11/2025, I hired Carlos Insulation to add attic insulation to my home for $4,326. The entire reason for the project was to improve the temperature in my daughter Sophia's bedroom, which has always struggled with airflow and heat. Ironically, immediately after the insulation was installed, her room became even hotter. Several months later, when my schedule finally allowed me to deal with it, I hired an HVAC contractor to diagnose the problem. He found that a 10-inch insulated flex duct in the attic had been crushed and replaced approximately 5-6 feet of ducting at a cost of $475.
