the lack of dedication from the staff hurt the overall feel. The bar also has a small patio out front where we decided to take our drinks. It is hard to find a better spot to sit and enjoy the chaos that is a theme park exodus. Crowd We showed up to the bar at the conclusion of Epcot's firework show, so the Disney Boardwalk area was quite busy. However, the bar itself was pretty quiet. Inside a few people sat at the bar, but most the seats remained empty. We decided to take our drinks and sit out front, it is an excellent spot for people watching as families exit the theme park. A few other younger folks, who already looked a bit inebriated stopped in, but largely it stayed empty. And if it is not busy on a Saturday night, I'm not sure if it ever is. Service A while back I learned about this bar from a friend, who explained that the bartenders were essentially doing magic tricks while making each drink. He vividly described them using mirrors and melting cotton candy as elements of the show. I couldn't remember the names of the drinks my friend was talking about so I told the story to the bartender. I was met with the response of we don't do anything like that here, we don't have cotton candy and there are no mirror tricks. He then rudely advised us to order off the menu and not to waste his time. Now it took me about three seconds to locate a Magic Mirror drink on the menu as well as the drink I ordered, Seashore Sweet, which is made with cotton candy syrup. I was left mystified of why he was so disrespectful when what I was asking about was essentially on this menu. Suffice to say we ordered from another bartender who was much more professional. It seems like my question is a common myth about the cocktail bar, and one I would assume they could handle more courteously. Parking AbracadaBar is part of Disney's Boardwalk, which is one of the few areas of Disney World where you can find free parking. It also makes for a good escape route for guests trying to grab transportation without the chaos of leaving Epcot's main entrance. Extra Without question AbracadaBar is a fun concept with a charming design. However, the just average drinks and rude staff make it a place that can definitely be skipped. A decent oasis as Epcot closes, but probably not worth a visit otherwise. read more

AbracadaBar is a must anytime you are at the Boardwalk. All the drinks are absolutely delicious! The Seashore Sweet with cotton candy syrup and the Magic Mirror with rum and mango are two of my favorites but the Hoodunit's Punch and the Collin's Double are very tasty too. My husband's favorite is the Black Manhattan. If you prefer beer or wine, they have a long list of options too. The whole atmosphere & decor is really neat, think magic show and fortune tellers.
