AbracadaBar is a must anytime you are at the Boardwalk. All the drinks are absolutely delicious! The Seashore Sweet with cotton candy syrup and the Magic Mirror with rum and mango are two of my favorites but the Hoodunit's Punch and the Collin's Double are very tasty too. My husband's favorite is the Black Manhattan. If you prefer beer or wine, they have a long list of options too. The whole atmosphere & decor is really neat, think magic show and fortune tellers. Everyone could use a little magic in their lives. AbracadaBar is a magician themed restaurant that manages to transform an ordinary space on the Disney Boardwalk into something completely different- a sultry and beguiling lounge. Presto Change-O ! The dim decor completes the illusion with a style that is part speakeasy and part Magician's collection. A hall with mirrors, and articles alluding to classic tricks of the trade such as magic wands and a straight-jacket set the scene. All around there are posters bearing images of the "legends." The menu isn't overly long or completed, but does boast some classic cocktails as well as some unique twists. There is a negroni, margarita, and "The Sour Assistant," a play on a sweet and sour made with Breuckelen Distilling 77 Whiskey and House made sweet and sour. The Seashore Sweet pays homage to the space's former inhabitant, a cloying creation with Odwalla Lemonade and Blue Cotton Candy. A very sweet tribute, literally. They've got a selection of wine and beer as well, plus some bar bites for those craving a little something. Personally I thought the cocktails were decent but I've had better versions of the classics elsewhere, and the more unique options were nothing I would crave. That being said, while they may not have pulled a rabbit from a hat, the bar is enchanting and it makes a wonderful way to spend an evening winding day after a full day at Epcot. We just waited in line for 10 minutes to enter. We were then greeted by an employee who welcomed us and said all empty areas were sanitized. We went to the bar, the bar tended said to not sit there. We moved To the other side of the bar- more people came in behind us- another employee Came over and offered to help. The bartender said "I'll help anyone but these 3". What a terrible way to treat annual pass holders who stayed at the Dolphin hotel to spend the evening at the bar. What a terrible experience. read more

I would rate this place less if I could. Came in with plenty of seats available and was told by a waitress to "find a spot if there's one available". Obviously found one as it wasn't full. We walked here from the Dolphin because we have always liked this bar at the Boardwalk. Went there tonight and the lady at the door just hem hawed about seating us. She told us there was no open tables even though I could see one being cleaned and told us three times we could take our drinks to go. When I pointed out the trio that had just walked out before she told me they we're with another party and once again encouraged us to take drinks to go. We stopped here a few days ago and couldn't wait to return. We walked up and down the boardwalk for an extra 45 minutes waiting for them to open. But that's okay we had a lovely time. I ordered the black Manhattan for the second time and was just as pleased as the first time we had it. What an outstanding drink! My son ordered the Sazerac which was not on the menu but was recommended by our very helpful waitress. I couldn't help but take a sip since the last time I ordered that I was in New Orleans. The decor is nice. However, this is a "magic bar" with no decent magic tricks and no magicians. Why isn't a magician walking around to the tables doing table tricks. Why is this bar special? What makes it unique? The TVs that display magician posters? Yawn. The space is pretty but the bar is lackluster. Why don't the mirrors greet guests by reading their magicbands and interacting? Why doesn't anything cool happen anywhere? Sure it's pretty. But it is also pretty boring. So what about the drinks? Mine was barely drinkable. I ordered the Collins Double. It was so sour and sweet it was incredibly unpleasant. I normally like this cocktail... but my drink wasn't mixed correctly. Balance was off. The cocktail menu is rather boring and offers nothing challenging or exciting. The Pepper's Ghost? Gross. Why not pepper vodka and fresh tomato juice? Or what about a fun gastroscience trick in the drinks that would further the magic theme? Disney used to tell great stories in their spaces. Here there is a story on the back of the menu. But that's the only only place you find the story. Otherwise it just looks like a pretty bar. It looks pretty. The drinks don't taste pretty. Swing and a miss. I won't be returning. My family and I came to this establishment the night of December 22nd. My fiancé and I just got engaged and we were looking to for a place to grab a quick drink with family before calling it a night. We had been dying to check out this bar and we thought this was the perfect opportunity to do so.... Our experience was less than great. The wait staff seemed very annoyed - almost rude. We felt more like a burden than a welcomed guest. The drinks were subpar and all the glasses were incredibly sticky. This place does not reflect the Disney experience that we had received throughout our entire trip. Word to the wise - stick to the bars in the resorts OR at the theme parks where you can be assured that you will be taken care of by a friendly and welcoming staff! This bar is super cool and right along the boardwalk. The atmosphere is relaxed, and I love how dim the bar is. I went with a big group of drinkers, so we all got to taste different drinks! I ordered the seashore sweet, which was citron, lemonade, and cotton candy syrup. It was so sweet, and I didn't even taste the alcohol! However, if you prefer stronger drinks, there's definitely a big variety to choose from! Our waitress was new and didn't fully know all of the drinks quite yet, but she brought everything out in a timely manner and was very sweet. While walking around Disney's Boardwalk Resort we found that the confectionary had been replaced with Abracadabar and that it had just opened a few days prior. It's very similar to Trader Sam's at the Polynesian because it's heavily themed. It appears bigger though than Trader Sam's and while it doesn't have a special effect going off every time you order something or come with souvenir glasses, I loved it just the same if not more. It's decorated head to toe with mystical objects. There are 6 posters on the walls that you'll have to keep an eye on because the magicians featured will sometimes disappear. The wallpaper though is enchanting! Secretly hidden throughout are magic tricks, magicians and bunnies! We sat along the wall and ordered their mixed drink Pepper's Ghost made from pineapple vodka, habanero lime and garnished with a pineapple chunk and pepper flakes. It was so smooth and flavorful but not at all spicy like I had thought. I would have a hard time trying anything else on the menu after that drink because I'll always want Pepper's Ghost from now on. While we enjoyed our drinks the server provided us with complimentary curry popcorn with dried chickpeas. It was addicting! Tim was an incredible server always thinking ahead for our needs, keeping an eye on us and spent time telling us about the bar and some folklore behind it. He explained that long ago this was a hideout for the magicians and one night while enjoying their drinks mixed with absinthe, they all disappeared and haven't been seen since. It is believed their drinks were spiked with a vanishing serum. There are apparently other theories/stories as well. The whole experience was wonderful and we will definitely be back! read more

We were really disappointed with our last visit here. We had been looking forward to returning, as our first visit was amazing (2017). This time the bartenders were complaining the entirety of our visit (which was just 1 round). It was a lot of gossip about each other and Disney, in a negative tone. I know this a job to them and jobs can be frustrating. However, it really took the "magic" out of our experience here. Not sure we would take the time to go back on our next Disney vacation. Quality of drinks has slipped, too. Bummer for sure! read more

We went on a Monday night (Labor Day) and grabbed seats on a wall, since all of the tables were taken (but it still wasn't really crowded/busy). My boyfriend and I stopped in to Abracadabar before dinner at Flying Fish after a long day of walking 10+ miles at Epcot! I loved the atmosphere and decor - if you watch closely, some of the posters might seem magical! We sat at the bar and had a few signature cocktails - the Pepper's Ghost and Sour Assistant were both really good. They have a small selection of craft beer on tap as well as wine, bottled beer and other cocktails. Our bartender was great, chatting with us about our trip and giving us a tip about the Sun Rail to the airport. We hung here a couple of times on our last trip while staying at the Boardwalk. Once while waiting for our Flying Fish reservation and another time because I liked so much the first time. My fiance and I had a chance to check this place out after a long day in the parks to get a much needed cocktail. The place is very quirky and fun with "posters" of magicians , as well as various props from magic shows. Our waitress was very awesome, and was willing to go over the drinks with u if we needed further info. Also, she was incredibly friendly and willing to chat with us. I decided to get two different cocktails since this what they are known for. The Elixir was a great drink It was simple but was subtle in sweetness. I also got the Coney Negroni. I've never been more disappointed in the "Disney" magic than at this themed magicians bar. 6pm Friday night...door open, light and heat streaming in at a themed 20s speak easy with low lighting and exclusive cocktails. We might as well have been at Pecos Bill's at high noon mid July dining on hot dogs and cokes. I was expecting a fine drinking experience and received far less... Requested door be closed to not blind our ability to attempt and make the most of our experience...and given the excuse people would think they are closed. Very poor customer service. The manager hardly said two words to us. My wife and I were on the final day of our honey moon, I didn't have my passport with me only my ID and they denied us service. If one place does not accept ID only because of Disney law then all places should enforce this law and should tell everyone about it. We were never informed.
