Mike is great! I've used him for years. He installed 2 new condensing units and 2 new air handlers for me several years ago - they are fully matched, high end American Standard (Trane) systems with great SEER ratings. He converted me from Freon to Puron knowing that would be the latest most advanced system and included 2 new digital programmable thermostats. His price was extremely reasonable (better than all others) and his service is outstanding. Mike not only owns the company, he does all have his own work. Why? Because nobody cares like the owner does. And this certainly shows in his work. Mike is awesome! He has an answering service who actually answers the phone and then texts him to call you back! In the heat of the summer when all the AC companies are booked for days, Mike has saved the day on 2 separate occasions within 2 weeks. He's responsive and the best thing is that he knows his business, quickly assessed our issue and fixed it with a reasonable price. The first issue was a leak in our condensation line. I called him Monday morning and he came Monday late afternoon and bam, it was fixed. The 2nd issue was totally unrelated. The upstairs unit decided to break 7pm Sat night . Called Mike on Sunday, he arrived Sun night and diagnosed it as a broken fan. Unfortunately, he didn't have an extra motor at the time but was able to come the next day and fixed it. Mike was a lifesaver, literally. My parents' 3.5 year old AC went out last Sunday, and we could not get the original installer to respond. My dad had just been placed under the care of Hospice, and the inside temps of 89 degrees was not helping his breathing. I called Absolute Air, the answering service picked up, and our call was returned in 10 minutes. Mike showed up within 2 hrs, on a Sunday, and spent several hours working. Unfortunately he needed a part that was not on his truck, so he returned on Monday, where he spent 8 hours making sure everything was working correctly. Since this AC unit was not even 4 years old and has not worked correctly from the beginning,we were so grateful for his diligence and persistence and expertise. Over the years, I've had REALLY bad experiences with large air conditioning companies in the Valley. They put in damaged parts, tried to install cheaper parts than the ones I paid for, took smoke breaks on my roof and the list goes on; so I was desperately seeking a smaller company with a knowledgeable staff,;I think I found that with Absolute Air Technologies. Mike Tucker came to my house today and after a brief discussion about my AC, he went right to work. He combed out all the dents in my unit that I'd been living with since last fall's hailstorm and then did an annual service. Saturday night our AC broke, causing us to suffer in the hot summer heat the next day. I was hesitant to contact AC repairmen since it was a Sunday and we had to use our home warranty, as we had just bought the house. I spoke with Mike via the Yelp app and he reassured me that they had dealt with warranties before and he'd be glad to come over and help us with our AC. We noticed our AC wasn't cooling on 6pm on a Saturday nigh. My A.C. started blowing hot air in August. I called a tech I had been using and when he responded he said my unit was beyond repair and needed to be replaced. My daughter-in-law asked me to delay the replacement until her serviceman looked at it. That guy she sent us was named Mike Tucker and let me tell you, he is the greatest. Mike checked it out and said he could get it going. He was up on that hot roof for almost 3 hours but when he finished, cold air! The price was right and that baby is still running like new. We've been having problems with our air conditioner for more than a year. A number of service people have tried to fix it, but none were able to figure out the cause of the problem. They would get it working but then a few days or weeks later it would break down again. Mike figured out the cause of the problem and then ran across town in rush hour traffic to get the part that we needed. He also pointed out that one of our ducts wasn't attached properly and was probably driving up our monthly electric bill. Mike's prices are fair, he responds quickly and he does quality work. Mike Tucker is not very responsive to inquiries -takes days or weeks before he will reply via phone or text. We decided to use another AC contractor to install a new rooftop package unit, who was referred to us by the roofing contractor as we were in the middle of a roof replacement project and could not wait any longer. Mike called us at the last minute upset at the fact that we had decided to use another company even though he did not send us a promised proposal! I recently moved into my home (Biltmore area in Phoenix) and was horrified to discover that my heating unit wasn't functioning properly. I immediately called the company that installed the unit -- Absolute Air Technologies -- and asked the owner, Mike Tucker, to visit the house. Fortunately, he fixed the problem (my fault) immediately and was quickly on his way. Mike was professional and affordable -- and I wouldn't hesitate to utilize his services again. Well, another problem (my fault) surfaced two days later. And guess who I called? Yes, that's correct -- Mike. Once again, he fixed the problem -- this time by calling a colleague who within an hour had my unit up and running. No charge this time -- amazing. I used Absolute Air 3 times in the past 3 years for air conditioning issues and have been totally satisfied. I had a new air conditioner installed by another company (which I won't name) and it had issues do to faulty installation. I called the air-conditoner manufacturer and they recommend Absolute Air, which was certified by the company to do warranty work. Mike at Absolute Air, was able to fix the problems caused by faulty installation by this other company. In another situation, the air at my rental went out Friday afternoon, nevertheless, Absolute Air came out during the early evening and stayed on the job until it was fixed (before dark). Recently (9/11) , the fan for my air conditioner was not working. I called Absolute Air and felt confident Mike could fix it by the end of the day. He knew were to get the "unusual" part from the manufacturer and had it fixed in a few hours. The part was under warranty and Mike "took care of everything". I really wanted to find a company that I trust; Mike at Absolute Air has never let me down. When you call Absolute Air you get a person with 20+ years of experience, not a rookie. Recently, my mother's a/c was blowing warm and needed some professional attention. I did some research to find a local hvac outfit and I found Absolute. I called Mike late on a Friday and he arranged his schedule to come out first thing in the morning to troubleshoot the system.
