This is largely due to the age of my house (built in 1954). The Energy audit and follow up report far exceeded my expectations. Kent was at the house for several hours doing the evaluation. He has specialized equipment but also interviewed us about our habits. We then received an extremely detailed report filled with recommendations and also what the cost to implement the recommendations are and how much we will save for each recommendation. In addition, the report included links to rebates and tax credits for implementing energy saving upgrades to our home. Kent went over everything in detail with us and then delivered the report via email. The cost of the energy audit was very reasonable and the information we received from Kent is amazing. We have already implemented 2 of the smaller changes and are considering implementing some of the longer terms upgrades to our house. Please note that this audit is independent. The company is not trying to sell you a follow up service (like installing solar or a new hot water heater). The sole purpose of the audit is to give you information that you can use to make improvements. I highly recommend this service.
