This company installed our air conditioning system, so when it stopped working, we naturally called them for help. Unfortunately, the customer service we received was incredibly disappointing. The representative I spoke with stated that she was the owner, yet she was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the conversation. When I pointed out that she was being rude, rather than trying to resolve the issue or offer assistance, she hung up on me. When your air conditioning is down, especially during the summer, you expect the company that installed your system to stand behind their work and treat customers with respect. Instead, we were met with hostility and a complete lack of professionalism. If the person representing the company--and identifying herself as the owner--treats customers this way, it says a lot about how the business operates. Hanging up on a customer is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company and will be taking my business elsewhere. Since we were unable to get help from the company that installed our system, we were forced to pay another HVAC company to assess the issue. Their technician found melted, burnt electrical wiring in the system and due to the high heat the screw welded to the metal. We are fortunate our house did not burn down. read more

Today we had a new central AC unit put in. This is not the task anyone wants to do during a HOT summer, and let's be honest, it's not an inexpensive purchase. HOWEVER, everyone at Absolute Air was a complete pleasure to deal with. I was able to finance the unit, which made the cost manageable. The installation technicians and electrician were all so courteous and hard working, despite the sweltering temperature in the attic. They problem solved and did not leave our home until everything was up and running smoothly! The unit is name brand (Rheem) and high quality. I knew our old unit was on its last legs and was dreading the replacement but with Absolute Air and Power, the whole process was a pleasure. A week ago made an appointment for an estimate to replacement AC scheduled today between 1p and 4p blocking my whole day. At 11a recieved a message for an offer to come earlier. One would assume if the customer doesn't call back to accept the earlier time or to cancel the appointment, its still standing between 1pm and 4pm. Trust me when they place the error on the customer side just for an appointment can you imagine what other headaches you will recieve if you actually sign a contract with them. read more

Called a few different AC companies and they all said they won't be able to visit my home for at least 2 weeks. I called Absolute for an appointment to service my Central air conditioning. I had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment in June. The weather was getting hot. My appt was for between 2-5 on June14. At 4:20 owner who answers the phone tells me Tom can't make it, so we have cancel. I said my wife took off from work. She said Tom can come tomorrow between 9-12. I said we work , the owner said, So what are you telling me nothing can be done, with a very nasty attitude. We asked if it could be narrowed down more because we have to take off from work again. Maybe between 11-12 . She said no we don't do that. Then she said maybe you should call someone else with a very sharp tongue. I said you should be more accommodating since you canceled and I took off from work. She said, I have phones ringing off the hook, maybe you should call someone else, and No we are not doing that . Then she hung up the phone on me. Absolute does not care about their customers . They only care about their money and not wasting your money or time. I never dealt with someone so unprofessional and nasty. I would take Absolutes advice and call someone else. They don't value their customers and have No Respect for them. I used Absolute Air & Power for a new central air system & installation system last spring. They were reasonably priced & prompt when it came to installing. However, when first installed they gave us the wrong thermostat. We paid for a WiFi one and they installed a basic one. It took a decent amount of time to get them back to give us and put the right one we paid for in. Then when they finally did they installed/programmed the thermostat wrong. Every time my heat goes on so does the fan for the AC. It's completely counter productive and a huge waste of electricity. It has to do with how it was installed with the wires, nothing we can fix. This has been going on for MONTHS. They are near impossible to get a hold of and take forever to respond unless you keep following up. Then they have their electrician finally reach out in DECEMBER. Well guess what it's end of January and still haven't been able to connect with him to fix this. I would have rather pay more money elsewhere for better service. They made the error and should have fixed it ASAP. read more

Last year we used Absolute Air and Power to redirect some vents. While another company, whom I was a customer of, wouldn't even quote me for the job as it was too small. Tom and his family from Absolute go above and beyond not only with the great work they do, but with their customer service. We are currently using them again to move the condenser, which I needed done ASAP. Being April, they are completely booked up, but Tom and one of his guys came over in their lunch break to do the work on only a few hours notice. Next year we will need to replace our A/C system and will only use Absolute Air and Power. If you are in need of A/C work I highly recommend Tom from Absolute Air and Power. read more
