Absolute Mobility Center is the best. We have had mobility vans for 12 years and started with another company where the service was questionable and the sales staff very pushy, sort of like used car salesman. We were introduced to Absolute Mobility through a VA disabled friend and haven't been anywhere else since. Amanda, Shay and the whole staff at the Tacoma office were fabulous, no pushy used car attitude and no telling us our van was about to fall apart just honest answers to our many questions. They walked us through all the VA paperwork and were great at delivery, being sure we understood all the buttons, dials and switches in the new van. Our next van was purchased through the Woodinville office. Again the staff was great, we met Eddy when we took our van there for service. He and Amanda own the company and their attitude extends to their staff in both locations. The newest member of their staff, Van, no pun intended, is friendly and helpful with the same caring attitude that every one in the company shows. Sometime disabled folks aren't the easiest to deal with but they handle the entire process with kindness and grace. The service department is solid with every little detail attended to as if this vehicle was going to be carrying their family not just another vehicle to service. But the best way to find out what a company is made of is in a crisis and Absolute and Braun of Braunability came through with flying colors. In 2018, in our new van with less that 150 total miles, we were on our way home and the van quit. We called Absolute and Eddy said we was coming to get us and take us on home. We talked him out of that move because we were over an hour and a half away not counting the ferry ride. The service manager was also on the call telling us what to do and what not to do. Mainly call a flat bed wrecker and do not allow a regular wrecker to pick up our new vehicle. All this was done through our insurance company and after waiting 6 hours for the proper wrecker we were home. The van was not going to move without major repairs so a new one was ordered, all with our requirements and specks in mind. A flat bed wrecker picked up our new/not running van and took it back to Absolute and brought us a rental to use while we were waiting for the now, on order van. The new, 2019 van, cost us nothing and neither did the rental. Braun stood behind their product and Eddy and Amanda supported us with the rental, at no cost to us. For years, including as recently as today, I have had very positive, professional experiences with one of my favorite companies. I bought my van from Absolute,(then called Rich's Northwest Mobility), back in 1993 and ever since then they have done everything possible to keep my van safe and running well with all the special equipment I use to drive since I use a wheelchair. I started using the expertise and services of Eddy and Amanda Riviera back in 1989. They feel like family to me in that I know they care about me and my safety. Their daughter, Ayla, works there now and she literally grew up in the business. She is smart, fair and personable. Jaimie, the officer manager is friendly, efficient and an asset to the company. The head mechanic, Tim, is in a word- awesome. He communicates well about what needs to be done and why, he is smart, efficient and caring. Tim always goes the extra mile, finds work arounds, and tries to save me money while ensuring safety always as his top priority. I trust Tim from the time he takes my car for repair to the time he returns it in top notch condition; there is no need to call him to check on how things are going, I know he will always do right by me. Driving alone and using a wheelchair one could feel vulnerable. This feeling is eliminated when trusting my car and medical equipment to Absolute. They give me my freedom, mobility and independence. While Absolute is affordable, especially for the service and expertise received, one cannot put a pricetag on quality customer service and peace of mind. read more

I and three friends rented a van for a day of fun with another friend who is confined to a wheelchar. Our entire experience was exceptional. One friend arranged for the van. She said that Angela, one of the owners, made setting up the rental easy and enjoyable. When we arrived at the Center, we were greeted enthusiastically and cordially by Jaime, who was thorough and efficient as she checked us in, made sure we were aware of all the details & procedures involved in the rental, and led us in an inspection of the van. She then had Julianna show us how we would be getting our friend into the van and taught us very completely and patiently how to secure the wheelchair. She made sure we were comfortable with all operations of the van, even telling us to call once we were on the road if we had further questions. Then we we were off for a day visiting a nursery and having lunch. The van performed exceptionally and we found the instructions had prepared us well. The entire day was a fabulous adventure, which we called our AdVANture, and will remain a favorite memory. Absolute Mobility Center has our deepest gratitude. Our experience start to finish was absolutely enhanced by their professionalism, cordiality, and, of course, the cleanliness, performance, and ease of operation of the van itself. read more

Absolute mobility has been a freedom saver for my best friend. Eddy listened to my friends needs and put him in exactly the right van for him. He worked with my friend (retired vet) through the entire process. Once his disease progressed (ALS) and he could no longer load through the side door ramp, Eddy found another van (rear loader) that was a much better fit. He traded my friend straight across, the old van, for the new one. When I first began taking my friend shopping for a modified van, we spent some time looking, we found just a couple of dealers, they all treated my friend like he wasn't important. They were basically used car salesmen. When we found Absolute, we could tell right away that they do business differently. They are very personable and easy going. Eddy and my friend became friends. My friend has recently passed away. Absolute mobility gave him the freedom to enjoy life and not feel so restricted. After six months of use, Eddie immediately agreed to repurchase my 2009 Honda Odyssey VMI van conversion he and Amanda and Shay sold me late in 2017. In addition to an incredible purchase experience in November 2017 over Thanksgiving holiday weekend when my need was the greatest for finding a way to transport and care for my wife who suddenly was unable to walk due to injury and dementia, he again came to my rescue, when she suddenly passed May 25, 2018 and we no longer needed this specialized vehicle. Although out of town when I sent him a text message about our situation, he responded within hours immediately committing to buying the van back from me. Upon delivering the van to him he gave me a fair price and a check immediately. He said he liked helping people. For me this is convincing evidence that ABC walks the talk, meets the mobility transportation needs of people and bends over backwards to help. I had a wonderful experience purchasing a van with ramp for my 88 year old mother. I had been shopping around with a very limited budget and tight time constraint when I stopped by their Tacoma store. I explained my mother was moving from Riverside, CA to Tacoma in a few weeks and I was leaving even sooner to assist her. From the start Amanda and Eddie were very knowledgeable and personable. They didn't have anything in my price range at the Tacoma store but said they would email some possibilities from there Woodinville showroom. Unfortunately the vehicles emailed where not within my price range either. Undaunted by this they continued to search and found a well maintained 2010 Chrysler Town & Country Touring Edition with only 78K miles. They detailed it and allowed my mechanic do a thorough inspection which confirmed it was in excellent condition. When we bought a mobility van for my father a few years ago, we had no idea how much it would enhance all of our lives. My dad sat in the passenger seat and had the best view and so much dignity. The mechanism to get in or out made outings SO EASY. Whether it was for a visit with the doctor, a trip to the park it made everything SO MUCH EASIER! The last few years of my dad's life were richer because of the van we purchased from Absolute. I cannot say enough good things about Absolute Mobility. I recently purchased a mobility scooter and wanted to add a lift platform to the back of my Nissan Rogue. I had envisioned a very simple platform, but it was not to be. After talking with Steve at their Tacoma location, I learned (and verified) that there was only one model that would meet the needs of both my car and the scooter. Steve ordered it for me, and when it arrived several weeks later, my daughter and I went up to Woodinville for the installation. They made us comfortable in their break room while we were waiting, and someone even went out to pick up our lunch for us! I came in from out of town with my mother on vacation. She's disabled, so normally vacations can be rough. Thanks to Absolute Mobility Center, our vacation went off without a hitch. We rented a van for the week. They dropped the van off at the airport as soon as we landed, and picked up the van from the airport once we flew back to Wyoming. The entire process was seamless and completely low-stress, leaving us free to enjoy the sights that Seattle has to offer. The quality of our vacation was fantastic because mom didn't have to worry about being uncomfortable. Eddie, Ayla, and Amanda were so helpful throughout the purchasing process of my new 2016 Toyota Sienna van. This was my first accessible vehicle and a significant investment. Eddie referred me to an occupational driving assessment specialist who was able to guide me through the many options available and provided me with a list of items that Eddie and his crew were able to make a reality. Tim and Rob, in the service department, have been so very helpful, from the custom made arm rest to coming to my rescue after hours when I had issues with my new hand controls. Having this vehicle has been such a joy! Getting two 6-way seats has allowed me to be a passenger more times in the last two weeks than I have been in the last six years. read more

This is a hard business to be in given the various abilities and emotional impacts facing those experiencing mobility challenges. Our experience with Eddie the owner and Tim the Service Manager have been extremely positive, ethical and receiving sound mechanical support for two vehicles so far. Our most recent visit with a Braun chairlift in a classic Chevy truck could have cost several hundred dollars, maybe thousands, if handled unscrupulously. Tim and his lead mechanic identified a potential cause of the short-outs/stops as an incorrect fuse amperage installed by an Everett mobility dealer. With no charge at all we were on our way and the problem has been resolved versus replacing all the wiring or even the lift. Big thanks read more

Everyone at Absolute Mobility Center was so helpful when we came in to the shop over the last few weeks while looking at a new van for a family member. The sales staff were extremely knowledgable, and they were able to answer all of our questions. They were also very patient as this was our first time learning about wheelchair accessible vans and what would be the right fit. Bought my first van from Eddie and Amanda back when they ran the business out of their house. I appreciate the integrity they hold to the vehicles they sell, and the service they offer. I have had minimal problems with my van, but when an issue did come up, they were able to fit me in the schedule that same day. Very helpful, great selection. I'd been to a few other places in the area, but ended up purchasing a wheelchair from this company.
