Having recently graduated from school, I was in the market for a commuter car. I narrowed it down to the brand I wanted then did extensive research on years and models. Great people to work with when buying a car but definitely not great people after the deal, especially if anything goes wrong. I bought a Volvo from them but 1 day later, it started misfiring. When I called, I was told that there was "nothing they could do" to help. Not even covering the cost of spark plugs, coil packs, etc. But I'll cover the other side of the story and explain. The car was listed for 8500 I think, but we negotiated down to 7500. Why? Because the sellers knew NOTHING about the car's history or even any of the problems. The sunroof was caulked up, seemingly because the sunroof drains got clogged up and fried some electronics. When asked about this, they didn't know about it and therefore wouldn't have told me if I didn't notice. Additionally, the condition the car was stated in was not accurate. While it was stated as "good", most damage was not shown in the listing online, and in person, there were many dents; the bumper was scratched pretty bad, the passenger side rear door was really dented, the frame-rail on the roof was dented, there was missing clear coat in numerous places and even a scratch down to bare metal in one spot. The interior panel of the hatch was falling off, not to mention numerous interior dents on metal pieces such as the dashboard infotainment center, a janky passenger seat that had a bad connection with the electronic controls, and a speaker that was raspy on the passenger side. There was also missing heat-shield in the engine bay, and the entire engine bay was covered in oil to make it "look good". This turned out to be the reason for my misfire; when they put oil on the engine cover, oil dripped down into a coil pack and broke it. All in all, I'd say it was definitely worth less than 8500, especially since the KBB value is 1k lower than what I even got it for, 7500. But I won't go into that because that's really my fault for buying it at that price. BTW, the paperwork completely forfeits ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, so do not expect to be legally able to force them to pay for any fixes. They won't. IF YOU'RE STILL SET ON THIS CAR LOT: Make sure you get a good deal and the car isn't hiding anything. Test drive for 30 minutes at the least; This lot will ERASE CODES so you can't see the problems. BRING AN OBD2 scanner, they are $40 for the cheapest one at O'Rielly's, and you'll need it anyway. Then, inspect the car WELL. Check all windows, engine idle sound, pull gently on all hoses to make sure they are attached. Mine weren't (vacuum line), but I only noticed AFTER I BOUGHT THE CAR. So don't make the same mistake. And definitely make a list of things that are wrong with the car. You won't get a deal if you don't do that. TL;DR: This is a wild card car lot. You could get something good, or something bad. You don't know, the sellers don't know either. Unless it's a good deal or you can strike up a warranty deal for cheap, I wouldn't recommend it unless you're fully committed. Be very careful if you buy something here, and check as much as you can to make sure it works. read more

I cannot emphasize enough how great the *experience* at EZ was! My first contact was with Sam and they were busy at the office doing cleaning but still made sure I had everything I needed when I came to test drive. I inadvertently and accidentally locked the keys in when I left them in the ignition to test the electronics and the door closed behind me when I went around to the other side. Although Sam was frustrated at first, he was very kind and reassured me since it was an accident. I felt bad but he got the car unlocked and we moved on quickly. Even after this snafu, he was still very pleasant and this was a solid first impression to come back to. I told him I would come back with a mechanic and my wife to check out the car and he gave me his son's card, Ali. From there on, I was interacting with Ali and he was quite simply amazing and took his time to listen and give phenomenal customer service. A (used) dealer experience, by most accounts, is not always the best experience. In this case, this is a family-owned business and they certainly create a great customer-oriented atmosphere, that in my opinion gets customer retention than the run-of-mill/stereotypical pushy, slimy dealer experience. At every point I spoke with Ali, he was a very good listener and even when we talked about the sale of the car, we carried a very productive conversation. He was easy to get along with. I acknowledge it is a business and they have to make money, but Ali met me at a very agreeable point for me and this went along way as I am always ready to walk if any sales interaction is not good. He never pushed me hard. Quite boldly but true, this was actually the best experience I've ever had thus far at a dealer- used or new. Even after purchasing the vehicle I wanted, Ali took very good care of me to make sure I was good to go with this car. As busy as he is, still super responsive on text. This is a huge reason why I highly recommend EZ- they do an amazing job with the human aspect of the business and make sure you do not feel like a number that comes and goes! They are a small office and Ali can get very busy by himself but he still does his best to make sure he is taking care of the customer who is right in front of him. I felt bad for him at times, holding down the sometimes chaotic fort, but man does he do everything he can to make the operation go smoothly. A very good business ethos here. As for the car itself, after shopping elsewhere I decided that this particular used car was going to be worth me trying to fix as it was in really good aesthetic shape and I am privy to fixing durable Acura/Hondas. My mechanic found several BIG leaks and although their mechanic countered mine, I had to find a middle ground. I even took it to Acura and they confirmed a ton of leaks that my mechanic did and more. At the end, I made the decision to go with it and feel good that over time I can repair the leaks and this car will be a good investment. The fact that the dealer/their mechanic countered is not a surprise or a big deal to me, as I felt good about the car I was getting since I am mechanically inclined and have mechanical resources. Overall, the car wasn't in pristine shape but this dealer appears to do a pretty good job selecting fine autos (this is my first and only experience at EZ so take that with a grain of salt!). The only downside I had was they they had told me they had a guy who could help me fix the broken third row latch, but it was very difficult to line this particular guy/thing up so I ended up fixing it myself. Their guy initially tried to fix it before I bought he car, but didn't up fixing the latch right. This was part of the used car compromise I had to level with. If you are not mechanically inclined and find a car with some issues, these sort of things may or may not be a dealbreaker for you. I had a great experience with Sam and Ali and would recommend stopping by if you are in the market for a used auto. Sometimes, the experience can mean everything. I bought a 2000 Camry, charcoal gray, in May 2021. I see many positive reviews and they influenced my confidence in this dealer. I need to state the truth! This place has soured my experience so much - I'm ready to Uber for the rest of my life. The facts: 3k purchase price 20 miles later check engine light comes on Take to Toyota - said the used car dealer over rode check engine light and exhaust gas recirculation valve and vacuum switch was blown - 1600 repair Two days later - another check engine light on - charcoal canister is bad - 800 repair Now battery light is on We've been told by a Toyota and an independent dealer that this dealer with out a doubt overrode the check engine lights. THEY SELL BAD CARS On 5/17/2017 I purchased a 2001 Ford Focus from EZ Deals Auto. 3 days later the car would not start. It was discovered by myself and a mechanic who is a friend of the family, that there was water in the Spark Plug Terminals. (SEE PICTURES) EZ Deals Auto stated that it had occurred from pressure washing the engine. They worked on the car for few hours, and then returned it to me. I drove approximately 10 Minutes from their business and the car died. (SEE PICTURES) I then had it towed back to them. A few days later I retrieved the vehicle from them. The car drove for approximately 5 days, and then died, repeating exactly what had happened the 2'nd time. (SEE PICTURES) I then had it towed to a local Ford Dealership. They informed me that their was; 1.Water in the Engine/Spark plug terminals. 2.Throttle Body was failing electrically. 3. Fuel Rail failing. Quote Of Total amount of repair $1'536 I contacted Ez Deals Auto Sales and told them of the problems reported by the Ford Mechanic. I requested that they either undo the deal, do to the limited driving condition of the vehicle, and to the amount of damage that had occurred in the vehicle previous to my purchase of it. They stated that it was "strange how every time you leave the lot, it doesn't work, But when it's with US it works." This statement was repeated 3 times during our conversation. I considered this extremely insulting and unprofessional. I left the conversation stating that I would not be satisfied unless they either 1. Pay for half of the Parts/Labor, or 2. Undo the deal. I Have not been contacted by them since that conversation took place 2 days ago. I have contacted the Attorney Generals Consumer Affairs Department and filed a complaint. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Borough. If this does not resolve the issue in a fair manner, I will get an atourney and take this to small claims court. Never have I felt so completely swindled and ripped off. read more

The guys that run this place are in good faith, but the younger guy that does most of the repairs on cars doesnt really know what hes doing, the car I bought REALLY badly needed these extra oil filters replaced and they werent, so the car started overheating after a couple weeks. I got lucky it was an easy fix but it took like 3 visits to different repair shops. Just watch out for the quality control of the cars they're putting out, and maybe get the extended warranty with these guys rather than buying as is, in case you arent as lucky. read more

We saw a Ford Ranger truck listed on Craigslist that was posted by Ali at Ez Deals Auto. I know these trucks go fast so I sent a text to Ali on Saturday night to view the truck on the next day. He responded quickly, we got to see the truck and test drive it that Sunday. No hassle, no pressure. He was very attentive and professional. We bought the truck that same visit and felt good about the price and the vehicle. Three days later we received the new plates in the mail just as they had promised as-well-as a check for an overpayment on the licensing. It is a small family owned lot. Ali's father did the paperwork and was also very professional. Only reason I give four stars instead of five is because of their office. It is small but very unorganized and cluttered. Highly recommend! I had an amazing experience here when I purchased my Lexus GS350. I spent hours and hours on the internet narrowing down a few cars I was interested in and they all just so happened to be off Lake City Way. I live in the Gig Harbor area and driving that far North was a long commute for me. The first couple of cars I looked at were absolutely nothing like the pictures posted online and one had obvious mechanic issues. I was completely disappointed, discouraged and frustrated. I bought a used Jeep Grand Cherokee there and on my way home realized that it has a bad heater core. Sam also gave me a "brand new key" but it is an aftermarket and does not work, it cannot be programmed. I called him but he denied it being an aftermarket and never called me back. I went to Jeep and bought a "Jeep" key and it works and it says Jeep on the back. Not sure of any other problems the Jeep has because I have not been able to drive it to avoid ruining the carpet.
